Sending Contacts to Parrot handsfree kit via Bluetooth

Hi,
Does anybody know whether it is possible to send contacts via Bluetooth to a Parrot handsfree Minikit?
Thanks,
Cristina

Good Evening!
The obvious thing I think you may be missing is iSync.
http://www.apple.com/macosx/features/isync/
Open the Bluetooth preferences pane, click the Devices tab, then click the 'Setup new device..." button, then follow the instructions.
iSync will handle the synchronisation of Contacts and Calendars between your phone and Mac. Its not necessary to do it manually from Address Book.

You must have all your contacts on the simcard.  Try copying all the contacts on to the simcard and then see what happens.

  • Unable to recieve contacts from pearl to bold via bluetooth please help

hello everyone. I have a BB pearl 8100 and a bold and my pearl has the option for sening all the contacts to another device via bluetooth, i have paired both phones but i do not get the option for sending contact list to device like i do with the other phones i have paired with the pearl. why do some decives recieve this option and others dont, i need to send my info via bluetooth because my usb connection is failing on thes pearl and i have almost 1000 contacts.
    please help, any ideas?

This is exactly my issue, even when the 'entire music library' is selected on the music tab, the gauge at the bottom (the blue showing audio) only shows 2GB.
On the top right of this tab however, it still states 8,000 songs.  My iPhone 4S is in (almost) complete denial of my library.  The other iPhone 4S linked to this library has no issue syncing the entire collection.
I have also tried selecting the other option where you manually check playlists, albums etc, and selected EVERYTHING manually, and still only 2 GB of my entire colletion is picked up.
My next options are backing up my entire library, deleting iTunes and all components and reinstalling, but what if this doesn't fix it?  I have wasted so much time on Match so far :-(  I could also make an appointment with a genius and bring laptop and iPhone 4S to the shop as a next step.
At this stage I would be happy if they refunded my Match subscription so long as I had my entire collection back on my iPhone.

  • Upload contacts from e71 to lexus via bluetooth

The E71 allows you to "mark all" contacts but not to send them to another device via bluetooth. Why else you you need to "mark all"?
Sending 250 odd individual business cards doesn't appeal. Anybody have a solution?

No it is a MB issue
The C class need to be at the correct level of Bluetooth to support ( or command system does  )
Speak to your Dealer to understand the car's capability and compatibility
Note the iPhone is the host and the car is the client .Up to MB to provide compatibility not the other way round

  • How to send a itunes to the phone via bluetooth

I know this can be done just wondering if anyone can or is allowed to share the info
I have a Samsung mm-A900, the book says it a A900M but there is no such phone listed.
I want to send a .19 second itunes to the phone, I set it up thru bluetooth with send file,
The error report states that "file not accepted" , the file size is less then the max allowed by the file size for the phone.
Do I need another 3rd party software ?
    Greg

I am trying to do it thru file exchange its the only way I see that it can be done in the manual.
I got thru to the Sprint and they tried to tell me that the manual is not correct in that when it says "get files and send Files" that there is no such options and that the file transfer should be automatic.
Either statement makes no sense to me, what I am going to try and do is a different file format,
text instead of music, I can not do that until late tonight.
The automatic feature simply does not make sense to me as the phone would need to know where to put it. the FTP does not stay opened long enough for the computer to find and send the file.
The CS rep began to get testy and so did I so i thought it better to end the conversation.

  • 'Sending failure' message when sening image via bluetooth from phone

    Hia,
I'm getting a 'sending failure' message when sending an image from my phone to my new imac.
I have no trouble sending content from this phone to my old powerbook and have no trouble sending content from my new imac to my phone.

If you have a new iMac then you posted in the wrong forum. This area is for G5 iMac issues. Apple has not made any G5 iMacs since 2005.

  • How do I transfer iPhone contacts via Bluetooth to my car

I just bought a Mercedes-Benz GLK 350 and I cannot figure out how to transfer my Verizon iPhone contacts to the MB console via Bluetooth vCard upload. Having trouble fidning a resource that can enlighten me on this.

The iPhone 4 does not support the OPP profile that is required for Bluetooth contact transfer.  So your out of luck using conventional methods.
Who knows?  Maybe iOS 5 will allow this... I know that they have improved bluetooth support, however I don't know if that includes OPP.

  • IPhone ios 5 still won't send vCard contacts via bluetooth to car system

I have an iPhone 3GS and am running iOS 5.0.1.  I have a 2011 Toyota Camry with built-in bluetooth.  I see a lot of posts from people talking about the fact that the iPhone can't send vCard name/phone number contact information to a car bluetooth system.  Sending via MMS or e-mail is not an option to a car system like this.  The car bluetooth system gets put into a mode where it waits for the information from the phone.  But there is no option in iOS to send vCards via bluetooth.  This capability is something my wife's free Samsung Solstice phone can do, but my "smartphone" / iPhone cannot.  Every number I call from the iPhone, therefore, shows as calling "no name" as I can't get basic contact names/numbers sent to the car's system.  This is not a far fetched feature and many phones (free ones at that) can do this.  When will users be able to get this basic feature?  All I need is send vCard contacts via bluetooth...As I said, sending via MMS or e-mail doesn't work for a car.  I shouldn't need some app to do this either.  It should be another transport feature on the vCard export from iOS.
    Thanks,
    Michael

In order to get contacts onto your in car system, it will need to support the PBAP bluetooth profile (Phone Book Access Protocol). If it does, contacts will transfer automatically on connection. You can not transfer contacts the way you're trying to.
Contact Toyota and see if there is an update available for your system.

