  • How can I import iphone 4 videos to iMovie 09?

I tried different ways to import my videos from iphone 4 (.mov) to iMovie 09 but I had no success. I transfer the video to my iMac using image capture, then try to import the video to iMovie, but seems iMovie does not recognize the video format .mov from the iphone 4. Can anyone tell me how can I do this?
Thanks a lot for the help

I have no problems with iphone 4 video, have you edited it on the phone or anything.

  • IPhone 4 video to iMovie 09 (iMac)

I have been taking videos in my iPhone 4 and they are in format .mov. However when I transfer them to my iMac (using image capture or the iTunes) and then try to import them to iMovie09 the iMovie does not recognize the format, in other words I cannot open them in iMovie 09 for further edition. Can anybody tell how can I open those videos in iMovie? Am I doing something wrong? by the way direct transfer from the iPhone to the iMovie does not work either.
Thanks a lot for the help, this is driving me crazy.

Shortly after uploading it to YouTube (via web browser) your video will be immediately available in a lower resolution quality.
You will have to *wait for YouTube to "Process" your HD video, before it becomes available in 720p*.
It can take anywhere from 1 to several hours.

  • Importing iphone 4 video to imovie looks stretched/distorted

I imported my iphone 4 video movie to iphoto. I then saved it to my desktop. I then imported from the desktop to imovie. However, when i play it from imovie it looks all stretched out (horizontally). When i play the video from iphoto or from my desktop, it appears fine using the default quicktime. Can someone help me?

I also struggled with the same problem for a week (even though my files were .mov already). I found this steps helpful: opening the video clip in quicktime first, then Export it to a certain folder (desktop would be the easiest) using a 720p format (found on the dropdown menu under the "Save As" or "File Name" bar) and then import the video to imovie. This time, the video should not be stretched anymore.
    Hope this helps!

  • Record Video in iMovie 09 with Audio From Garageband

    Hi guys,
I'm trying to record a guitar video using iMovie 09 and am having a few problems.
I plugged my POD X3 into my Mac and opened up Garageband, I imported the backing track into Garageband as I wanted to record myself playing over it. I set the audio in both System Preferences and Garageband preferences to have the audio input and output coming through the POD X3.
I hit record on iMovie and I got the sound of my guitar perfectly but no backing track! When I tried to import the backing track into iMovie I can't get it to sync up... Anyone have any ideas?

???? Why are you hitting record in iMovie?? It has nothing to do with GB!
I thing what you want to do is: Import the backing track into iMovie and place it in the project as needed.
To record yourself in iMovie, use Voice Over:
    http://www.apple.com/ilife/tutorials/#imovie-voiceover
Otherwise, record yourself as an instrument in GB and export the combined backing track and yourself to a single audio file (i.e. Share to iTunes - uncompressed - and your recording will be available directly from the iMovie media browser). Place the combined file where you need it in the iMovie project. This gives you that advantage of having access the GB amp modeler and stomp boxes.

  • IPhone 4 video to iMovie to YouTube=BLURRY

I shot a couple videos this past weekend and went ahead and purchased the iMovie application on my iPhone. Only editing I did was adding a title. When asked to export I chosed HD. I then uploaded into Youtube and its blurry. I went back and exported it to Large (540) again - blurry. Tried Medium (360) as well and it was blurry again. Am I doing something wrong?

  • Changing speed on iPhone recorded video

I have a video recorded on my iPhone 4S. I'm working on a project that uses 4:3 ratio and when trying to convert the footage from my iPhone I get an error ( code -43)

If you want to change the wireless channel you should download and use inSSider. This will show you the channels that are being used and you should select the least congested channel.

Try "forgetting" the connection on your iphone and then re connect. It may improve the speed.

  • Importing iphone 4 video to imovie

I just filmed some videos off my iphone 4, however I'm having trouble bringing them into imovie. They're in iphoto, but don't show up under iphoto videos or my media. When I drag them onto my desktop and then import them, they show up very very wide and disproportioned. Any recommendations?

Are you still having this problem? I was too and no one online had answers so after a couple of beers and brainfood, here is how I resolved it:
~ Import the video to a folder on desktop
~ Open video with QuickTime (video will orient and display properly)
    ~ Go to File/Export
~ Change the name in the Save As box (leave the extension as is though)
~ Below at Export, Select "Movie to QuickTime Movie" then click Options
~ In the Movie Settings box that appears click the "Size..." button
~ This brings up the "Export Size Settings" box, select "Current" in Dimensions
~ Leave everything as it is and click OK
~ Click OK in the Movie Settings box
    ~ Click Save
After the export is complete, drag the new file into iMovie and you will see it is correct. You will have vertical black letterbox bars on the sides but the dimensions will be correct.

