Sending Email whenever data is changed in PA30

Hi Experts,
Can anybody tell me....is there anyway to send emails whenever HR Admin changes the employee data in PA30.
If yes, how can we accomplish this.
Pls share your experiences....Looking forward for your valuable responses.

Email notification can be achieved either by workflow implementation or by Distribution list.
Little info about implementing distribution list is that this can be managed through configuring dynamic actions. For any field change in PA30 or any action change you can specify in dynamic actions, which can further be called by a feature where you can maintain integration with distribution list.

Can I send emails by date?
This is what I can do using Eudora. In Eudora, I can set the date I want the email to be sent.

you can use cron to run a script, or iCal can run a script, or I'd expect AppleScript could be used.
The bash script you'd use would look something like this:
cat msgtextfile.txt | mail -s "Subject" [email protected]
Or you could find a mail client tool or mail client extension that queues the mail, akin to the way Eudora worked for you. Thunderbird has an add-on known as SendTools (0.4.1) that can be of interest here, as it adds a send date to the message compose window.

New MacBook- Can't send email. I've changed ports and still the same thing

Hello. I just got my MacBook and I can receive email fine, but I can't send emails. I read the forums and was advised to change my port from 25 to 587 or 143. I'm not sure how someone determines what port I'm suppose to be using? The error I receive is that port 587 or 143 has timed out.
Please help. Thank you.

how are you connected to the internet? try going straight into your modem, could be a port issue on a router
does your smtp server need authentication? does it use ssl?
port 587 usually does work if 25 doesn't but those are the 2 main ports used, if neither works verify what port your ISP is using

Send email with attachments and change calendar

hi,
2 questions,
first how can i change the datepicker icon? i want to use something slightly fresher that i have, say an image of a calendar for example?
the second question is a bit more ocmplicated.
i ahve used the send email behaviour no prolems at all, however i need to be able to on an existing site i used to build with addt have the ability to email documents that are uploaded by addt behaviours into the site?
so at the moment you can upload, delete and view the documents. the documents are displayed in a repeating table, i need to be able to have checkboxes next to each documents name and when selected when the person clicks the submit button it email the message with documents attached to an address they specify?
any help would be great.

i am happy to try figure it out using addt, ill have a go with checkboxes next to the recordset, i could set the ticked value of the checkbox to the name of the document from the recordset and give it a go?
i think it would have been a cool out the box feature, if you can help at all when you can with trying to impliment i would really appreciate it and i think it will definately help other users at the same time.
i have to say i love addt, so sad it is not around as such. i have noticed a few users talking about php5.3 support and just want to let users know i found a site which has the includes file patched:

Can't send emails; settings haven't changed; happened after recent Update

I cannot send emails; emails go via [email protected]; settings haven't changed and comply with the Orange settings; this happened after the nrecent Thunderbird Update; I have compacted files and deleted many items ffrom the Delete box. What next?

Outlook 2011 quit sending email - iCloud SMTP server changed?

Anybody else notice that SMTP parameters to connect to Apple's iCloud mail servers have changed?
I use Outlook 2011 for Mac for my email client under 10.6.8. and today I noticed that my outgoing mail from Outlook on my iCloud mail account was hanging up and timing out connecting to Apple's SMTP servers. Had not seen this problem before. The same messages were sent successfully through Mail.app. What was the difference?
It turns out that the outgoing server name used by Outlook - previously smtp.me.com - needed to be changed to smtp.mail.me.com and I also needed to use the alternate port 587. I had used the previous settings successfully as recently as last week but it wasn't working this morning, so the change must have been only in the last few days.
Hope this helps somebody else who's frustrated trying to keep their Outlook email functioning on Apple's servers.

Send EMail when current processor changes

Dear all,
is it possible to automatically send an email, every time the processor of an incident is changed?
Via Action? What conditions should i choose etc.?

I assume that you followed the steps of this blog: Pep Up Your ChaRM - Part 1: HowTo Create a Smart e-Mail Action
However, if you want to send an email when a processor is changed, then that would involve some development work. What we did here at our company was we leveraged off of OSS note 865619. We used the BADI that was documented in here to do partner comparison, if the current processor is different from the assigned processor, then a flag would be sent to be used later by the conditions.

I was wondering if anyone can help me with an issue with Siebel. Is there a method in which if for example the service request is changed from Open to Unassigned-QA then an email is sent to a specific employee and if the status is changed again from Unassigned-QA to Assigned-QA Siebel sends an email to another employee? Is this possible with creating a new workflow? Action? or Condition?

The code which I sent you worked perfectly for me. Because, when I get the sap user id, the ADRC table will have the details like its mail id. And so, I passed the mail id retrieved from User ID.

Send designer workflow email when certain fields changed?

Is there any way we can handle SharePoint designer workflow sending email. If certain fields only changes.
Like checking with previous value and and current values, if it is different and send email. Now I am able to sending email when list item changes, it doesn't matter which field changes. That way emails are flooding into inbox.
I want send emails when couple fields changes only.
Help is appreciated

Yes very much possible to send email of specific fields change, however workflow will run on each edit but only proceed further when those specific field changes. Keep some hidden column which always will keep changed value for those column. When new value
suppose to change, check with this hidden column values, if different then send mail and update else, stop workflow.

Issue with classes to send email

My requirement is to send smartform as an email as attachment in pdf format , I done it using function module SO_NEW_DOCUMENT_ATT_SEND_API1 , but the problem of using that is I cannot change senders email id. so now I chose the option to use classes , I have a code to send email with data in the email body, I also need to add smartform as an attachment in pdf format to email.How to get this...please advise...

Workflow to send email notification to the assigned person using Sharepoint Designer 2013

Hi,
The requirement is whenever the assigned to Field is changed to someone, the assigned to person should get an email notification saying that the item has been assigned to you.
I created a sharepoint designer List Workflow to send an email notification, below are the steps,
1. Log workflow to the workflow history
2. then Wait for Assigned to be not empty
3. then Email currentItem:AssignedTo
4.then stop the workflow
But the thing is whenever any field is changed in the particular item this email triggers, I want to send email only when Assigned to Field is changed and not any other field. how do i write the condition to check only if the assigned to field is changed
or not and and how i trigger the email.
Any help is much appreciated.

Hi,
According to your post, my understanding is that you want to send email via workflow while the assigned to field value changed.
We can create a helper field
which will store the previous value of the Assigned To, then you can compare the current value with previous value of assigned to and send an email accordingly.
I have made a simple workflow demo below, you can refer to it.
I have created a new single line of text type field AssignedPerson in the list, then use the workflow below to achieve your scenario.

Sending Email from Multiple Accounts, not just one.

I have 3 email accounts set up on my iPhone, 1 Gmail, 2 two POP accounts.
For example if I get an email from Gmail, I check it in the phone and hit reply it goes out, from Gmail.
If I view an email in another POP account (NONGMAIL) and hit reply, the reply is sent from my GMail address. What gives?
If you reply to a message from another account shouldn't it go from that account? I don't want to be responding to work emails with my Gmail address.
Does the iPhone only support 1 account to send email? I tried changing the default account that did nothing using the mail client. Anyone else have this issue.

I'm having my issue. I have a gmail and an IMAP account set up on my phone.
When I have my default mail set to my gmail account, and I go into either inbox of my iphone's email application and send to a third email address, the emails appear to be coming from my gmail account.
When I change my default mail to be my IMAP account, the email STILL appears to be coming from my gmail account, no matter which account I send from.
The punchline is that, with either account set to default and sending from either account, the copy that I BCC to myself ends up being sent to BOTH email accounts.
Any idea what's going on?
