Sending Attachments from GW-POA to engine fails..

GroupWise Version: 8.0.2 Hotpatch 3
DataSynchronizer: 1.2.5 Build 299
Blackberry Enterprise Server: 10.1
Device: Blackberry Q5
Hey guys!
Since setting up a BES10 for Blackberrys new devices, we are experiencing an odd problem:
Synchronizing mails between GW and the Q5 works just perfectly, until attachments (of any sort: .pdf's, .doc or .xls) get bigger than ~50kB. The Mail is shown at the Q5, but its attachment is broken..
We also checked both, max. file-size of the mobility-connector and the gw-connector (both bigger than 500kB).
We think the problem is located at the gw-connector, as the logs say this:

  • How to send attachments from specific mail account?

    Our iPad has three e-mail accounts set up and any time we want to send an attachment, iPad 2 defaults to the first account on the list (AOL).
    I've searched on-line but can't seem to find a way to get iPad to send the specified attachment from the account I specify. Is it possible?
    Thanks.

    It sure would have been great if you could just select the email account from which to send it from at dropdown or something at the time you send it. But this works well enough.
    You CAN do that as well. I though that you wanted to change the deafult account.
    The next time that you want to send an email with an attachment - after you have the email up on the screen - tap on your email address in the Cc/Bcc/From: heading - the email headers will expand to show Cc and Bcc as individual spaces. Then tap on your email address and all of your email address will appear in a pop up window. Select the address that you want to send the email from.

  • Send attachments from finder via Outlook 2011 for Mac

    I am trying to right click attachments in finder and choose send by mail. Unfortunately only mac mail comes up and I need to use outlook 2011. Its installed and chosen as default in both outlook settings and mail settings.
    Can drag attachments to outlook icon but would be easy to have right click option.
    Auto optimize size of attachments like outlook for windows did would also be helpful for large file sizes.

    I believe this article should resolve this problem for you:
    Create a Service to attach files to a new Outlook for Mac mail message
    Also, you should be able to drag/drop a file from the Finder onto the Outlook icon on the Dock.

  • Major problems sending attachments from Mail

    G'day all,
    I frequently have to email colleagues at work from my Mac at home. They all use MS Outlook to view emails.
    Whenever I send just an an email (text only) everything comes out fine, my signature etc.
    However when i send ANY attachment, e.g .xls .doc or .jpg or any other type the person receiving does not get a regular looking email.
    They get 4 files along the top of the page, AT00001.htm, AT00002.htm, the file I sent .xls and one called mylogo.jpg (this is just a little image in my signature).
    The "main body" of the email remains empty.
    I do tick the 'Windows Friendly box " when sending.
    This has been going on for a while apparantly but I was never told.
    Any ideas how to overcome this issue as it does look very un-professional when i send emails.
    Remember, they are perfect without attachments.

    I am having the same sort of issue. I use to be able to attach icon documents in my e-mails. Now attachments are coming up as large documents embedded at the end of the e-mail. I then went to the corner of the e-mail and brought the document down to small size. I just need to attache an icon of the document, not the full document. How do I get this back.

  • Sending photo from camera roll via MMS fails

    So basically here is my setup:
    -iMessage is on
    -Send as SMS if iMessage fails is OFF
    -MMS is on
    If for example I pick a photo from the camera roll and want to share it by messages and want to send it to someone that DOES NOT have an iPhone then the message automatically fails because it tries to send it as an iMessage. This is regardless of whether or not the person is on an iOS device or not. After it fails, I can go into messages and see that it failed and resend it and it works. Does this happen to anyone else?
    Thank you.

    sounds like an issue with the way the messages are running.
    Follow these steps:
    -Turn off iMessage.
    -End iMessage in the background processes. (Double tap home button then press and hold icon then tap minus sign. double tap to return to home screen)
    -Power cycle phone.
    -Turn iMessage on.
    -Resend message.

  • Sending attachments from desktop

    Is there any way to send a document as an attachment right from the desktop? So, for instance, you're in a folder on a document and you want to send it as an attachment. Can one add a "send as attchment" option in the ctrl-click menu, or is there another way?
    I have looked at automater, but it seems to only work for a specific file, and not as a general rule.
    Any thoughts?

