Sending Po with file attached

Hi gurus.
I'm facing following issue:
Customer requires send PO to vendors with files attached via DMS.
Is there any standard solution to do that? or will be necessary develop an ABAP program?
I'll really appreciate your help.

Please check the settings for your distribution types based on the following information:
1. 'File processing'
Please verify that you have maintained the correct value '2' in the field 'File processing' for the used distribution types (INT, RML,..). You can check this in customizing under:
Cross-Application Components >> Document Management System >> Document Distribution >> Distribution Type >> Define distribution types
2. Activate Type-Linkage:
If those actions won't help to solve this issue you can also check if the flag 'Linkage Activated' for the entry 'DRAW CHANGED DISTRIBUTION' in transaction SWETYPV to get the workflow running.
Afterwards please re-activate the workflow templates WS20000104 and WS20000137 once again to realise this changes.

I had a similar problem in that my wife's iphone 5 could not send pics with imessage. Had to set the settings to default to SMS or whatever. After laboring many hours on the web I coincidentally was on the phone with the internet people to question my internet speed. They changed the router channel, which is something that I am capable of doing myself. After that, the pics go over imessage. My own Iphone didn't have the problem. We are both latest IOS 7.0.6.

hey, apple mail serice is sending mail but not sending mail with files atteched.

Hmm. Looking at the Apple UK support site, it shows a yellow dot for .Mac mail, but says the issue is with incoming mail:

Not sure if that has anything to do with it or if there are other issues.

Interestingly enough, they suggest using your ISP's SMTP server for outgoing mail:

Have you tried that? You should still be able to send as your .Mac email, but have it sent through there instead.

Cannot send emails with file attachment greather than 40kb

Hello,
we have an issue with our Z10 devices.
Emails are not beeing sent with a file attachment greater than 40kb.
After sending it pops up an red exclamation point.
Z10 Firmware version: 10.1.0.4181
Blackberry Enterprise Service 10
Microsoft Exchange Server 2010 with activesync enabled
EMC -> Exchange ActiveSync Mailbox Policies: Sync Settings -> No limitation for e-mail size and maximum attachment size

I have the same environment as you and do not have the issue with my Z10 on OS 10.1.0.2019
Maybe a call into BlackBerry support is needed.

Can't send mails with file attachment

I can't send any mails from my iphone 3G with file attachments.
If I try to send a picture I have taken with the iphone the mail just won't go out. It says 3 mails not send at the bottom of the mail app.
Normal mails work fine.
Any ideas how to fix this?

I access two email accounts with the iPhone's Mail client and I've never experienced the same.
If no change after an iPhone reset, which is done by pressing and holding the home button and the sleep/wake or on/off button simultaneously until you see the Apple logo and then release - ignoring the slide to turn off prompt when doing so, try deleting and recreating the accounts on your iPhone.

This doesn't look like a problem with Firefox, but with the attachment that you are putting on the email is blocked. You can read the link the error message gave you, which basically says that :
"ade", "adp", "bat", "chm", "cmd", "com", "cpl", "exe",
"hta", "ins", "isp", "jse", "lib", "mde", "msc", "msp",
"mst", "pif", "scr", "sct", "shb", "sys", "vb", "vbe",

Gmail won't accept these types of files even if they are sent in a zipped (.zip, .tar, .tgz, .taz, .z, .gz, .rar) format. If this type of message is sent to your Gmail address, it is bounced back to the sender automatically.

Take a look at the documentation of FM 'SO_DOCUMENT_SEND_API1' for parameter PACKING_LIST. I think you should set t_packing_list-head_num to a different value than 0 for the second attachment.

Sending mail with excel attachment-improper format

Dear experts,
I am sending a mail to outlook with an excel attachment. The mail is sent with attachment and the data, but all in one cell.
I am using SO_NEW_DOCUMENT_ATT_SEND_API1. What parameters do i need to manipulate to have data in different columns of excel? I am using "packing_list" table of FM. But dont know the exact parameters to be passed. Can anyone help with the same please?

And also the Utl_mail is very slow. Its using RAW type.
I can use the javamail package to solve this problem, this javamail package needs to download into server from there you can attach thus documents into mail. But I want fetch the documents and ate the same time I want attach to a mail. Like yahoo attach or msn attachment.

File Sender adapter with File content conversion

I'm having problems picking up a flat file that has some junk characters in the file.
I'm usign a file sender adapter with file content conversion. The adapters shows the following error-

There is not much in the file content conversion. This is a fixed length file, I'm just pickign it up & passing it to an inbound proxy. All my processing is in the proxy.

Do you use a specific "encoding" like UTF-8 or ISO-8859-1 in your Sender CC?
To be simple, Encoding is linked to country, you can find all "iso-nnnn" via google or some of them in sap help.

Acrobat 9: Error when PDF form submit with file attachment

Hi all,
Hope you can provide some help with my PDF form submit issue. I am getting this error "There is no PDDoc associated with this CosDoc." in Acrobat 9 (Reader and Pro) when I try to submit a PDF form with a file attachment field (the file is specified). The same PDF form works fine in Acrobat 7 or 8 (Reader and Pro) with file attachment.
If no file attachment is specified (user did not select a file) then the PDF form submits fine in acrobat 9. The form data submission format is in FDF. Same problem if I change to XFDF.
There are no differences in the problem if the PDF form is created in Acrobat 7 or Acrobat 9, the same submit issue exists in Acrobat 9 but not in the older Acrobat versions.
Is this a known issue and are there any workarounds/solutions?

Workflow Step 'In Process'- Send mail with PDF attachment

Hi,
have to send mail with PDF attachment.
I have written a function module with following steps,
1. Convert SPOOL number to PDF using Function Module 'CONVERT_OTFSPOOLJOB_2_PDF'.
2. Send mail with PDF attachment using Function Module 'SO_DOCUMENT_SEND_API1'.
The Function Module is giving required output when tested and called in the report(Background Job).
When I call this Function Module from Method-> Workflow Task the Workflow steps status is 'In Process' and not ending.
Could you please help me on this??

How are you sending this message. Is it a message that you create and send Internally with an attachment.
As you reply me, please also check if the <b>Attachments folder</b> has been set under <b>Administration > System Initialization > General Settings.....Path Tab</b>
SBO tries to copy the attachment from the location you select to the Path defined for Attachments.
