Sending html with Mail

Is there any way to get Mail to send html code?

I'm not quite sure if I get it right: do you want to know how to send html-emails with Apple Mail?
If so, open up preferences, choose tab "Compose" and choose as format of your email "formatted text" or something like that (I am using German as my system-language, so I can only guess at the exact English designations). That should do the trick.

I'm not able to send emails with mail.ru. Receiving and reading is not a problem. When I create a email with mail.ru its not possible to send it although its stored in my mail.ru account as "still to be send". What can it be??

Creating a mail is also not a problem and the mail will be stored at mail.ru as still to be send, only problem is its not possible to send. I noticed the buttons for sending change colour when used but they don't perform. What it is?

Unable to send pictures with mail from iPhoto

Have you deleted the iPhoto Preference file - A good general step for strange issues is to renew the iPhoto preference file - quit iPhoto and go to "your user name" ==> library ==> preferences ==> com.apple.iPhoto.plist and trash it - launch iPhoto which creates a fresh new default preference file and reset any personal preferences you have changed and if you have moved the iPhoto library repoint to it. Hi, i am having the same problem. this is what i have noticed.
I have 2 x imac's and 2 x macbook air's
i upgraded the 2 macbook air's and 1 of the imac's to Mountain Lion, all these have problems acessing sites that require you to login .
the one remaining imac is still running lion and works perfect.
i am using a dlink router with DD-WRT firmware, i tested teathering from my iphone and i can log into websites fine using the newly upgraded mac's.
It's not a wireless issue as my imac is using an ethernet connection.
is there a compatibility issue with some routers.

Who is your email provider? Have you set up your account manually or was it set up automatically?

Getting: Unable to send attachment with Mail Drop

Mail Drop is not working for me, I always get error message while trying to send.
Here is what happens:
-I compose a message that includes a large attachment
-I click send
-I get the message "Unable to send attachment with Mail Drop" for a few seconds
-My message is not sent and it goes into the Outbox folder.
Configuration:
OS X 10.10 Yosemite
Mail -> Preferences -> Accounts -> Advanced. The option "Send large attachments with Mail Drop" is selected.

I had the exact same problem. I finally figured out what was wrong. I believe you must have iCloud Drive turned on in System Preferences AND you also must allow mail to store document in iCloud Drive which you can check by clicking the "Options..." button in the preference pane of iCloud Drive. As you can see below.

How do I put HTML formatted text into an email I want to SEND? -- "Paste as HTML" in edit menu is dimmed, and I can't get it to un-dim... I want to paste formatted text from an HTML editor into an email... can I do this with Mail, or do I need some other app to do this?

What you can do to make HTML for Apple Mail is to make it in an HTML editor, open it with Safari use CMD+i - a new mail message will appear in a moment with the web page in the email body.
You can't do any major editing in Mail, you'll have to go back to the HTML file. But it works.
You can also use Copy (from a web page) and then (Edit) Paste as HTML (that what Paste as HTML is for, not for creating HTML email). You can also user Paste as HTML to copy/paste a HTML email you receive or part of a HTML email.

My land line is dead ... so no phone nor internet at home. But I can use my iPhone'hot spot to get on the web from my iMac. Great ... it works !
Oups ! I cannot send email from my computer using my iPhone's hot spot with Mail.
How do I do that ?

Doesn't the fact that I can surf the web with my iPhone's hot spot and that I cannot use Mail normally has I normally do give you a clue what the problem could be ?
What other information can I give you other than normally I can surf and send email with my regular ISP. Now that my ISP is dead I am using my iPhone's hotspot to surf the web awaiting that my ISP's connoection returns. Surfing is OK but I cannot send emails with through Mail.
When I want to send an email from my computer, I get a message asking me to select the the SMTP server. Then I select my usual ISP server, but the message comes back telling me it does not work.
Is there any other configuration to do ?

Just FYI, I've had the same problem for months now. I have been accessing my hotmail via the web, but decided to try the OS X Mail app. I could get emails into the account with no problem but couldn't send. I read all the blog and support entries and have tried everything they recommended, like changing my computer name to one word, without success. Then last night, it just so happened that my broadband provider had to change out my wireless modem. As soon as he plugged in the new one, some emails that had been in my outbasket for a month went through instantly and all of a sudden my Mail, both incoming and outgoing now work. So I think people need to look at their router settings for the a solution to the problem.

Many mail servers cap their message sending or receiving at 4MB. If you are sending your own work that you want distributed by someone else, check with your internet provider if they can temporarily raise that restriction and the recipient's mail server can temporarily raise those restrictions. Better would be for both of you to be able to access a webhosting site to share the material and use some FTP programs to send the file to each other. If it is an MPEG-3 of a commercial CD's music, we can't help you as such distribution is illegal.

Can anybody please tell me how to send HTML email using JavaMail. I know I need the DataContentHandler for text/html mime type but where can I find one? If anybody has better suggestions you are welcome.

App Photos. Unable to send photos with Mail on ios8.

Since i am on ios8: I can't send selected photos (4-5) with Mail. What to do to make sure Mail will send my photos ?
