Sending tracks to multiple buses in A3

Hello!
I'm stuck with sending tracks at multiple buses in Audition 3, I just fail to find a way. Say, I need to send a track to 2 buses with a "small reverb" and a "huge reverb", and adjust their wet amount. I remember that it was pretty easy in Audition 1.5, but here all I seem to have is just an option to choose one bus and one control button to change wet\dry balance. I've googled the problem and looked through the manual, but I'm still not sure.
Thanks in advance.

Generally sending to multiple busses means that you are over-processing...
Generally it's easiest (and most logical) to do this in the mixer, with the send settings twirled down to make them visible.

• Track CST to Bus CST: Cant Copy and Paste?

Hello everyone,
I'm using a Track CST on an audio track, and would like to move it to an Bus so multiple tracks can use it. However, I'm not able to copy and paste the channel strip settings from a track to a bus! Why?! Am I doing something wrong? What's the easiest way to get around this?

Thanks. This will work, though I wonder why its not possible to simply copy and paste channel strip settings, regardless of the track type? I'm going to send logic a feedback, as this seems like an oversight.
Thanks for the help though!

• Routing to multiple buses

Hi, I'm trying to understand routing to multiple buses, so I'm posting a couple of screens shots. These are taken from part of a project which was provided in a Logic workshop I attended.
So: *Channel Strip-1*
http://www.flickr.com/photos/greenmusic/5357073052/
Have I understood correctly:
+the signal from this track is sent first to Bus 2.+
+Then Bus 2 sends it to Bus 3.+
+Then Bus 3 sends it to Bus 4.+
+Then bus 4 sends it Bus 11 where there's a Limiter.+
Which means that whatever inserts are on each Bus are added one at a time ? ( These buses are missing from the part of the project which I have ).

Have I understood correctly:
Both Scratch and Bass are individually sent through Buses 2, 3 and 4.
Both end up on track 11.

No, the send pot is at -∞, closed. Nothing is sent.
+Then Bus 2 sends it to Bus 3.+
No. IF the send pots were open, they simultaneously/independently send to those busses.
+Then Bus 3 sends it to Bus 4.+
No.
+Then bus 4 sends it Bus 11 where there's a Limiter.+
No, the whole track is routed DIRECTLY to *bus 11.* Whatever you do or don't to busses 2, 3 and 4 has no influence on what happens at *AUX 1* (bus 11's terminus). Inversely, if you would close AUX 1, everything that is sent to bus 2, 3, 4 will still be sent. So those settings don't influence each other in any way.
Which means that whatever inserts are on each Bus are added one at a time ?
I don't quite get that, but the answer must be no.

No.
Scratch is on Track 24. Its output is *Bus 11,* so it'll go via *bus 11* to *AUX 1* thru the Limiter to *Out 1-2.*
Bass is on Track 11 and goes directly to *Out 1-2* and has nothing whatsoever to do with Bus 11 and AUX 1.
Track 11 and bus 11 are two different things that happen to have the same number.

• Sending mail to multiple recepient

Hi Friends ,
I am trying to send mails to multiple user .
for this i have created a method in the bus object . for testing i have done the coding liek this
data : begin of EMAILID occurs 0 ,
userid like adr6-smtp_addr,
end of emailid.
EMAILID-userid = '[email protected]'.
append EMAILID .
EMAILID-userid = '[email protected]' .
append EMAILID .
SWC_SET_ELEMENT CONTAINER 'emailid' EMAILID.
END_METHOD.
can u tell me how should i define my 'emailid' variable which i am gng to export from the method .
Can anybody tell me how to map this parameter to the mail to send it to multiple users .
Thanks
ROhit

Hi,
CONTAINER-VALUE = "mail ID"
CONTAINER-ELEMENT = 'NAME_MULTI'.
CONTAINER-TAB_INDEX = '000002'.
CONTAINER-ELEMLENGTH = '014'.
CONTAINER-TYPE = 'C'.
APPEND CONTAINER.
U need to write this method in background .Below that write a mail step . In the mail step under Expression give this container element name. Before that from the background step u need to bind the multiline container back to workflow via binding.
Reward for useful answer!

• Sending Tracks to Busses

From the clueless newbie file:
I must be missing something incredibly simple, but I can't get tracks to route through busses.
I have a 7 track mix. I want to send tracks 1 & 2 to bus 1, and tracks 6 & 7 to bus 2 so I can adjust the levels of each bus to get a final mix.
I added a send to tracks 1 and 2 and set it to bus 1. I added sends to tracks 6 & 7 and set them to bus 2. All sends are turned on and the volume/pan settings are at default levels. Nonetheless, the bus controls produce no results. If I reduce the volume of bus 1 to its minimum, tracks 1 and 2 ar still heard. Likewise for bus 2 and tracks 6 & 7.
If I switch the track outputs to none they simply turn off, even though the busses are still set to outputs A1 & A2. If the tracks output to 1/2 and I set the busses to None, there is no effect.
What gives?
thanks
Rich

