Sensors updates aborting

Hello,
I noticed that the last couple of days I was not getting sensor updates. When trying to manually download the updates I got the following error message:
"Specified user is not authorized for downloading file IPS-CS-MGR-sig-S392-req-E3.zip. Operation aborted."
Because of this I am not getting specific updates.
I have been able to download successfully in the past. Any ideas why this is happening?
Update: I also noticed that it seems to be downloading all the .zip files again after I already have them and is literally taking hours to do. Not sure why this is happening.

Yes, I can manually download the signature package via my CCO login.
The issues is my daily auto updates via my CSM. They aren't auto downloading, applying and deploying, so I'm pretty sure it's not an issue with my IPS devices, however, this is my show stat host info:

I know you are going to ask I have updated everything last time and it is all as update as it can get.
As for now as I wait I am going to wipe my phone again and just set everything up again !! If I have to even my contacts AHHHH Help I am starting to think crazy thoughts

Did you try to eboot the your PC or laptop where your device is connected ?
I experienced this with my windows laptop, after a failed to do an update, I restart the laptop and my Torch, then retried, and it's worked

Broadcom Location Sensor Update

Yesterday's Windows update gave me the optional "Broadcom Corporation - Location Sensor - Broadcom GNSS 4752 Geolocation Sensor" update. The link for information on the update was broken, but I installed it anyway. GPS still works Anybody know what the deal with this one is??

Well saw the same update & I now have drver 20.21.8778.18 dated 12/4/2014 but Localizer is working fine and not having any problems.

BPEL sensor update to BAM: unknown runtime exception

Hi,
In my proyect I have a BPEL with several sensors that first insert a data object in BAM 10.1.3.3, and later update it with process stats.
In a BAM Report I could see the inserted Data Object, but when I am expecting the update information it only appear several "unknown runtime exception" in red text in the foot of the report. But when I make a manual refresh or reopen the report, I could see the dataobject with the updated info OK.
Also, in the Architect I always see the data object with the info OK.
I think that are some problem with the Report Engine, but in the log don`t have info about this exception.
Anybody has any idea about this error?

I think the Report had some problem. I made the report from the scratch with the same data object and the exception disapear.

Itunes update aborts - error "signature could not be verified"

I have attempted several times to download and install the latest iTunes update (11.2). The install keeps aborting with the error message "itunes signature could not be verified." I tried downloading only, and still get a similar error message. Please don't ask me for the error message number - I didn't record it.
I am running iTunes on Windows 8. I've been able to install previous updates since migrating to a Windows 8 machine. Is this a known issue? If so, how do I solve it?

I notice this has happened with previous versions of iTunes as well as previous versions of Windows. I don't see any posts as yet about 11.2. Am attempting to download via the Apple website as suggested in replies to previous instances of this error. I will let you all know the result. I'd really like to know WHY this happens! Is it related to iTunes or Windows? If someone could explain in reasonable layperson's terms, that would be helpful. This is obviously a known issue for quite some time (posts going back to 2010-2011); why hasn't it been addressed? We should be able to download iTunes updates from within iTunes!

Scheduling IDS Sensor updates CiscoWorks VMS

I have CiscoWorks VMS setup to auto download new IDS signature files, this works great, however is there a way I can have those signatures automatically installed to my sensors?

Automatic update of signatures is possible with FTP or SCP. You will have to first download the updates from Cisco on to the FTP or SCP server. The sensor will automatically install them.

Sensor Updating hits errors

Hi,
Recently, I replaced my self-signed cert on the MC due to its expiry. Subsequently, all sensors were updated with this latest copy of the self-signed cert. However, each time I update the sensor signature, I got an error msg
"TLS Trusted Host Certificate difference found, updating sensor certificate for the MC.
The trusted certificates on the sensor <IP addr> have been updated".
Then the update failed with an error msg
"The host is not trusted. Add the host to the system's trusted TLS certificates".
Any helps will be greatly appreciated.

Try this:
Login to your sensor;
sensor# configure terminal
sensor(config)# no tls trusted-host ip-address
sensor(config)# tls trusted-host ip-address
If this does not solve your problem, you may have to remove the old certificates from the sensor. For that you may have to use the 'service account'.

I tried this method already. The problem is that there is no such thing as 'BlackBerryDesktop' but instead I just have 'BlackBerry'. And also, there are no 'Logs' either.

