I send out meeting notices from Ical to nonOutlook and Outlook users. The nonOutlook users respond and I see the green check mark in my Ical Meeting. The Outlook users also respond but I see a gray "?" as if they didn't respond. Has anyone had this issue and if so, is there a fix? I'm currently running OS X 10.10.2 Thank you in advance for any help you can provide.
SteveNo get this: I received a reply from another Mac user using iCal 4.0.4 showing "event accepeted" in the subject. But my iCal 5.0 will NOT recognize his acceptance. What is going on?

How to send a mail that appears as meeting dialog in MS outlook?
Hi:
Is it possible for the mail adapter to send a mail that appears as a meeting dialog in Ms outlook? If yes, could you please tell how to do it? Actually I'm developing my own module. Thanks a lot.if writing a module does not help you...I would suggest you go for a Java proxy for sending this mail and refer to this link for creating a Outlook meeting request using Javamail.

Outlook does not send meeting requests at all.
Hi all
My problem is both annoyingly simple and frustratingly annoying, but so far i haven't been able to solve it, nor has our IT department.
In short, my Outlook doesn't send meeting requests to invite attendees. (My colleagues, same exchange server) I am the only one having this problem. When i send out a meeting request, it appears double in my calendar (asking me to accept) but nothing shows
up in my sent items, nor in their calendar. If i delete the event, this is sent out; new ones and updates are not.
To my knowledge, I use the standard IPM.Appointment form, but have used another standard form in the past (which was removed.)
A new profile doesn't help, nor does uninstalling / reinstalling Outlook 2007. I installed Outlook 2010 - same phenomenon.
It has worked all the time, but stopped working about 10 months ago, no apparent cause.
I should add that I can send out meeting requests through Exchange from my iPad and iPhone, just not from my computer. (and no, they are not related - the time i got iPad and iPhone everything worked)
OS is Windows 7 Professional 64 bits, MS Office 2010, various applications installed but none related to calendar useage / sync / ...
I am local admin, this is my work PC so no 'dubious' SW installed, nor authorised.
According to the server guys, there is nothing exceptional like the forms attached to my account - they claim it's something local, but also have no clue what it might be. Even Mr. Google or Ms. Bing do not provide an answer, so i'm hoping someone here might
outsmart everyone else and come up with a solution.
(ps - i'm quite sure it isn't "stupid user error" either, I'm an IT specialist/consultant/developer - but this one baffles me and everyone looking for it...)
Added info - on my PC, when logging in with a different account but connecting to my own exchange account, it works.
Replacing forms related info from the user/appdata folder of the functional user towards the non-functional user account didn't work. (even though the information was different)
No difference in the registry as i can see.
Tried to add ForceFormReload to the registry - no use.
I activated logging, also nothing in there.
I also receive no error whatsoever, it really is like Outlook simply isn't configured to send out meeting requests anymore...
Also, no errors in the event viewer in case you were wondering.
When working offline, it is clear that the meeting requests simply do not enter the 'outbox'. (cancellations do)
Assuming it might be a corrupt DLL somewhere, i scheduled a Chkdsk C: /F/R this evening. A long shot, yes, but grasping at straws here...
Thanks in advance for your help,
Kind regards,
Dennissolved - completely uninstalled, reboot
removed all keys in HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\14.0 (the entire folder)
removed all outlook related registry keys in HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\11.0 and 12.0, also in 8.0 and 9.0
removed HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\Outlook completely
rebooted
installed Office Pro2010 again, and now it works.
so in short - there was a messed-up registry key somewhere in there, that was missed by installing it, or even completely reinstalling it.
FYI - all my settings remained the same, no info or config loss except the colour profile i used...

Transferring Outlook meeting notices (ics files) to iCal
Hello,
When I receive an outlook meeting notice in Mail the ics file does not show up as an attachment. If I look at the same email in my web account the ics meeting notice shows up and can be downloaded and added to ical with no problems. Is there a way to get the ics file to show up as an attachment in Mail or to have it load in iCal properly? Thanks for the help.
DougIs there a solution for this problem. Since I am using Mail I have the same problem. As long as I used Eudora this problem didn't occur.
TIA,

Good evening,
I am having trouble sending meeting requests from my iPhone, iPad and Mac computer. If I send the request for 10am, the appointment is received on the blackberry and samsung as 9am (I have not tested other phones). I have tried all the timezone settings which all seem correct...
If I receive a meeting request from my colleagues, the problem does not exist, so I assume that my timezone settings are correct.
Thanks.Hi Rory,
According to your description, my understanding is that you want to use Exchange email for Google Calendar.
There are two articles for Integrating Microsoft Outlook and Exchange with Google Apps, please take a look at:
Integrating Microsoft Outlook and Exchange with Google Apps
Migrate from Microsoft Exchange
In addition, as you are using Google apps, I suggest you ask Google support for help.

