Sending files through Hyperterminal to the Virtex-5 with OpenSPARC T1?

Hello everybody,
I would like to ask you where can I find some information about using Hyperterminal (or any other telnet application suggested) to send a file to the FPGA device once the OpenSPARC T1 is already loaded. The aim is to show the difference in time elapsed between using multi-threading instead of single-threading by means of an simple application, but I can't figure out how to send the C compiled application to the FPGA device. I do appreciate any help.
Kind regards,
Rafael Ruiz & Salva Rodríguez

Thanks Tom for your reply,
I still have some doubts... Once is already booted, how do you know the FTP address of the FPGA? Could I use any FTP client to access the FPGA or do I need to use a certain application?
Thanks a lot,
Salva DJ & Rafa Pocholoski

  • Sending file through TCP/IP

    Hi all,
I would like to know whether LabVIEW is able to send file through TCP/IP. Can anyone please enlighten me on this. Thank You
    Rgds

    Hi taytay,
Of course it is possible !
Go to function palette >> Communication >> TCP ; I have never used them but here they are.
Go to Help >> Find examples.. and search for TCP, you'll find example code
You can also purchase the "internet toolkit" that provide ready to use FTP VIs to send or copy simple/multiple file(s).
    Hope this helps.

  • Trouble sending files through ichat after 10.4.7 update

after the 10.4.7 update (at least it was right around the same time as the update), my ichat stopped being able to send files to my friend. the picture or video would appear to be sending, but the next time i said something, i would be informed that it could not be sent. my friend was still able to send me files, successfuly during this time.
simultaneously, this would happen with EVERYONE on my buddy list. except one difference: they would get the file, and i would be merely informed that it had failed.
a new discovery i made today is that with the first friend i mentioned, after a failed attempt, he can no longer see anything i write.
does anyone have a suggestion as to how to make ichat be able to send files normally again? thanks for your help!

    Hi Jorden,
Try running the Cron scripts as the first option.

Then try running the combo 10.4.7 update

  • How do I send files using Bluetooth on the new Blackberry Curve 3G OS 6?

    Hello everyone,
I have recently updated my BB Curve (9300) software from version 5.0 up to version 6.0 Bundle 1478. I tried to send normal files (pics, videos or even music) via Bluetooth to another device (whether PC or another BB phone) but I could not find the "Send Using Bluetooth" option that I used to have on my old software version (5.0). Also when I tried to receive any file I could not find the option "receive using Bluetooth" that was on version (5.0). Is there any solution? How to send files over Bluetooth on the new BB Operating System (6.0)?
    Thanks

Hi and Welcome to the Forums!
Please double check the steps in this KB to ensure you are following them all:
KB05409 Transfer a file using Bluetooth technology between two BlackBerry smartphones
As you discovered, for receipt, there is no longer, under 6.0, the requirement for "Receive Using BT" step on the receiving BB.
Good luck and let us know!

  • Sender File adapter not picking the file ABCD.PRN extension file

    Hi
Am doing File to Abap Proxy scenario. My source will be in text format of fixed length of fileds 7.
My souce file will be generated by a third party machine with the extension EEE150809.PRN. In my scenario my file adapter should pick the file and update the same in ECC via a Proxy.
I have configured the Sender File adapter with Message Protocol -  Content Conversion but file adapter is not picking the file. I have checked the Communication channel and status is fine. But the same Communication Channel works for .XML file.
What are the parameters that I have to consider with the file extension .PRN using File adapter?
    Thanks.
    S.

    Hi Swarna,
You dont need to worry about the extension when picking the file. You can try using EEE* so that is picks all the files starting with EEE. If you have the fixed name then you can try giving EEE150809.*. Also EEE150809.PRN should not have any issue. Try to see in sender commu ication cahnnel for anyerrors. Probably there might be some network issues or authorisation issues. If you are reading with NFS then ask them to give necessary permissions. If you are reading through FTP check the user id and pwd you are using.

  • I tried to send "File:  / / / " through messages...

I tried to send "File: / / / " without quotes to a friend through the messages application which obviously crashed it. Now, however, File: / / /  is saved as a draft message and will crash the messages app upon opening it. Is there a way to delete draft messages outside of the app?
    <Edited by Host>

In the Finder choose the "Go" menu and press Option followed by selecting the Library. Then go to the Messages folder and remove the files that begin with "chat.db" in their names. Then re-open the Messages program.

  • Using sender file adapter to read the most current file

    Hi,
in my sender file adapter , i have to read the latest file- all files in  the source directory are named as <filename><timestamp>.txt . I need to read the file with the latest timestamp (i.e. the most current file )
How do i configure this using file adapter.
    thanks

    Hi Sreeram,
thanks for the answer- but i found that the option can only be used with NFS transport protocol. what if i am using FTP ?
alos, by date option means- files are processed according to their time stamp in the file system, starting with the oldest file.
However in my case i only want to read the latest file and ignore the older files.
    Thanks

  • Sender file adapter not polling the file

    hi all,

y is the sender adapter not polling the file..
i am using NFS as my File System....i gave the source directory as <i>d:/test_dir/</i>
is this way of specifying the source directory on a windows machine correct...
    thanks
    pavan

There is probably something wrong with the File Adapter.  You will need to go to the RunTime Workbench >> Component Monitoring >> Display >> Click on the Adapter Engine >> More information will display and click on the button 'Adapter Monitoring' >> A new window will display and click on the arrow next to your adapter engine.  This displays a list of adapters running on your system.  Green light means good; Red, you have a configuration problem.  Look at the error and try and resolve it.

InDesign CS4 can open .indd, .indt  and .inx files from earlier versions, but not from later. It should, however, be able to open .idml files saved or exported from newer versions, with the understanding that unsupported features will be lost, text will probably reflow due to differences in texts engines between versions, and that the greater the gap between versions the more likely there are to be noticeable differences from the original. You will need to be sure CS4 is at version 7.0.6 to read the .idml.

  • Skype send file through internet or internal?

Today, We have a 2 internal user send a large size file from skype. We find our internal network was very busy. How may I control the skype if send files is using internal network or internet network? Thanks a lot

I think that skype as a Point-to-Point will try to find the fastest route.
Even if used the Internet, then it will load your local network twice:
    1. For the upload to the Internet.
    2. For the download from the Internet.
