Sennheiser MM 100 takes calls only on left speaker

When taking calls with my Sennheiser MM 100 (connected with iPhone 3GS) i can only hear the voice of the caller on the left speaker? Is that normal? Can I change that?
Couldn't find something about it on any search machine, help is appreciated!
Thank you!

  • Analog to digital: sound is only in left speaker, but I want it in both

I converted an old VHS tape to digital with my digital camcorder and imported it to iMovie. However, the VCR only had one audio output, not two for Right and Left. I tapped into the left (as I could only do one or the other).
Now, all my sound only comes through the left channel. I know the video will not be stereo, but is there a way I can get sound through the left and right channels?

Hmmm, I'm afraid this may be a lost cause. Is there really no way to simply make the movie mono instead of stereo with iMovie? The suggestion of using QuickTime didn't work for me, as I described above, but I found a way to accomplish the same result wih iTunes. The problem is, first off, this seems really hokey to have to go through so many steps, in different programs, just to make the sound mono. Secondly, when I import the (now mono) audio back into iMovie, it will be very difficult to make it sync up perfectly with the video. Multiply this task with about twenty or more clips, and it will be very time consuming, and likely to have audio that does not match perfectly with the video (which is simply not acceptable). Is that really the best (only) way to get the sound to come out of both speakers?

  • Mic works not when I get a call only on loud speaker

If I get a call I sound like I am on the other side of the world though if I turn the loud speaker on my sound to the caller is fine. What can I do?

That worked. Mute button had turned the volume off. I was so frustrated, that I  was about to throw that phone on a wall and get a new one (grudgingly). This helped a lot. Thanks stedman1.

My wife's iPhone 5c only plays through the right speakers in our 2014 Toyota Prius, whether through Bluetooth or USB.  My iPhone 5c works great.  Anyone have a similar situation?

thanks tom...i know vo is mono and i will ASSUME that when i burn to dvd with only 1 channel say a3 and a4 empty with both meters equal and pan set to 0 that idvd will NOT take this single channel and put it only on left speaker....

  • My left speaker is not working properly, and also making a crackling sound.

I just bought this computer about a month ago and already having problems. Such as my computer shutting down on its own and now the speakers just started today. It is only the left speaker that starts cracking and then goes completely out, onlt hearing the right side speaker. This is the first time I have ever purchased an HP, and I may have to return this and go back to using Dells.

I even had this too, try to go to sounds your speaker and adjust the left and right speaker, the left speaker without the right makes a crackling sound, the right speaker is opposite of that.
If this cannot work try to go to a computer technician to fix the problem
I'm actually want to fix this through a technician, but he's the one to fix the speaker.
    Hope that's alright.

  • Left speaker no sound, no wi-fi, hang up after first or second booting then blue screen appears

hi there! my laptop always hangs up everytime I open it. Sometimes it open up after minutes of waiting then gradually hangs up before blue screen appears. I had to long press the start button again and again before I could use it.
By the way, there are times I had to switch into safe mode and found out that the audio is not working anymore. During normal mode, only the left speaker is operational. Lastly, wi-fi signal will constantly disappear after rebooting.
    please help

    Hi,
Have not seen any reports of negative experiences (unlike recent Microsoft updates) from the last batch of Windows Updates.
I would guess you have a coincidental hardware problem.
A failed HDD would yield an error at boot. You would still be able to boot to the BIOS if you desired.
Normally failed devices (memory, GPU, CPU) will give audible and visual error codes. Exceptions will always happen.
Could be the battery, power supply, or maybe the motherboard has bit the dust. You will probably receive no visual or audible error messages when the motherboard fails.
    Try booting with one monitor.

  • Trouble pairing my Sennheiser VMX 100

Anyone else have issues pairing the Sennheiser VMX 100 with the iPhone 3G?
I bought one last night and charged it overnight. Today, I go through the pairing process and the Sennheiser appears to turn itself off as the phone is trying to pair.
Called Sennheiser but they appear to be a shoelace operation with their salespeople doubling as tech support. The woman there was kind and is trying to get an answer and promised to call me back (not sure if I should believe that or not).
She mentioned that she thought there was another step I am missing.
    Thoughts?

I had some dificulty with the VMX I also purchased. Probably no instructions didn't
help (not that I would have read them anyway), in any event I learned that if I start my 3G first and then held down the button on the VMX until the icon appeared on the 3G
everything works fine. If you take your finger off the button too soon the icon will disappear before the connection is made. If you listen to the earpiece during this you will hear a beep or two and then an increasingly louder sound indicating it is connecting
and does the reverse when disconnecting. I've found this to be a very good earpiece unlike
the $300+ Bang & Olufsen I purchased previously that only lasted about six months! Failing
this working you may have to go to: Settings/General/Bluetooth and make sure Bluetooth is "ON"
and hopefully you will have your device listed.

  • 100 concurrent calls

    Hi,
I was thinking about 100 concurrent calls and I have used TAC bandwidth computation for this. Based on the computation I need to have a T1 link.
What if I can't afford to get a T1 link and atmost I can only get a 512kbps.
Will it still support 100 concurrent calls or once it consumes the bandwidth succeeding calls will be dropped?
    Hope you can answer this.
We need to implement VoIP but I'm still trying to understand it.
Any other advice ot tips is highly appreciated.
    best regards,
    Pablo Jose

Callmanager has a concept of Call Admission Control (CAC) that determines the number of calls allowed on a link based on your Region and Locations configuration. Regions determine the codec used and therefore the bandwidth used per call. Locations determine the total bandwidth available for a given link. When this bandwidth is exceeded, subsequent calls are denied. Without CAC, you could have 100 calls on a 512k link, but the quality of all calls would suffer. Take a look at the following links.

  • Function in select statement need to be called only for the last record.

    Select state,
    local,
    fun_state_loc_other_details(19) details
    from state_local
    where pm_key=19
    resuts:_
    State Local Details
    AP APlocal details1
    UP UPLocal details1
    MP MPLocal details1
    i) The above query returns 100 records
ii) fun_state_loc_other_details is also getting called 100 times. But I want this function to be called only for the last record that is 100th record.
is there any way to do that?

    Thanks amatu.
One more small query. Can I do it on condition based.
    Select state,
    local,
    fun_state_loc_other_details(19) details
    from state_local
    where pm_key=19
Like if one state it need to be called once.
    AP -- 50 records
    UP - 20 records
    MP -- 10 records.
    fyi: this record no. varies
I want the function to be called for AP once, UP once, MP once.
