Sending jpg to iPhone via mms not working

I'm trying to send a jpg from my email to an iPhone via mms, i'm using the correct format [email protected] but the iPhone gets an error that reads:
The part image/jpg: name=name.jpg; x-unit-mode=0644; x-mac-hide-extension=yes was removed form the message as not supported.
Any ideas?

I dont buy that answer, i can send pics to my friend that has a normal flip phone that way. I also send .3gp movie files to my iphone 3G as a work around of not being able to attach/select video file to send via mms. You can however, forward a video clip that was sent to you. Are youy sure its not a formating of the jpg files or something, im fairly certain i have sent my own phone pics from my e-mail.

I didnt notice that my MMS was disabled until after I jailbroke 4.0 update. It ***** that iphone 3g users cant get multitasking and all the good updates, but when u jailbreak IT CAN! I did receive MMS right after the update. But now, I can only get MMS if I restore the phone back to its original settings and restore it as a new phone, not my old one. I been restoring to all my old back ups all day to see which one would enable MMS again. There is no option for MMS to be turned on like it was right after I restore it. I also didnt notice that the 3G network wasnt working because I am always in a wi-fi area. Until last nite, I jailbroke and everything was find until I tried to send my girlfriend a pic and there was NO MMS option. I tried to reset network settings, and thats when I realized 3G did not work.
If I could up with a solution I'll post it!

Problem with new Iphone 4, mms not working to receive.

My Iphone 4 is not receiving mms texts, but will send them. Ive checked for updates, made sure all settings are correct and rebooted it. What else can I try before restoring? Its brand new as of 3 days and has never received mms.

IPhone 4S MMS not working

Hasn't worked since the day I got it - the day it came out, but hasn't bothered me until now when I actually need to send one. I can receive but not send - I've turned it on and off, checked all the settings and called O2, but no luck.
Any other ideas?

After looking at my original post, I realize that I have neglected to mention something important...and would like to apologize to those who have offered their help. I am using my iPhone 4S with Straight Talk. I thought I had mentioned this in my original post, again...I apologize for misleading/misinforming you all. I know that this probably has something to do with the MMS issue, but I still posted here bc I'm not the only person using their iPhone with Straight Talk's service and assumed there were others out there scratching their heads with the same trouble.

IPhone 4 MMS not working on straighttalk

I have an iPhone 4 iOS 6.1.3 with straight talk.
When setting it up I downloaded the APN profile from unlockit.co.nz. My mobile Internet is working fine, but I can't send or receive MMS. Also it will only send texts to people that I already have a conversation started with. If I try to start a new conversation they will not receive it but if I go back through my messages and open up a previous conversation I can send it through that. This isn't a very big deal for people that I already text (I can just save a conversation and use it) but I can't text new people without asking them to message me first which can be tedious at times.
Any help with either problem would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

I believe it may directly have something to do with the OS phone application itself. Maybe there is a bug hindering the app from accessing the Mic? I have been working on this for a while and can not seem to fix the issue, so I am to believe that there needs to be an update pushed out to address this issue with the Mic. A couple of days ago I went back and reset the enitre system again and when everything came back up I did a test call on it and it work for about 2 seconds and then completely stopped working again, so I am pretty sure this is not a hardware problem. However, I do realize that with a brand new OS bugs need to be worked out and that this is common, but this issue needs to be fixed!

Have you lost the iPhone, or are you just testing this feature?
If the device is offline it will not be able to recieve the remote lock request.
There is not much you can do if this is the case.

You usually copy the screenshot to the clipboard and paste that image in an image editor program like Paint. Then you can save the image as a .jpg or .png file.

A couple of other things you can try -
With my 2010 Ford Fusion (and SYNC) I received the same not optimized message a few times. There were several things I had to do but eventually, I got it cleared up. Not sure exactly how this will translate to your Toyota but maybe it will.
- Try resetting the iPhone via a power off/on or a hard reset where you hold the home and power buttons. Then power back on and plug into your USB port.
- In my case I had an issue with SYNC in my car where I needed to reset the USB port in my car. Not sure if Toyota has something similar. The fact that you said it won't charge makes me wonder if the USB port got disabled in your car. This happened in my car and an easy reset for me was to remove a fuse for a few minutes and replace.
- Update your iPhone in iTunes and resync it there. Then try connecting again in yor car.
- Delete and re pair your iPhone from your Toyota system

Have you checked that the dock connector port is not dirty?

The iPhone 4 may not work with a cut down SIM. Get a microSIM from your carrier when you set up service.
