Sending INVOICE as attachment in PDF for  external Mail address

HI!,
We have made configuraiton for sendin mail while saving VF01 or VF02 from SAP R/3 to external id.
Email is going to the partner Payer but the attachment of the invocie is going as OTF format and not in PDF.
Where i am missing. I have gone thro the discussion thread of srinivas talks about some coding required in Program which what is that

    Hi,
    To send it as attachment, bind the standard Business Object FIPP to the custom container of your activity in workflow. This will automatically give you the attachment as Display is the default method set for this BO.

  • Sending invoice as attachment

    HI ,
    I am working on invoice approval workflow as when new invoice is created then it should go to sales dept. for approval and once they  approve it then it should be forwaded to customer.
    But the problem is that i have to send invoice as attachment to sales dept. using workflows for approval. I dont know how to send it as attachment using workflows as their is nothing in output message for invoice bcoz that will come once it is approved from sales dept.

    U can also create a custom method in your Business Object and in that u can use the Function Module 'SO_NEW_DOCUMENT_ATT_SEND_API1'  to send the email with an attachment.

  • Can't send smartform to external mail address

    Now, after creating some self-defined smartforms, we want to send its
    PDF copy to
    our external mail address. From this point, I had some try.
    Reference to SAP Library, I make a testing program named 'YPDF_TEST'.
    However, one exception always exists when running and error message id
    is 'XS806' - means
    "No delivery to &, invalid recipient address"
    I filled the address with following fields.

    Hi,
    You can follow a different approach. Send the output of the Smartform to the spool.
    You have a Function Module to read the spool and convert it to PDF . Then there is one more function module to attach the PDF and send it as a mail.
    You need to configure SMTP in Tcode : SCOT.

    Payment advice is transfer to the external sytem. It means we need conectivity between 2 systems. I need to configure EDI settings. You need to contact the ABAPer and Basis consultant for your configuration.

  • How do I reduce a Pages file size so I can create a pdf for e-mailing?

    I recently upgraded from Tiger to OS X Leopard. In Tiger, I was able to reduce file size and create a 700 to 800kb file by going to print/color sync/quartz filter/reduce file size/save as pdf. But in Leopard those options can't be accessed from my pages print menu. Any suggestions? Thanks TH

    Another way to reduce the PDF files size is: Print > PDF, Compress PDF. As I create a PDF for e-mailing that's what I do, works well. 99.99% of folks don't print PDF's, they either file in a folder or delete. Viewing on their monitor that Compress PDF appears as it should.

    Do you mean you can send message to other external domain, but when you reply a message from external user, the NDR information generate? If so, I recommend you post the detailed NDR information.
    When you send message to external domain or reply a message from external user, the DNS MX record for external domain will be solved. If you receive a message from external domain, your MX record will be solved.

  • Attach an Excel File with Email for External Email Address

    Hi,
    I want to send an excel file to an external email address as an attachement.
    I am using the function module SO_NEW_DOCUMENT_ATT_SEND_API1 for sending the email.
    But as far as I know we can only create and send the excel file in this FM. e.g. we can put the text manually and name the file as excel and add it as packing list and send the document.
    Now, my client has a template in excel/word which he wants to send as an attachment always when he sends the mail. I have below Queries:
    1. Where and how do i store the template which is in Excel or word? He doesnt want to upload the template each time he runs the report. Can I save the file on AL11? how do i insert the file in this?
    2. I have tried standard texts, but his template contains a logo. So, I am not sure if that would work. Can I send the template in Binary and just aapend the file extension? xls or doc? would that do?

  • [SOLVED]Issue with Postfix sending to external mail addresses

    I'm having a very silly issue with Postfix. I followed the wiki article at [link]https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Postfix[/link], and everything seems to work properly, however I cannot send to emails outside of my domain.
    I get the error:

    Your main.cf seems redundant.
    For example:
    if you specify:
    virtual_alias_maps = hash:/etc/postfix/virtual_alias, mysql:/etc/postfix/mysql_virtual_forwards.cf
    you don't need this:
    alias_maps = hash:/etc/postfix/aliases
    and i think you have a lot of more options you don't need.
    This is my main.cf on my vps and everything works great (sending and receiving emails from/to most common mail server: gmail, hotmail etc etc)

    it is very simple (no dkim, no forced tls, no mailbox limits and so on) and it can be improved but it works..
    as I suggested you just try spending some hour wiping postfix installation and giving a look to this guide

    If you want to send an email with attachments in Lightswitch, you could consider using System.Net.Mail with
    Attachment Class. For example:

  • SAPConnect to Send Emails to external mail address

    I am trying to send email from SAP to an external email address.
    I've configured in SCOT the mail server and it respective port.
    When I tried to send a test message, the message failed in the queue with the log:
    "Cannot process message in SAP System - No ESMTP Plug-In Is Available for SAPconnect
    Application Server Used by the Send Process:
    S21TDI05
    (Schedule Send Process on App.Server with Plug-In)
    Upon checking the sap documentation, I encounter there's also a SMTP Service in "SMICM" as well. Inside there I can see that the SMTP setting is not activate and no values has been entered.
    Are these 2 connected?
    Advices are welcome.

    This error message means that your SMTP plug-in is not active. Go to TR: SMICM -> GOTO -> SERVICES
    Here you must see that the SMTP plug in is active.
    This error usally due to bind error. The port wich had to be used is used by an other service.
    Check if below mentioned parameters are set.

    and restart ICM . You should see SMTP service on SMICM transaction.
    In my case problem was with the below parameters. PORT=HTTPS was assigned to server_port_1. I swapped the values of both the parameters icm/server_port_1 and icm/server_port_3. Only after that SMTP service started being visible under DISPLAY --> Services.

  • Triggering multiple mails for external Mail id when PO is created

    Hi,
    I configured PO workflow and i used a standard program to send the mail to the external Mail id's of the users.
    The thing is when a PO is created the user whos has to release the PO is getting a Mail in Business Workplace through work flow and simoultaneously a mail will go to his external mail with a message that So and so PO is created please release it.
    As he cant keep on monitor his SAP Business workplace,whenever he get a mail to his external id,he will login to SAP and approves or rejects the PO.
    Here the probelm is the external mail is keep on triggering for every 15 min as we scheduled the Job for ever 15 min.
    So for the same PO number it is giving multiple mails to the external id until it is released.
    It should be like one mail should trigger for one PO number instead of multiple mails for the sam PO number.
    I'am unable to find the solution.
    Please guide me with a solution.

    1> Goto transaction SWO1.
    2> Enter Object/Interface Name as BUS2012 and click on Create Subtype.
    3> Enter the required values (you can give ZBUS2012 everywhere....only give Application as R). Place cursor on methods and click on create. Enter details and finally give name of your function module (which you would be creating with the logic of sending mails to selected users) in ABAP tab.
    4> Place cursor on method name and click on parameters and create the required parameters. These parameters would receive value from task container.
    5> Finally goto transaction SWO6 and delegate this BO to parent BO (which is BUS2012). This would enable the methods of child BO to be available to the parent one.
    Try the steps and let me know wherever you get stuck.
