Sending Attachment from SAP ECC to a Thirdy Party system

All,
Any inputs on how to send an attachment from SAP ECC to an external system(3rd party). I think this has something to do with creation of RFC destination of connection type "G". But then how can i use this RFC destination in a program?

Hi Praveen,
First, I would suggest that you identify what version, and SP, of MII and ECC. Also the NW version and SP if applicable.
Second, use this custom Google search and terms MII, IDoc Listener, and perhaps SM59. There are many discussions on IDoc Listeners going back a number of years. Many of the issues with IDoc Listeners have not changed in most of that time, so look at the older ones as well. I presume that you found and are using my How to Send an IDoc from SAP ECC to the SAP MII IDoc Listener (MII 12.1 to ECC 6.0) to set up your Listener? If not, you should review your configuration and setup procedure against it.
I have not looked at MII 14.0 or 15.0, but understand that the configuration of Listeners really has not changed since MII 12.1. So the document is still applicable.
Third, roughly 90% of the problems experienced with IDoc Listeners involve multiple uses of the self registering ProgID. Deleting it in one place, generally does not work. Use it in one place only. Create a new ProgID for each separate Listener (either type) on each separate MII instance for each ECC instance. Save yourself a lot of headaches. Never, ever reuse ProgIDs!!!
Fourth, most of the other issues involve a PI/XI system in the middle. Those are a bit more complicated since they rely on getting the connection configuration set up properly in PI. Since I am not that familiar with PI systems (most times it is not involved with the Listeners), I generally have to get other experts involved. Sometimes a CSS ticket is required.

"An IdocException occurred" while posting Idocs from SAP ECC to SAP PI AEX

Hi all,
While sending Idocs from SAP ECC to SAP PI 7.4 AEX, we are experiencing this issue at SAP ECC-SM58
Only a particular Idoc type is having this issue.
Below are the checks done before posting this query:
1. Pushed other Idocs from the SAP ECC to PI and all were getting exchanged successfully.
2. Reloaded the meta data in PI for the particular Idoc type in issue.
3. Checked the RFC destinations in SAP ECC, RFC connection test is also working fine.
4. Unicode option enabled in the SAP ECC RFC destination pointing to PI-AEX
5. Restarted the inboundRA service in PI AEX.
Is there anything still missing. What could be root cause of this issue.
If anyone has encountered it before, pleases share the resolution.

The error desc says

I need to send a mail from one SAP box (ECC) to another SAP box (SRM,CRM, EP etc). I know how to send mail from SAP to external address but unable to find the parameters in this case. Kindly help.

You can configure inbound and outbound forwarding. Outbound flow forwardsa SAP message (eg: update termination) via UNIX sendmail to the intended recepient. Inbound accepts a message from sendmail and places it in the users SAPOffice inbox. Many companies prefer to configure outbound only.

Problems that you might encounter :-
If you have set up a node in SCOT and it tests out well but recieve the reply.
"Cannot process message in node, parameterscannot be converted".
Make sure the RFC connection is working, and that SapConnect has been installed on the Unix Server or the Microsoft Exchange Server. Originally, I had the same error, and found that nothing had been installed on Unixor Exchange, to support SapConnect.
In SCOT (View -> System Status), your mail remains at the Intransit column.
Check you sendmail.cf files (e.g.Sun Solaris /etc/mail/sendmail.cf). Try using the sendmail command to send a test file at the Unix level. You must be able to send mail at theUnix level before you can send mail at the SAP level.

Set up for Extraction the data from SAP ECC system

Hi!
I would like to analyze the transaction and master data from SAP ECC system into SAP BI system.
I have created the connection (entry for SAP ECC system) within SAP NetWeaver System.
Unfortunately when I try to load the transaction data for Info source the process does not end successfully.
There are no information within SM58 on source system.
The ST22 does not contain some suitable information.
Question:
Which settings do I miss and how can solve my problem?
(user authorization, etc.)

