Varalakshmi,
In your partner profile we20 , you can set the agent who should receive the failure.
Please check the tab post processing permitted agent.
The agents should be maintained in the transaction PPOME.

    Hi All
Alert framework that we have helps us in generating alerts at PI/Adapter level. Incase the IDOCs fail to generate from ECC(incase of ECC-PI interface), how do we generate alert mails?
    Thanks in Advance

If you have a basis guy, just stick it to them. If you have to work out yourself..
Above is the outline... although seem to be step by step..  If you have access to ADM 106 book very helpful, otherwise there are outstanding sims at http://service.sap.com/rkt  --> Solution Manager --> Solman 7.0 --> select technology consultant -->
go through Service Desk Auto-Reaction Method for Non-SAP SolMan CEN and relavent sims in that area.

  • Workflow to send mail for purchase requisation and approval msg which automatically updates sap

I am new to workflow,I need to create work flow for purchase requisation and send mail for concern person for approval, like if he clicks approve in mail ,automatically it should get updated in sap if he rejects then he should enter reason for rejection
    pls help...

    Hi Surya,
SAP had provided you with a standard WF template for PR. You only have to activate it. The workflow template is WS20000077. In this what you have to do is, make all the tasks in this
WF as a general task. For that go to each activity and double click on the task ID. Then from within the task go to menu Additional Data->Agent Assignment->Maintan. Then slect the task and press Attributes and select general task. This will ask for a customizing request. Do this for all task.
The give event linkage by going to the Basic Data of the workflow and give binding. This will fulfill
    your requirement.

  • Why we r not Creating Sender Agreement For HTTP & IDOc Adapter at Sender .

    Hi Buddy's,
Why we r not Creating Sender Agreement For HTTP & IDOc Adapter at Sender .And why we create receiver agreements at receiver side bt not sender agreement at sender side.
Wat Is GLOBAL Container ?, where it will Occur & wat is the functionality of that.

    Kumar,
    1) XI integrattion server - IS expects the messages in XML format. If you see the HTTP request you will see that we pass all the info contained in the Sender areement in the the HTTP request itself , namely - Message interface, message type and the namespace (along with login parameters). For IDOCs the the IDOC- XML are are sent to the IS (through IDOC port configuration at the source system.
    2) When send a message to XI the sender knows that XI system parameters, but when at the reciver end there could be any any system that is reciving the IDOc/HTTTp message. you specify those message through a commumication channel and this channel is associated to a receiver agreement.
    3) A Global container is like a place holder for variables. You can set a variable here and access it throughout your mapping and hence the name.
A good example for a gloabal container is a counter to countthe number of records in te target side.

  • To send a mail for failed login attempts,.

We have to implement the mailing system in linux.,to send the mail regarding failed login attempts and ip address of user who attempted the failed login.,any one have the idea on this?
    Regards.,
    Vaaru

Running an old beta version of RHEL is a bad idea. If you are concerned about security and operation of your OS I suggest to use a more recent release version. You can download, install and use Oracle Linux for free.
Mail processing of failed login attempts is not a good idea and to my knowledge there is no such built-in system setting. I suggest you read the standard documentation or search the Web for information on how to set up a mail system. You will probably need to create a custom script to process failed login attempts.

  • TS3276 Well it happened again. Why does my apple me account stop sending mail for no apparent reason. One minute it is working find and 10 seconds latter you get error messages that it does not recognize your password. I am really fed up with the mail sof

Things were going well. Mail was working fine and then the following error message appears out of nowhere. I had not changed any settings. From that point on all efforts to send mail failed, and the error message appeared even thought I used the password to log back in after I quit. Now, an hour after the problem started it takes my password (on the second try after the error message appears) once and sends a test message. Then, one minute later it gives the error message again and refuses to send anything. Why is mail so inconsistent? What can I do in the future to address the problem?
Error message reads "The SMTP server "xxxxx" rejected the password for user "xxx" Please re-enter your password or cancel.
When mail does work again. Should I click the remember this password in keychain or am I just asking for more trouble?
I'm writing this using my IMac computer in a different room. The error also occurs on my powerbook running my new MacBook Pro 12 inch.
    Fed up Mac user.