All replies are much appreciated. It seems to me that you're right, Muzak - that the busses would give me more control - but I'd already directed the tracks to the different busses in the effects tab, as you suggest. I sent track one and two to the "dialog" bus and tracks 6 and 7 to the "music" bus. But manipulating the bus volumes did not change the final mix...
Routing the tracks to outputs instead of busses seems to have worked. I now have tracks 1 and 2 directed to the 'dialog' output and 6 and 7 to the 'music' output, and I can use the volume sliders to control the grouped tracks.
But I still don't understand what a bus is for, or why it's different from an output... it seems like (as Muzak implies) that I should be using buses and not outputs for these submixes. Would love to have some more info.
thanks to all,
Rich

Hi Arpit,
Take a look at the documentation of FM 'SO_DOCUMENT_SEND_API1' for parameter PACKING_LIST. I think you should set t_packing_list-head_num to a different value than 0 for the second attachment.

Simple Mail Transfer Protocol RFC 5321 specifications.
RCPT TO:<forward-path> [ SP <rcpt-parameters> ] <CRLF>
The first or only argument to this command includes a forward-path
(normally a mailbox and domain, always surrounded by ">" and "<"
brackets) identifying one recipient. In other words, you can only define a SINGLE mailbox address at a time. Multiple addresses requires multiple repeats of this command verb, once per maibox.
Do not confuse this and the To: tag line in the Mime header that contains a comma delimited list of recipients. That tag line can contain anything - it is not parsed, not checked, and not verified as matching the actual recipient mailboxes as specified via the RCPT TO verb.

I am not able to send messages to multiple person from my iphone 5s after updating to ios 8.1.2. It shows message not delievered

Hi waqaskhan91,
Thank you for visiting Apple Support Communities.
If you're not able to send text or iMessages to certain contacts after updating your iPhone, start with the troubleshooting tips in this article:
iOS: Troubleshooting Messages - Apple Support
If you only see this behavior with a few contacts, you may want to try these steps first:
If the issue occurs with a specific contact or contacts, back up or forward important messages and delete your current messaging threads with the contact. Create a new message to the contact and try again.
If the issue occurs with a specific contact or contacts, delete and recreate the contact from the Contacts app. Send a new message to the contact.
Best Regards,
Jeremy

• Can't send emails to multiple recipients any more?

Yesterday I had to send an email to some 30 other people (I only do this occasionally).
It refused to go and I received this error message:-
I have several email accounts but each one was the same.
At that time I could not even send single emails but incoming emails were unaffected.
Later in the day I received this email from my ISP mail account.
Your emails may be blocked – please confirm your alternate BT Yahoo! Mail addresses
Dear Customer,
You’ve received a ‘553’ error message because we’ve upgraded your BT Yahoo! Mail account security to help protect against ‘spoofing’ – when people use alternate email addresses to disguise the real sender, possibly to commit fraud.
What you need to do
We need you to take a few minutes to confirm each of the BT Yahoo! Mail alternate email addresses you use are genuine. If you don’t, you might get more ‘553’ error messages and have problems sending emails. Just log in and follow these simple steps. We don’t ask for any personal information.
This is rubbish and I had a similar one last year which I ignored, as the simple steps were far from simple, and the following morning all was back to normal.
So I ignored this email and tried again this morning.
I was still unable to send emails to multiple recipients but now I can send single emails OK!
Any ideas what is going on?
Is it Mail's fault or my ISP's?

From the error message, it looks like there was a problem with at least one of the addresses ("NONE"). It is possible that a bad address is in the list you tried to send to.
I don't know anything about BT Internet, so I can't confirm the authenticity of the email you received.
You should be able to log into your BT account directly from the web without using any links sent in the email.
The email also seems to indicate you used an alias as the reply-to (from) email address.
You didn't mask out the username for your smtp server and it is definitely different from the from account. This may all be normal, but it does tend to match what the email is telling you.

• How do I send mail to multiple groups simultaneously in Mavericks?

Recently updated to Mavericks, and I used to be able to just add a contact group to the BCC field. I can still add a contact group to the BCC field, as I have searched up till this point, but my issue is adding multiple groups into these fields. I thought a solution might be to make one huge group, but I use different groups for different things constantly, and combine and alter them continuously.
How on earth is it that I can no longer email multiple groups simultaneously? There has to be something I'm missing!!

I did this and the recipient gets an email From: Me and To: Me.
If you are sending email to multiple recipients by bcc, the recipients should not be able to see the other recipients you are sending the mail to. However, they will see who the email is from which is you!
What is confusing me is how are your recipients getting your email if it's not addressed to them but to yourself?
Have you tried rebuilding Mail?
Which version of OS & Mail are you using? Asking because your system profile is showing you are using Snow Leopard yet, you posted in the ML forum.