  • How do I make a DVD of my Iphone recorded videos if I have a PC?

We've been taking photos and videos with our Iphone that works great.  We don't own a Mac computer yet, just a PC.  We wanted to burn the videos to a DVD we can play and watch on a TV?  Do I need to get QuickTime Pro to do this?  I searched on the web for third party products and can't really find a straight answer on any of them.  Any ideas?  Thanks!

If you have a Mac, you can use iDVD or iPhoto.
If you have a PC, you can try Windows DVD maker.
Windows DVD Maker is included in premium editions (Home Premium and Ultimate) of Windows Vista, and Windows 7
More information about Windows DVD maker, you found here http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows7/Burn-a-DVD-Video-disc-with-Windows-D VD-Maker

  • Issues with iphone 5 video

I uploaded iphone 5 video to imovie '11.  When I insert the clips into a project and play it back, the video skips.  Is there a way to fix this?

I had the Same problems on my IPHone 5S, everything else worked fine, the 4S, the 2 IPads 3G and LTE versions.
What cured my problem, was going into the settings menu, going down the first page until I cam to Safari, going to the advanced tab, and turning on the Javascript.
For some reason it is disabled in the IPhone 5S.
Enabling it has cured all the problems I have had with streaming video from a lot of different siteds.
    Hope this helps

  • Problems Recording Video with Photo Booth

    Macbook Details:
    OS X Yosemite
    Version 10.10.2
    MacBook Pro (15-inch, Late 2011)
Processor 2.2 GHz Intel Core i7
    Memory 4 GB 1333 MHz DDR3
    Photo Booth: Version 7.0 (724)
Some background: It all started going downhill for my laptop when I got a "Service Battery" warning back in December. Thought it could possibly be a glitch from the new OS. In any case, they told me to wait it out till the Full Charge Capacity reaches the 2000s. It's currently at around 4225 and slowly steadily decreasing. I can't keep many applications open at one given time.
The problem: Built-in camera is working fine with Skype, FaceTime, etc. Photo Booth pictures are fine as well. Simply unable to record any video with PB. It will sometimes record, but during recording, the image freezes. Upon playback, the image is frozen for the entire video, and audio lags or skips around. Today it froze and actually sat frozen all day while I continued to use other applications.
Is there anything I can do??

You can't record video with PhotoBooth, you can record video with iMovie, or you can record with Quicktime if you have the Pro version. I would suggest using iMovie, create an MPEG-4 project, record your footage, drag your recorded clips into the timeline, then choose the Share menu and choose Email.
Baby footage will be on its way to the grandparents in no time!

  • IPhone 3GS Video Storage?

Does anyone know where the iPhones recorded videos get stored? I can't find them anywhere...

Nope. I just checked the camera roll in the pictures app... Nothing.

  • Which apps on the AppStore will help me remove or delete my voice from a recorded video?

I just want to know that I want to remove my squeaky voice away from an iPhone recording video, which apps, whatever iPad, iPhone, or iPod Touch, should change the effects or sounds on videos? The apps also need to be free and NOT PAID APPS.

sorry i should be more specific. i mean if it's possible to selectively remove only myvoice from the audio clip, while leaving the rest of the audio in the clip still intact? it's a video i captured at a party and i was talking during the show.... but id like to removie my voice so as not to distract from the show.

  • Sending pictures through text and recording videos with the Iphone

so yea i know its not out and idk if apple is working on it but i think it would be really cool. I'm 14 years old and i own an iphone and its like i could do more with my lame verizon phone. another thing is u cant record videos... all the money they are putting into the iphone and it can't even do some of the standard camera phone abilities. i'm just suggesting so don't think i'm like ranting about how the iphone ***** because its really cool i love it! not everybody has an iphone so not everybody's email is going to there phone and some times there are pictures id really like to send to my friends like the other day i was riding my bike listening to music and it started pouring then it let up and i saw a rainbow so i pulled out my iPhone and i took pictures and i really wanted to send them to a friend but there email doesn't go directly to there phone.
and off topic what would be really sweet would is wireless head phones lol like ugh the wires always getting in my way and id really like to just listen to music in school hehe. not like the phone thingy but and actual ear bud thingy like the white apple headphones but cut the wire off and it just sends the audio wirelessly to the head phones
    thanks,
    Bradley S. F.

You may see apps in the new App Store that will accomplish what you're looking for.