I need to get the data from SAP ECC & BI to Crystal reports and then after formating data in Crystal reports, my requierment is to send via email (Broadcasting). Is there any option to Broadcast from Crystal reports?
I read Ingo Hilgefort blogs, but I need in detail steps such as to verify Integration Kit is installed or not and also how to create connections in between SAP ECC and Crystal. What are the Security setups(User IDs and Authorizations) involved?
What is best option for email/broadcasting for Crystal Reports?

Loadind transaction data from SAP ECC 6.0 system failed

I have SAP ECC 6.0 IDES system with the following clients:
100 DEV client
200 BI client of SAP 6.0
Now I would like to load the transaction data from InfoSources 0FI_AR_6 and 0FI_AR_4 from SAP ECC client 100.
The extraction process has been frozen in status "yellow" and after a while changed the status to "red" with the following information

We are running DS 3.2.1 with a data source connected to ECC 6.0 using u201CDirect Downloadu201D.
DS 3.2 Designer on Windows, DS Job server on Unix, SAP ECC running on Unix (different Unix box than DS).
We get a dump in the SAP ECC source system, RFC_ATTACH_GUI_FAILED Start 'sapgui' failed.

From the DS Designer
- We can view the data in the SAP ECC T001 table from the ECC Data Source.
- Run the job from the DS designer on the DS Unix server, jobs starts the ABAP Data flow, then gets the error:
>Cannot connect to SAP Applications datastore <DS_JR_ERD100_TEST> using host <ierpt1>, client <100>, user <G6992JR>, and system number <27: CRFC error: Start 'sapgui' failed.>. Please make sure the SAP server is running and the login information is correct.

Thanks for the information on the Direct Download.
I will check test by running the generated ABAP in the SAP ECC system to see why we get the GUI ERROR.
I now understand that Direct Download is for testing & small amounts of data & "Old" functionality.
We were doing a test on a table with only 87 records.
We wanted to test that we could connect from DS to the SAP ECC system & that the DS Data Flow worked.
Also, our SAP ECC & our Data Services are on different Unix servers that do NOT have a common directory.
So if we used Shared Directory, the file would be deposited on the SAP Server, but the DS server would not be able to see it to pick it up. So we may have to look at FTP option.
Has anyone used DS to extract from an SAP ECC on a Unix server to Data Services on a DIFFERENT Unix server with no common directory?
We would really prefere NOT to have to create a temporary file, but would rather it worked just like the BW extracts from SAP ECC, it just sends the records over via TRFC's, not temp file, or if it woudl work the same way as when DS pulls from one oracle DB on a Unix server to another oracle DB on a Different Unix server, I don't think that creates temporary files.

IORDER01 IDoc is sent without plant code from SAP ECC

Hi MEINT experts,
Does anyone experience before on the service order integration between SAP ERP and SAP ME, somehow the IORDER01 IDoc is sent over with empty plant code embedded in the original document? (where we suppose to see <WERKS> data tag is attached to the IDoc sent over from SAP ECC). This has resulted to the corresponding IDoc is not able to process by MEINT due to empty plant code.
Please advice how to resolve this if you have done that before.

could someone give simple sample of code which will send mails from sap to receiver.
How to collect data from tables to be send?
I have three field with data: task, notes, price, how to make that data will be in mail for example in this way:

Cannot Send Email from SAP Business One

Hi Experts
I have configured SAP Email Services from the Mailer Service and Customer can send emails all the while,
Now I have an Issue for One User,
Iam using the Same Machine, Same Database with Manager Login, I can send Email from SAP with Attachments
But When I use another Super user the system is not delivering the Email and it Goes to the Sent box (but not delivered)
Have anyone encountered the Issue before

If the email can be found in Sent box, it must be delivered already.
The problem could be on the email recipient side. It may go to the junk mail.

Send email from SAP to External User ..........

Is it possible to send mail from SAP to External user??????if possible does BASIS people had to do something???
I want to send the email from sap to external user([email protected]).My mail will consist of some changes made in production order(CO03). for which i had created the BADI. That part is over now i want to send the mail.
I got many sample programs in sdn but when i enter the email address it execute but mail is not sent.....I want to know by just executing Zprogram mail will be sent or there is some role for BASIS also..............