• Is ther a way to send music to multiple airplay speakers on my ipad without having to use itunes

Hello all, l have a question that relates to air play and my ipad 4.
ls there a way to send music to multiple airplay speakers with my ipad 4 without having to use itunes as the master controller on my other PC. l know it is possible with itunes, but surely the ipad should be able to play to more than one airplay device at a time, we are living in the year 2013.
Is there an alternative and if there is not, could someone please explain or point me in the wright direction why it is so!
Thank you all in advance for your comments

Yes there is and I'll be happy to email you how. [email protected] is my address.

Hi
I am facing same error. I am using standard workflow API to create and assign a role functionality for sending notification to Multiple users.
Error Message = ORA-06500: PL/SQL: storage error
ORA-04030: out of process memory when trying to allocate 16328 bytes (koh-kghu call ,pmucalm coll)
Error Stack =
Wf_Directory.AddUsersToAdHocRole
I would appreciate that if know what could be the issue.

• IPhone 5 iOS7 - Sending text to multiple recipients.

I have recently upgraded from my trusty iPhone 3GS to an iPhone 5 with iOS7. The phone is locked to the UK O2 Network.
When abroad multiple recipient text could be sent incurring a European Text Message Cost of 6p per recipient. So far so good. Idid not use data when I was abroad as I had the Roaming option off.
When back in the UK I tried to send Multiple Recipeint texts only to find there was a problem.
The recipeint received a message saying that I had sent them a Media Message without the text being included. I incurred a 33p cost per multiple text instead od the texts being free.
I have never paid for texts before as I am on an unlimited text tariff.
Any suggestions other than sending each text individually.
O2 seem to be aware of this issue.
Is it an iOS7 issue, or an iPhone 5 issue?
This was never a problem with my iPhone 3GS.
Many thanks.

I have just read this on the Apple Site:
"iOS: Understanding group messaging
Learn about group messaging.
You can send a message to multiple recipients using SMS, MMS, and iMessage.
Group messaging allows you to send messages to multiple people and have any responses delivered to everyone in the group. Group messaging works with iMessage and MMS.
If you send a message to multiple recipients without group messaging in use by the sender and all recipients, an individual message will go to each recipient using either SMS or MMS. Responses to these messages will be delivered only to the original sender in separate messaging threads."
This would suggest that Multiple Recipient Text do not necessarily need MMS.
It would seem that unless MMS is prevented then Multiple Recipient Texts will default to MMS.
I have switched off data and have been able to send Multiple Recipient Texts which the recipient has been able to read as texts.

• Question regarding sending email to multiple recipients

Hi All,
I am creating a workflow that will send an email notification everytime a new campaign is created. I've learned that R16 is capable of sending emails to multiple recipients, the only concern I have is I can't find any doumentation on how to do it. It is stated in the R16 Administrator Preview Guide that you can select 'Specific Email Address' and enter multiple email addresses directly, I tried to enter multiple email addresses separated by comma - [email protected],[email protected],[email protected] as an example, but it doesn't work and prompts me to enter a valid email address. Could anybody guide me on how to enter multiple email addresses once the 'Specific Email Address' is selected or how to do it in the expression builder to define the expression that will define the list of emails. I know that using group email addresses can be used as an alternative to this requirement but I hope theirs a way to do this with workflows.
Thanks,
Wayne

According to the R16 Admin preview guide;-
"Send Email to Multiple Recipients
Expression Builder is now linked to the email address text field that is presented when the Specific Email Address
option is selected. Workflow administrators can enter multiple email addresses directly, or click the "fx" icon
beside the field, and use Expression Builder to define expressions that evaluate to one or more email addresses.
The benefit of this feature is that emails can be stored on any text field in the base record and multiple emails can
be sent using one workflow action. "
But how that works exactly is not clear, I have tried commas, semi-colons, spaces, apostrophes, doublequotes, to separate and try to establish the correct syntax without luck.
Bob - Perhaps you can do some digging and find out the correct syntax for multiple addresses?

• On OnPremise, Sending email to multiple recipients doesn't work with SendEmail method

Hi,
We are creating a site collection on OnPremise from App by using Sharepoint Client API's (16 version).
After creation of site collection, we are sending an email to all site collection administrators. But we found that email is being sent to the only first person mentioned in the "To" list. For sending email we are using following method "Microsoft.SharePoint.Client.Utilities.Utility.SendEmail()".
We tried different scenarios by passing alternately domain username and email address.
Here are the findings for the different scenarios for the "To" field:
1) "domain\user1; domain\user1" => sends email to first user
2) "[email protected]; [email protected]" => sends email to both emails (at least shows in inbox To field, two occurances of email)
3) "domain\user1; domain\user2" => sends email to first user
4) "[email protected]; [email protected]" => sends email to first user
Here is the code we are using:
EmailProperties properties = new EmailProperties();
properties.To = to.ToList();
if (cc != null)
properties.CC = cc;
properties.Subject = subject;
properties.Body = body;
Utility.SendEmail(context, properties);
context.ExecuteQuery();
Please let us know what is going wrong here.
Thanks in advance for your valuable inputs.