    Does your Automator workflow work when the first action is "Get Selected Finder Items"?
    Edited: yes it does:
    Action 1: Get Selected Finder Items (Finder)
    Action 2: New Mail Message (Mail)

  • All of a sudden my computer stopped sending attachments from my gmail account and another mail account.  When I try to attach a document the email account starts to reload

    How do I fix this problem?

    1. Try reinstall iLIfe 09 from your install disk
    To re-install iPhoto
    1. Put the iPhoto.app in the trash (Drag it from your Applications Folder to the trash)
    2. Download it from the App Store to reinstall It's on your Purchases List* there.
    For older versions that have been installed from Disk you'll need these additional steps:
    2a: On 10.5:  Go to HD/Library/Receipts and remove any pkg file there with iPhoto in the name.
    2b: On 10.6: Those receipts may be found as follows:  In the Finder use the Go menu and select Go To Folder. In the resulting window type
    /var/db/receipts/
    2c: on 10.7 or later they're at
    /private/var/db/receipts
    A Finder Window will open at that location and you can remove the iPhoto pkg files.
    3. Re-install.
    If you purchased an iLife Disk, then iPhoto is on it.
    If iPhoto was installed on your Mac when you go it then it’s on the System Restore disks that came with your Mac. Insert the first one and opt to ‘Install Bundled Applications Only.
    *Sometimes iPhoto is not visible on the Purchases List. it may be hidden. See this article for details on how to unhide it.
    http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4928
    One question often asked: Will I lose my Photos if I reinstall?
    iPhoto the application and the iPhoto Library are two different parts of the iPhoto programme. So, reinstalling the app should not affect the Library. BUT you should always have a back up before doing this kind of work. Always.
    If that fails, then you're reinstalling the OS.

  • Having trouble sending attachments from my imac thru gmail seems to like safari better i dont like safai would rather use firefox what do i do?

    Hello!
    I much prefer Firefox to safari! I have an imac and I also use gmail. I tried to send an attachment document from my computer while I was in Firefox from Gmail. It would not do it and I could not close gmail nor close Firefox to try to start over. Tried this 2x. Force Quit and everything. I then started up in Safari and all went well. Is Firefox somehow less compatible with Google and gmail and Apple then Safari? I am assuming Apple and Google are separate companies but sometimes one wonders?? So what can I do to make a smooth attachment from my Imac to gmail attachment in Firefox? I really prefer Firefox it loads better and less spinning wheel. I think a lot of people agree with me. Please help!! We must have alternatives to Safari and Firefox is the best as far as I know...

    Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance).
    <b> To Enable SafeMode </b>
    *You can open Firefox 4.0+ in Safe Mode by holding the '''Shift''' key when you open the Firefox desktop or Start menu shortcut.
    * Or open the Help menu and click on the '''Restart with Add-ons Disabled...''' menu item while Firefox is running.
    [[Image:FirefoxSafeMode|width=520]]
    ''Once you get the pop-up, just select "'Start in Safe Mode"''
    [[Image:Safe Mode Fx 15 - Win]]
    If it works in Safe Mode and in normal mode with all extensions (Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) disabled then try to find which extension is causing it by enabling one extension at a time until the problem reappears.
    Close and restart Firefox after each change via "Firefox > Exit" (Windows: Firefox/File > Exit; Mac: "Firefox > Quit Firefox"; Linux: "Firefox/File > Quit")

  • How do send attachments from email

    I am new at this can anyone help me step by step easier to follow that way

    Hi bobby40272,
    You can follow these steps to send an attachment to your printer:
    1.  Open your email client and compose a new message.
    2.  Attach the file you want to send.
    3.  Make sure you have text in both the subject line and the body of your email.
    4.  Enter the ePrint address for your printer in the To: field (also, make sure this is the only address the email is being sent to), and send the email.
    The email should print momentarily at your printer.  You can also check the status of your print job under the "Recent Print Jobs" section at http://www.eprintcenter.com.
    If I have solved your issue, please feel free to provide kudos and make sure you mark this thread as solution provided!

  • HT5361 Cannot send attachments from word or excel

    Trying to share a file as Attachment within Excel or Word I receive an error
    "Cannot send attachment, make sure your E-Mail application is configured correctly"
    Tried everything!

    Try control - clicking on the document and chose Compress. This will create a zip file without damaging the original. See if you can attach the zip file.

