Sending photos from PC to iPod w iCloud?

So, according to Apple you can send photos to your iDevices from PC and the other way with iCloud, from iPod to laptop works, but when I tried to send from laptop to iPod nothing happends. Maybe I put the photos in the wrong folder? Which folder should I put them in?
Both laptop and iPod are on the same WiFi network.

I have an Ipod touch, I simply want to add some photos from my pc (which is not a mac, I`m running Windows 7) to my ipod, I thought I`d be able to do this through `ICLOUD PHOTO STREAM` but I`m not having any luck, can anyone help??? Each time you use iTunes to sync photos from a computer, it sets the non-Camera Roll photos on the phone to match the current settings/selections on the Photos page of iTunes. For example, if you have previously selected 2 folders or albums to sync from the computer and want to add a 3rd, you need to select all 3 before you sync. That will add the 3rd folder/album and will also add any new photos that are on the computer in the original 2 albums. It really isn't what I would think of as a sync since it is one-way -- it will move photos from the computer to the phone but will not move in the other direction or have any other affect on the photos on the computer. It is a sync in the sense that it will keep the selected folders on the phone in sync with those folders/albums on the computer (i.e., if you add to or delete from the selected folders/albums on the computer then the same changes will be made to the phone).

How do you send photos from ipod to photo website (i.e.Kodak) for printing? I'm copying all the photos from my PC to my ipod (to free up hard drive space on the PC). Once I do this, how do I use the photos on the ipod, i.e. printing, emailing?

I'm pretty sure that you'll have to transfer them back to your hard drive to print or email them.
Also, do yourself a favor: back up you photos.

It's only difficult if you get all emotional over tiny things and don't stop to look for answers first. I find Macs very simple to use.

I used to send photos from my Lumix Tz-40 camera directly to my iPad using the camera's WIFI. It was all working well until I installed IOS7. The connection no longer works. The camera still keeps the iPad in its connection history. The camera's wifi network still appears when I select a WiFi network from the iPad but the Wifi status icon never appears on the iPad. So the connection is never made.

You're running an old version of Safari. Before troubleshooting, try updating it to the latest version: 6.0. You can do this by clicking the Apple logo in the top left, then clicking Software update.
You can also update to the latest version of OS X, 10.8 Mountain Lion, from the Mac App Store for $19.99, which will automatically install Safari 6 as well, but this isn't essential, only reccomended.

I have not idea how you do it with Picasa but with iPhoto you either export the photos to a desktop folder and upload from there or burns that folder to CD - or from the upload window use the media browser in the lower left hand corner of the upload windows - media ==> photos ==> iPhoto

Sending Photos from Lightroom to Photoshop

Hey guys, when I send photos from Lightroom 5 to Photoshop (CS6), make changes and return to Lightroom, I will see a new frame with the changes I have just made. However, I notice that I lose my original enhancement settings from Lightroom. In other words, the enhancements on the photo are still there, but the sliders from the right hand tool bar have all been reset. Basically all the changes have been 'baked in' to the photo, so I can no longer make modify/delete the enhancements I originally made. This is particularly important when working with brushes.
Is there anything I can do to preserve these modifiers as I go back and forth between Lightroom and Photoshop?

But with other image types, including those previously externally edited from LR, you can also "Edit original" and "Edit a copy" - these options retain whatever LR adjustments are active, avoid baking those in to the external edit, and re-apply them once again, to the saved result of the external edit.

From my camera on my iPad, I select a picture and then want to forward it to someone via email. The email comes up but the picture is not there and I cannot type the email address. Any suggestions?

I don't know why that is happening but you can send photos from the mail app as well. If you tap and hold down in the body of the email area you will get a black options bar that has insert photo or video as an option.
To troubleshoot the photos app, try closing or completely, and reboot your iPad.
Go to the home screen first by tapping the home button. Double tap the home button and the recents tray will appear with all of your recent apps displayed at the bottom. Tap and hold down on any app icon until it begins to wiggle. Tap the minus sign in the upper left corner of the app that you want to close. Tap the home button or anywhere above the task bar.
Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider if it appears on the screen - let go of the buttons. Let the iPad start up.

Sending photos from iphone, email bounces every time.

When I got iLife 08 last week and published my gallery, everything worked fine including sending photos from my iPhone, and they would show up on my gallery. For the last two days when I tried to send a new photo from my iPhone to my web gallery I get an email that bounces back and says...
"...Relaying denied, try authenticating"
All other mail sends fine, but from my iPhone sending directly to my webgallery it won't work. How might I fix this?

I've come across with the same problem. It worked up until the last two days. Now when I try to send an email to my web gallery to update a photo from my iPhone I also get an email bouncing back saying "...relaying denied, try authenticating..."
I made no changes to my web gallery prior to this happening.
I deleted the existing gallery and created a new gallery. I get the same response when trying to upload an email from my iPhone.

Sending photos from I photo by email to a pc user. all of my settings say jpeg but she is receiving them by png

trying to send photos from iPhoto by using the email tab on the bottom right hand side of screen. They show Jpeg but when she receives them they are coming through as PNG. Is there something on my end I should do different?

Sounds like the issue is on her end. A workaround would be to Control (right) - click on the image file in the Finder and select Compress "XXXX" from the contextual menu.
That will create a zipped version of the image file that you can send.
The receipient will have to unzip the file before viewing it.

Quick way to send photos from Mail

Is there a quick way to send photos from my iphoto library from the Mail application? I heard that 10.5 will have a photo browser as part of email but I was wondering if there is a way in Tiger? Maybe a third party plugin or something like that.