ICal crash when viewing meeting notice
When I view a meeting notice sent to me by someone else and then press done or try to copy a section of the notice Ical just closes. Request for report comes up and I send to Apple. Any one else had ths proble, Its frustrating if you need to get web links from a meeting notice.
Yes: you have to open the item to see date and time. I have the same strugglre and find that multi-day meetings are shown only in the start date, ie no bar according to the period of time is drawn ...
There are multiple threads in the discussion forum, dating way back into 2007 ... so the issue seems ongoing! -
Sending appointment from ABAP to Outlook
Hi.
I would like to know if there is a way to send appointment/meeting requests to MS Outlook from SAP (ABAP).
I know how to send Email from SAP to Outlook with/without attachments using the "SOI1" Function-group, but I don't think (or I didn't find it) that they support Calendar actions.
Does this exist in SAP with ole?
Currently I'm on 4.6c, but we are going into Upgrade project in few months to ECC6.00.
Thanks,
Manosh.Hi,
We use this for some of our email stuff, and you have access to the Outlook Object hierarchy, so i would assume this would also allow you to create appointments, as well as anything else in outlook.

After Skype for Business: Meeting Options set in Outlook are not used in the Meetings
Hi everyone,
after the Update from Lync 2013 to the Skype for Business 2015 Client, I noticed that the Meeting Options you can set within Outlook (for example who needs to wait in the waiting room, is not used in the actual meeting.
Although the settings are persistent within Outlook, for every Meeting I currently must make sure that I am starting it before everyone else and set the same settings again within the meeting with the SfB Client.
Can someone confirm this behaviour? If yes, is this already known and a fix under way? Especially when you invite externals, sometimes I appreciate it if I need to approve them to pull them into the actual meeting instead of everyone just joining in midst
conversation or while you are preparing something.Hi,
Would you please elaborate the "actual meeting" (Meet Now?)?
If you mean actual meeting to be Meet Now, it is the normal situation. The SFB meeting options set on Outlook will not affect the setting by Meet Now. You need to set the meeting option through SFB client when creating a "Meet Now" meeting.

Sending emails with attachments through outlook 2003
Hello,
I have recently switch from cablevison to Fios. With Cablevison, I never had a problem with email. However, now I am having problems sending emails with attachments using outlook 2003. I have called Verizon and we troubleshooted the problem and they feel this is a Microsoft problem.
I can send email's without attachments through outlook and verizon.net, but I can't send emails with attachments through outlook, I can send them though verizon.net. All my settings are correct for sending and receiving email.
I called Microsoft and they say it a Verizon problem...
HELP, does anyone have a solution?????
Thanks
Len628Which antivirus software do you run on your computer? Are there any errors posting? Have you shut off any email firewalls temporarily to attempt to isolate your issue? Do you have outlook 2003 on more than 1 pc in your home? Have your tried to attach a small text file and send it to see if that goes thru successfully?

Preventing reply/email for meeting notices
Is there a way to prevent an automatic reply to sender for meeting requests ? Everytime I get a meeting notice emailed to me (not via BES) and I "accept" the meeting, the original meeting organizer gets an automatic email from blackberry curve indicating -- I've accepted the meeting notice.
Note: I've set-up my phone/BB to by linked with my personal email account, however I have my work meetings forwarded to my personal email account (that is liked with my BB). I want my work meeting notices on my BB but don't want the meeting organizer at work to see my personal email name.
Thanks.ok, then just ignore it.

ICal sending Meeting Notifications for old meetings.
Apple needs to bring iCal and iMail up to par with outlook. When I have my iCal preferences set to delete events older then 180 days, iCal sends meeting notifications to outlook users that sent me the original meeting. It is pretty embarrassing to have a meeting notification sent to someone for something that occurred months ago. I have had to resort to changing the preference to never delete old events. This needs to be fixed ASAP.
davald,
Perhaps Mail/Address Book/iCal are confused in regard to addresses in your "My Card," or your "My Card" needs to be refreshed.
Quit Mail/iCal, and open Address Book, then click on the card with your name, and select Card>Make This My Card. If that selection is grayed out, add a new card, make it "My Card" and delete the old "My Card." Make sure that you list all of the email addresses that you currently use. Then log in/out or restart.
If none of that proves helpful, go to Mail>Window>Previous Recipients and remove your old email addresses on that list.