  • Attachments from Workflow to ABAP Webdynpro launched from UWL

    Hi All,
    You might have seen a recent post from me for sending attachments from ABAP Webdynpro to Workflow.
    I could do that by just calling SAP_WAPI_ATTACHMENT_ADD. I didnt have to create an instance of the SOFM object
    by passing the ATT_ID from this function module.
    Now the next task of the workflow which is sent to UWL, automatically carries the attachements in the Workitem.
    I didnt do binding from workflow container to Task container. (I dont know how!!)
    But I need to get those attachments on my ABAP Webdynpro after it is launched from UWL.
    For this I am using SAP_WAPI_GET_ATTACHEMENTS. But this FM is giving me the BOR reference.
    How do use this to get the attachments displayed on my Webdynpro as links?
    Thanks
    Deb

    Hi Debabra,
    I have similar requirement where I want to add new attachment from Webdynpro abap to workflow and again next level want to view it in UWL in another Webdynpro abap from workflow.
    I am trying to attach the document from Webdynpro to Workflow I used FM SAP_WAPI_ATTACHMENT_ADD and looks like it attached in workflow.
    Can you please tell  how the second part was solved where I want to attach document from workflow to Webdynpro abap
    Thanks,

  • Sending attachments of ME43(RFQ) tcode in mail

    Hi All,
    We have developed a SmartForm for RFQ and the same we are converting into PDF and sending in a mail as an attachment. Now, user has came up with new requirement, that is, they will attach documents directly in ME42/ME43 tcode using 'Services for Object' which is available as a button in left hand top corner, just above application tool bar. And that attached files along with our RFQ SmartForm should be sent in a same mail as an attachments.
    Can anyone guide me how to achieve this?
    Thanks,
    Aravinth

    Hi All,
    Finally I got a solution for my requirement , same I am mentioning below,
    Table SRGBTBREL is having a list of attachments which we are attaching through Services for Object in all transactions (In my case, ME43 for RFQ).
    So I am passing the below values to the fields of table SRGBTBREL,
    RELTYPE      =      'ATTA'
    INSTID_A       =      LV_EBELN
    TYPEID_A     =      'BUS2010'
    CATID_A       =      'BO'.
    and I am getting some hexa value from field INSTID_B.
    And this value I am passing to a function module called SO_DOCUMENT_READ_API1, and getting output in DOCUMENT_DATA and OBJECT_CONTENT.
    DOCUMENT_DATA - Will have name of attachments, size and other details
    OBJECT_CONTENT - Will have a Binary data of attachment
    and after getting these information, I am calling a method ADD_ATTACHMENT of class CL_DOCUMENT_BCS , refer a below code
                 LV_SUBJECT  = WA_DOCDATA-OBJ_DESCR.
                 LV_FILESIZE = WA_DOCDATA-DOC_SIZE.
                 CALL METHOD LCL_DOCUMENT->ADD_ATTACHMENT
                   EXPORTING
                     I_ATTACHMENT_TYPE    = WA_DOCDATA-OBJ_TYPE
                     I_ATTACHMENT_SIZE    = LV_FILESIZE
                     I_ATTACHMENT_SUBJECT = LV_SUBJECT
                     I_ATT_CONTENT_TEXT   = IT_OBJCONT[].
    after calling this method, all attachment which is present in Services for objects will be attached to a mail and then, adding sender and recipients mail ids, I am using a SEND method of class CL_BCS to send mail with attachments.
    I referred the below link,
    How to send Attachments from Services for Object in Email attachments
    Thank you Gokul, for giving me some hint.
    Regards,
    Aravinth

  • Not sending attachments

    My MacBook Pro stopped sending attachments through e-mail and all other web applications. Any idea why this is happening?

    When I send attachments from my Exchange account, it shows that I sent them, but the receiver of the e-mails does not get them??

  • I can't send attachments

    I am supposed to be able to send attachments up to 25Mb however it does not matter how small or what format I try and use I see the file name and file size in the bar near the top of the screen but I only get a spinning thing as though it is attaching a file.
    I can just leave this until it times out. There is no problem with my PC as I can send attachments from my hotmail address.
    Any ideas ???????????????????

    Hi.
    This sounds like something locally is interferring, e.g. a security product such as anti-virus or firewall. Can you check the settings of any of those products in case they are indeed getting in the way ?