Brillaint update process Aborts then restores and fails.... what now

Ok so plug in my Ipod touch that i really dont use all that often into my laptop itunes recognises there is newer software.
I accept to update, it backs up and then tries to update, aborts half way through
It then tells me theres a problem (really) and it suggests a restore which i accept, not much on the ipod touch, so not much harm can come....
Wrong during restore it fails again, i get a msg from itunes telling me so
and now the ipod wont even turn on. blank nada nothing, removed from the computer and re-plug and now windows just tells me theres a device plugged in it doesnt recognise and tells me its 'malfunctioned' and itunes wont pick it up either.
anyone shed some light down my tunnel.

Told me to ring support, after support spent 15 minutes confirming what i already knew (it was dead) i have to send them to it and they will replace it.
Satisfactory end i guess but really it was only a firmware update.....

Signature S371 Update Error

I'm trying to update my sensor to S371 and receive the following errors. I am updating from a VMS director to a 4240 appliance. I was able to update to S370 successfully. Any help is appreciated.
I am attaching the test in a file in case of word wrap mangling.

Yes, it is a bad package, not just a problem on your side.
In the process of removing it right now.
I'm not sure of your setup, but the s371 sensor package from here:
http://www.cisco.com/cgi-bin/tablebuild.pl/ips6-sigup
can be used to update your sensor(s). this would however leave you with an out of sync sensor version to CSM sensor version issue.

An error occurred while I was updating my Ipad

I got an error when i was updating my ipad and the update aborted itself and now my itunes wont recognize my ipad and my ipad has been restored. My ipad just sits there with the "plug into itunes" pictures and my itunes doesnt recognize it. I have done everything else ive found, change usb port, use different cable, uninstall and reinstall itunes, i cant think of anything else. Please help, thanks.

Timeout problems trying to update to iOS 8.1

iPhone 6 was updated to iOS 8.1 on the first day of release. It took more than ten hours (!!) but it completed.
However I can't complete an update on iPad 3. Five or six attempts in several days have all gone the same way: the update starts, asks me to accept the legal stuff, and download begins. An estimate of time required appears - I've seen estimates from 3 hours to 16 hours - but after 1-3 hours the update aborts, says the server has timed out.
I have reset and hard-reset (I think*) the device. I've also tried a Restore through iTunes, same timeout error. There is more than 15Gb of free space on the device. Nothing wrong with internet service here... everything else including an experiment with downloading an 11Gb file across the internet has worked fine and as fast as expected.
Can I do anything to make this process complete? Mine is a 64Gb WiFi + Cellular, Model A1430 / MD368C/A, already running iOS 8.02.

* Instructions found online for hard-resetting the iPad with the Home and On/Off buttons have appeared to go through the steps but the device still contains all of my apps and data. Is there a way to factory-reset the device and wipe it clean before trying to update it to 8.1?

Two more attempts since posting this. One failed with a 9006 error, so Microsoft Security Essentials was turned off on the PC (never been a problem before). The next one failed with another server timeout error.
All 7-8 failed attempts have been with the iPad wired to the iTunes on PC. About 8-9 Apple devices have been updated this way for years. Desperate to try anything, I unplugged the iPad and told it to use its wireless connection to update itself. THE 8.1 UPDATE COMPLETED IN ABOUT 20 MINUTES!
I've spent HOURS on this! iPad connected wirelessly to the exact same router and network that it has been plugged into during all previous attempts! NOTHING on the PC was changed since previous successful updates (including iPhone 6 to 8.1 just a week ago).
The Apple is losing its shine.

funny. I also made a 2 player snake game a while ago.

and i also tried to make it multiplayer. (i think a lot of old arcade games have a good multiplayer potential)
I didnt get very far. I guess that was because i went way to fast. (i wanted a lobby, server, ....)
after a while i tried again. i made a 2 player space invaders type of game. AND IT WORKED. the game isnt complete yet (no sync, hit detection or score system) but you do see the enemy ship move and shoot.
this game consisted of 1 application that can act as server or client.
1 client enters a port number (serversocket) and waits, and th other an IP an port number (socket) and connects. after connection the game starts.
i had a TCP/IP connection. a string would be sent over the socket with every move ("left","right","stop","shoot")
i can put some pieces of code here if you want it?
or i gan give the .java file.
im not working on it anymore. i now use it as a template for bigger projects.

Error Message on Updating Software

Hi there
I keeping getting the following error message when trying to update my BB software on my BB Bold 9900 using MacBook Pro:
BlackBerry® Desktop Software failed to validate your BlackBerry® device update. Aborting install due to validation failure. Some packages contained unsatisfied dependencies.
My BB Messenger seems to have disappeared but yet is still installed on my phone so I was trying to force an upgrade re your suggestions on some of your other discussions