I"m no expert but this used to happen to me all the time (stop downloading, asking for my password, nothing downloading, walking away- 24 hours or more later, all is fine, only to later start all over again)
Well, i gave up for a long time and stopped using that account with mac mail and only accessed it online..recently went and changed the pop3 to only pop and now it works beautifully and seamlessly. Don't ask me why or how, but it does so thought I'd share.

  • How to Send Emails for failed messages without using Alert

    Hi Experts,
In our project, we need to trigger Emails for the failed messages in SXMB_MONI / Adapter Engine without using Alert Framewrok.
Please let me know the below :
    1. Is this really possible to avoid Alert?
    2. If possible, then can we accomplish this by creating any PI Scenario? Please provide me some knowledge.
    3. Can we do it by writing any ABAP Code? If ABAP report can make it, then please provide me the code/ tables which will be needed. If any Blog/ Wiki is there, then please let me know the URLs.
    Thanks,
    Nabendu.

    Hi Nabendu,
If your customer asks for mails with specific text for message failure, tell that it is not possible. Because Message will go through several engines like Adapter Engine, Integration Engine, BPE. You can not generate mails for the message failures in all these areas with out standard alert mechanism. These are pure technical alerts which only PI people can understand, not business alerts.
Example: assume your sender channel is unable to connect FTP Server, in this case you can not generate even though you will develop adapter module to generate alerts.
So for message validation only you can send mails not for message failures.
    thanks,
    madhu

  • Setting Up Mailserver to received and Send Mail for external Network

I have a G5 currenty running 10.3.9 Server with Mail services run and working fine, we are upgrading to 10.4 Server and would like our Sales Reps the ability to send and Receive mail from outside the office. How do I configure my server, Router, ISP and/or Mail clients to do this??? we are currently able to recieve mail from outside just not send.

  • Q: Send Mail for TRADITIONAL CHINESE_TAIWAN.ZHT16BIG5

I have an oracle database 8.1.7 , NLS_LANG is TRADITIONAL CHINESE_TAIWAN.ZHT16BIG5 and Using Pl/sql Package to send mail, I can't send Chinese from mail package, This is my problem.
    null

The original SMTP protocol requires that the email to be in pure ASCII. To send email in Chinese, you may either use 8bit-MIME extension (if your SMTP server supports it, which is supported quite commonly these days) and send the email as-is, or encode your email that contain non-ASCII in one of the few MIME encoding scheme (e.g. Base-64, Quote-Printable) so that the encoded form is in pure ASCII.
The following is an example that send email using 8bit-MIME extenstion:
    Rem
Rem mb_smtp.sql - Demo program to show how to send non-ASCII (including
Rem multi-byte) e-mails over the SMTP protocol using the UTL_SMTP package.
Rem It requires the remote SMTP server to support 8bit-MIME SMTP extension
Rem (which many SMTP servers support nowadays).

    You have Database Control.
Database Control can already do this.
Why do you want to remain in the Stone Age and continue to use scripts?
Why do you want to reinvent the wheel, when the functionality is already there.
Agreed, you would have to read documentation and/or help text, and you rather don't want to do that.
Which is the exact cause why you want to reinvent the wheel, and pay Larry for functionality you don't use.

  • Sending Mail Internally Fails

Has anyone had issues sending mail internally with OCS and the Inbound SMTP Server just fails? Every couple of hours, sending mail to other internal users fails. I can stop the Inbound SMTP Server but it then fails to start. I either have to create a new Inbound SMTP Process which will start sucessfully, or restart the Box.
I have tried upgrading the 10g Database to 10.1.0.5 Patch 11 with no luck. My OCS Version is 10.1.2.2.0
    Thanks!

    Never saw this before.
Could you set the logging of the inbound and outbound smtp process higher and tell us what's in the logfiles?
