Sending Telephone Directory, Pictures and Music from Nokia 2330 to Palm TX

I'm trying to connect my Palm TX to a Nokia 2330 Classic to send telephone numbers, pictures and music to my Palm. There is no problem using bluetooth to dial from Palm to Nokia 2330. Now, how can I send my info from 2330 to my Palm TX? Any ideas anyone?

I don't think iTunes has a conversion tool.  There might be third-party apps out there, but one sure-fire way to do it is to burn your tunes to a CD, then re-rip them back your PC as .mp3 files.  A little clunky, but it's a way.

Can I store and see my pictures and music from my iPhone or iPad?

The answer to this is NO.. with modifiers.
You can store your music and photos on the Time Capsule.. which I do presume is what you mean.
However the TC is not a media server.. it is a dumb as a board file device. And ipad and iphone are not files devices.. Apple has tried hard to remove that layer from you.. albeit you can buy a file browser app.
So iTunes must be running on the network in order for you to access your music or pictures..
Using the TC merely as hard disk storage area is not wise.. it was not designed to do it.. and for iphoto at least Apple says don't do it.
The way to share itunes and photos in the network is using home sharing.
How to share music and video with iTunes - Apple Support
There are heaps of articles on sharing on the apple website.. just google home share itunes.
Now you could put your itunes library on the TC but you would gain nothing.. a computer still must be turned on.. and it will be slow and not able to be included in the backups.
NOTE.. Apple says you will eventually corrupt iphoto if you put it on a network drive.. it must be local.

I've recently got a new iPhone 4S and I want to transfer the pictures and music from my old iPhone to this one. Is there a simple way to do this? If there is could you possibly give me a step by step answer - thank you!

Everything should be on your computer.  Is it not?
Just sync it to the new iphone.

  • What's the easiest way to transfer all my pictures and music from my old PC to my new Mac?

I just recently got a Mac and wanted to know the easiest way to transfer my pictures and music from my PC to my Mac.

Welcome to the Apple Support Communities
The best and easiest way is by using Windows Migration Assistant. Apart from that, this app allows you to transfer other things, that you can check in this page > http://support.apple.com/kb/ht4796 You have also the steps to transfer your data to your Mac in that page.
If you don't want to use it, just copy your music and pictures to an external drive and transfer them to the Mac

  • HT6114 after i migrate my pictures and music from my PC to my Macbook Air, how do i access that info? does it have something to do with changing the user?

I wirelessly migrated successfully my pictures and music via Wi-Fi from my PC laptop to my new Macbook Air but I don't now how to access that info. The space was used up on my Mac Air, but can't find music or pictures. Does it have something to do with changing user and if so what do I do when I change it. I think I got that far but got stuck.

  • HT201250 how do I restore my pictures and music from the back up external drive.  My machine has been serviced by apple and now I can't figure out how to reload the music and pictures.

looking for idiot proof directions on how to restore my pictures and music to my iMAC.  It was services and the hard drive cleared of my files.  I've reinstalled office 2011 and am now trying to ficture out how to get the pictures and music back.  I backed up the machine prior to the service call, but don't seem to know how to restore the pictures and music.

It all depends on how you made the backup and with what application.  How was the backup created?

    Hi,
You can only recover files/data have not be overwritten. Normally you have to pay for a software such as Getdata or service to recover data/files but there are some free products:

    Good luck.

  • How can i get my pictures and music from my ipod to my itunes library after having to get a new computer where none of my file exist

please help i dont know how to do this and i dont want to loose my pictures or music that is on my ipod and not my computer i had to restore my windows and i lost everything but its still on my ipod touch 8 gb

It has always been very basic to always maintain a backup copy of your computer.
Use this to put everything back.
The music and pic sync is one way - computer to ipod.  The exception is itunes purchases.
If for some reason you have failed to maintain a backup ( not good) then you can transfer itunes purchases:  Without syncing - File>Transfer Purchases
If the pics are pics taken with ipod, then you can import them as you would from any digital camera.  otherwise you can e-mail them to yourself.

  • How to download pictures and music from Ipad (no Itunes)?

Hi.. a week ago someone broke into my home and they stoled stuff (inlcuding my macbook). The only photos I still have are in my Ipad.
How can I download these photos to another mac (not the ones taken with the camera, but the ones synced with my stolen macbook)?
Unfortunately, the available mac that my mom lended to me is from 2007 and the OS is less than 10.5, which is requirement for the latest Itunes (needed for my Ipad2).
So as you can see I am in trouble. Is there a way to download the pictures (and/or music) without using Itunes?
    please Help.!

    Backup, backup...
Some of the information below has subsequently appeared in a document by turingtest2: Recovering your iTunes library from your iPod or iOS device - https://discussions.apple.com/docs/DOC-3991
Your i-device was not designed for unique storage of your media. It is not a backup device and media transfer was planned with you maintaining a master copy of your media on a computer which is itself properly backed up against loss. Syncing is one way, computer to device, updating the device content to the content on the computer, not updating or restoring content on a computer. The exception is iTunes Store purchased content.
iTunes Store: Transferring purchases from your iOS device or iPod to a computer - http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1848 - only purchases from iTunes Store
For transferring other items from an i-device to a computer you will have to use third party commercial software. Examples (check the web for others; this is not an exhaustive listing, nor do I have any idea if they are any good):

  • HT1414 I have Windows and I am trying to download stuff like pictures and music from my laptop, but it's not letting me. What am I doing wrong?

I am currently try to download music from Rhapsody to my daughter Ipod Touch 4th Generation. I have made the Apple ID: and went through the whole thing, but once the Ipod is plugged into my computer it doesn't show up in my media. What am I doing wrong?

You have to import the music into your iTunes library and then sync it to your iPod

  • Do I need to move my pictures and music from snow leopard to an extrenal drive before updating to maverick

do I need to put my pic's and music on an external drive before updating snow leopard to maveric

Not absolutely necessary but backing up the system before doing the upgrade is definitely a good idea.
Most likely everything will go OK but its always nice to have that insurance policy in case anything goes wrong.
Also be aware that once your iPhoto libraries (if that is how you have your images) are updated to the new version of iPhoto they will not be readable by the old version anymore. So if you have other systems still running the old iPhoto you will not be able to open the libraries that get updated in the old version.

  • My pictures and music from a dead Imac are on an external hard drive. My Windows 8 sees the hard drive but not the data. How do I get the files to my PC?

    this is confusing

    Hi Bob.
I was actually confused in trying to navigate where to ask the question in the first place within the Support Community framework. I've been away from the Apple world for many years now and obviously this world of technology moves very fast, yes? So that's the reason my opening query mentions confusion.
Before I visited here I spent quite some time Googling the topic finding tons of answers going back MOSTLY 6-8 years all of which were fairly specific and geared toward now obsolete versions of the question or assumed my Apple computer was up and running or I had an "unformated" external hard drive.
I didn't find anything wrong with the advice to use MacDrive but of course I was hoping not to have to use my credit card to do this------------what has to be fairly routine process. After I Googled "alternatives to MacDrive" I found a free ten day trial run for Paragon. It worked for all the picture files but can't see the old movie or music. I'm still working it out. Maybe I'm missing something. Anyways it's hard to communicate with experts who seem to want you to already be on a certain level or they will simply leave you in the dust with their "help."
