Sending Emails From Emailing List Delayed or not sent

Sent emails often do not save in drafts or sent folder. In last emailing I sent email to myself. It has not arrived yet, so it is being delayed for some reason??

Problem loading an email from message list

When I click to open an email from the list (Inbox, Sent, etc.), I get: "There appears to be a problem loading the email "xxx". Retry". When I click on Retry, I get: "An unexpected problem has occurred. Performing your action again in a few moments will probably solve the problem. If it persists, we suggest you close this window and re-launch Yahoo! Mail." It does persist, but re-launching does not help. Please help me. Thanks.

This is because the SMTP server you have configured does not permit connections from off the ISP's network. When you are connecting via EDGE this is off-network from the perspective of the ISP.

As a last resort in the US you can set the outgoing SMTP server to cwmx.com:25 with no user ID or password. This will work on EDGE only, not on WiFi.

Deleted email from my iphone it does not delete from Outlook 2007

My friend has an iphone 3GS and when she deletes email from the phone it does not delete from her Outlook 2007 account. She has to manually delete it. Outlook2007 is setup to permanantely delete from the server. Any suggestions? Thank you.

Tell your friend to get an IMAP or Exchange mail account. From what you describe, your friend has a POP account, and that's the way POP accounts work.

The comments list is sorted by page by default. If it's not for some reason, click the "Sort comments" button and select that option. It looks like this:

after upgrade to 4.2.1 there's a fake with sending sms from contact list. u choose a contact and choose send sms and.. addressee is blank or previous addressee... so if u dont look carefuly u can sand some impolite opinion about your boss thinking that u send it to your wife SIC!

IOS 8.2 - Initiating new email from contact list doesn't allow send

I have noticed a strange issue with iOS 8.2 on iPhone and iPad where if you initiate a new email from your contact list, it will not allow you to press Send because it is grayed out. This option works fine in 8.1.3 and all other options to initiate and send mail appear to work fine in 8.2. I realize this isn't a showstopper, but hopefully this will get addressed in a future OS release. In any event, support case 765105326 has been logged detailing the issue.

I had exactly the same issue, I solved it by restoring my phone to a previous backup where I still have my contacts (I recommend you do another backup before) make sure you deactivate the synchronization of your contacts with your ICloud account so you don´t allow ICloud to erase your contacts again ( do this before restoring) , Once you get your contacts back download a contact backup app, ( i bought the MCBackupPro which you can also use for free if you have less than 500 contacts). Keep them in a safe place and just be careful not to active the iCloud sync tab for your contacts on your phone SETTINGS> ICLOUD>CONTACTS TAB MUST BE OFF. Go to iCloud.com and upload your contacts file (.VCF) on the cloud so you have them backed up just in case, I recommend you do this once a month or after you add many contacts.

Trying to send email from withinn iPhoto always get message saying password not recognised even though set correct password email address within preferences in iPhoto. Believe this started when I upgraded to Lion.

I am registered with iCloud and it works fine in other applications
I am reluctant to delete MobileMe from iPhoto since if I do so I will not be able to add it again I still have photos etc in my MobileMe iDisk which I will need to move somewhere else soon with demise of MobileMe

IMessage sending messages from email not phone number/not working

I have an iPhone 5s and my sister has an iPhone 5c. She told me that my phone was sending her imessages from my email. When I go to change it to my phone number only it has it as a grayed out (will not let me select it). I turned iMessages off and then turned it back on and it still wouldn't so I tried it one more time now I get a "waiting for activation..." under my iMessage switched on. I tried turning it off, hard resetting and then turning it back on but when I go to sign in it says "server couldnt not be reached. try again" and it says that each time i try to sign in.
I guess my questions are: 1) do the imessage servers go down? 2) how do i 'activate" my imessages so it doesnt say 'waiting for activation"? 3) how do i make my imessages come from my phone number and not my email?

Associate your mobile number with your Apple ID, if you haven't already done so.
Sign out of iMessage on the Mac:
          Messages ▹ Preferences ▹ Accounts ▹ Sign out
and on the iPhone:
          Settings ▹ Messages ▹ Send & Receive ▹ Apple ID ▹ Sign out
Then, on the phone, tap
          Use Your Apple ID for iMessage
Sign back into iMessage on both devices and test. If there's no change, you may have to wait for a change in network conditions.

How did you get it running using Windows 98?
You must be using POP3 instead of IMAP e-mail protocol.

I receive certain emails from a specific address but not other emails.

I receive some emails from Berkeley Parent Network, such as Advice but not the Marketplace email. here is information from their site: Your email service may allow you to add email addresses to a "white list" that you want to accept mail from. The sender on all the BPN newsletters is "[email protected]". The newsletters are actually mailed from chignik.berkeley.edu (IP address: 169.229.248.172)

Email from selected list

Hi all,
I am designing a site for a local club which creates reports from search criteria. The customer wants to add a checkbox to each item of a given search result list which gives the option of emailing the checked boxes.
ie after running a search for managers who have passed a certain certification, I have a list of 5 names
1. bloke
2. woman
3. another
4. one more
5. last one
I need to add a check box which when ticked, and button pressed, it sends the email addresses to outlook or even a php script?? where I can write an email to all the selected people only?
Any ideas on where to start bacause i'm a little stumped?

I don't write php, but the concept is the same with any scripting language:
1) Include a checkbox with the search results. Be sure to include a name attribute that uniquely identifies the item.
2) Put the results within an html form
3) Have the form processing script iterate through the fields and either
a) add the relevent email address to a bcc: field and send the email, or
b) send a seperate email for each address in the list

How do I delete an email from my iPhone 4S, but not have the email deleted from the actual email account?

I just got my iPhone 4S and when I delete my email from the phone, they are also deleted from my email account on the computer. When I had a Blackberry, there was an option to delete from the phone only or delete from both. Does anyone know if this is possible with the iPhone and if so,m how I do it? Thanks.

Not sure what email you are dealing with but when I go into the setting for mail and choose one of my accounts I can go to the Advanced settings for that account and click on "deleted mailbox". Leave the setting for "On My iPhone" to Trash. Under "On the Server" you can change where the messages go. Default is probably set to "Trash". Change it to "Saved" (if that folder is there) or create a new folder in your email client (access it from a computer and see if you can add a folder. Then check setting on your phone to see if the new folder shows. If so, then have the emails go to that folder. I would think this should work the way that you want. Just test it out and see if that works.