  • Sending contacts via Bluetooth

I can connect my Z10 to my car via Bluetooth and even transfer contacts automatically when i start the car. The problem i'm having is that all contacts are transferred, including Facebook contacts, which are relatively worthless in my car and always duplicates of what is already in my device address book. Is there a way to configure the Bluetooth connection so that only a subset of contacts are transferred while pairing (e.g., categories or groups)? This is very beneficial, and it's exactly how my BB Bold 9700 and 9900 worked. Hell, even iPhone allowed this. Please don't give my already disillusioned iPhone friends a single bragging right.

    Hey wnbb,
Welcome to the BlackBerry Support Community Forums.
    Thanks for the question.
I would suggest hiding the Facebook and other contacts on the BlackBerry Z10 and then they will not be sent over via Bluetooth.
Follow the steps in this blog article: http://helpblog.blackberry.com/2013/04/how-to-hide-contact-accounts-in-blackberry-10/
Let me know if you have any more questions.
    Cheers.

  • Need help 2 get my new BB to receive my contacts via bluetooth from od phone!

Hi guys, I just got a lovely BB Curve today and have spent the last 4 hours trying in vain to get it receive my contacts list via bluetooth from my old phone. I have paired them up and can send to my old phone but cannot receive to my BB. My old phone attempts to connect and then it comes up with a connection failed message. I have tried all sorts: making sure phones are visibile, setting them to 2 mins ....then changing it to "yes" ...making sure devices trust connection and then asking for a prompt....taking the encryption off...then leaving it on....
I really am at my wits end as I have over 150 contacts and cannot face having to write them all out and manually type them in
I am also terrified of getting into my new car tomorrow and finding out that my BB won't pair to my in-car bluetooth set up!
    Thanks!

Not sure you can send/receive contacts via BLUETOOTH. Once the two devises are paired, then your done with the 2 minute limit and all that stuff. If each devise sees the name of the other devise, your done there. Then make sure there "connected" to each other. If not select the devise, press menu and select connect. Once that's done, your connected. Your car set-up should be just as simple. The setting about phone book entries, is for a bluetooth devise (headset, your car... things you make calls from and talk through) to have 'access' to your phone book to easily make phone calls. It doesn't copy or transfer your phone book, just has access. If your old phone has an option to "send contact via bluetooth" you'll probably have to do that for each contact and even then, I don't know that Blackberry will take it. Blackberry will however take v-cards. So if your old phone can e-mail a v-card, that would work. Blackberry can also synchronize with desktop applications like microsoft outlook and ever google mail. That way you'll have all your contacts from these locations as well. If your old phone can sync with these applications, that's another way to complete this task. This is done through your Blackberry Desktop Manager which also has a sync with other devises' so if your old phone has the ability to connect to a computer, you could try that. Many mobile phone carriers have software in their stores that help with this process and might be able to do this for you without charge.

  • Why does Apple not support the rSAP - Remote SIM Access Profile - for connection to car handsfree via Bluetooth

    Hello community,
I just ordered a new car and it comes with a bluetooth based handsfree installation based on rSAP (remote SIM access profile). I learned that rSAP is the ideal thing to eliminate the unwanted radiofrequency radiation (RFR) inside the car. Now while googleing I also learned that iPhone on iOS does not support rSAP.
I would like to point to the following page which shows some more detailed information on the rSAP topic:
    http://paulroberts69.wordpress.com/2011/02/28/android-2-2-and-rsap-compatibility /
I find rSAP a very usefuly thing, if it really brings the GSM radiation level down inside the car and allows the full use of all GSM functions by the rSAP premium handsfree kit built into the car. I absolutely do not understand why it is not already available with iOS.
From several web sources I understand that rSAP is available for jailbroken iPhones. That means, the chips inside the iPhone would support a rSAP service. Therefore my question: will it become available with iOS 6?
Or do all the folks at Apple drive old cars/brands and don't even think of the rSAP feature? Can we somehow start to get a hearing by the Apple developers? According to my knowledge, rSAP is implemented with all premium handsfree factory units of the VW brands - Audi, VW, Skoda ... This should make a relevant user base!
Any others with same wish and/or experiences? Comment here please!
    Regards,
    Olaf

    Hi Meg,
    could be several things:
    1. they forgot?
    2. none of their team members drives any VW branded car?
    3. nobody cares about the radiation inside the car?
    4. all have plugin holders for the iPhone?
I am just surprised that rSAP is offered by a premium car maker, but Apple seems ignorant about its support.
I am mostly concerned about the radiation when I use regular hands free. But I do understand that rSAP also has some limitations (only access to SIM contacts and other things, Wikipedia DE has a good full report, Wikipedia EN is much shorter).
    Regards,
    Olaf
