"Sent from my Blackberry" Footer Removal

How do you remove the automatic footer at the bottom of every message sent from your Blackberry that says "sent from my Blackberry"?  I've searched all the help features on email and sending messages but can't find out how.  I had a Blackberry a couple of years ago and was able to remove it and replace with my own message.

Called a "signature". Sign in to your carrier BIS site and make the changes by editing your account settings.

  • Customize "sent from a blackberry"

I have a .mac email account and was told I could not customize "sent from a blackberry"
Is is true? Or is there another way to do it.
    Thanks!
    Solved!
    Go to Solution.

If you've configured your account in BIS and removed the auto-sig yet one remains, then it is being appended by your .mac service after the outbound email leaves BIS...which means there's nothing that BIS can do about it since it is beyond it's control points.

  • How can I retrieve e-mails sent from my Blackberry

I need to provide copies of e-mails that I sent from my blackberry, within the next 7 days.  Is there anyway to retrieve them for printing?
    Thanks.

Yes. All emails sent from your BB will have a check mark in front of the email. Open the sent copy and fwd. It to your home or work comp. And then print it or them off.

  • How to get "sent from my blackberry handheld"??

I want my sent email messages to say "sent from my balckberry handheld", how do I do that?

Hi and Welcome to the Forums!
If your email is BIS-based, IMO the easiest means is to edit your BIS config via PC and the BIS website:
    http://www.blackberryfaq.com/index.php/Where_can_I_log_into_my_BIS_account%3F
It will be available on the General Settings tab for your BIS conduit.
OR -- you can do so on the device itself. Setup > Email Settings should get you to the screen with the auto-sig.
Edit -- if your email is BES-based, from any Messages list, press the BBKey and select Options > Email Settings. The auto-sig for BES-based email is there.

  • Help remove gmail signature from emails sent from Blackberry 8700c

I have a Blackberry 8700c and use gmail on my device to send/receive personal emails. (The primary email function for my device is work-related and, therefore, used for work emails.) About a year ago I set up a signature for my gmail account (on the computer). I have since changed and/or deleted that signature multiple times and the emails I send from my computer reflect that change but the ones sent from my Blackberry still have the old signature. Gmail claims this is a device problem and not a Gmail problem. I have done everything I can think of on my Blackberry including deleting Gmail and then re-installing it. I have searched for solutions in multiple forums and only found that others have the same problem but I haven't seen an answer that works. Does anyone here have a solution?
    Thank you!

Your BIS account is the Blackberry Data Plan on your account with which your email is enabled to your BlackBerry, the "push" email to your device. Someone would have had to set it up, either you or your mobile service provider.
I don't know your carrier, so please look at this list and login to your account, you will need to know your username and password for your BIS account, and since you don't know you have one I am suspecting you won't know your username and/or password.
This same can be accessed from your BlackBerry at the personal email setup icon.
Go to the Personal Email Set Up icon and log in. Then under Help!, select Service Books, then select Send service Books.

  • Remove "sent from" message

Hi, I am new to Blackberry and recently purchased a Curve...I am still getting used to it, but so far I really like it! I am wondering if there is a way to remove that "sent from my blackberry" message that shows up on the bottom of texts, emails, etc...I have been told that there is a way, but I cannot seem to figure it out! Although I am very happy with my Blackberry, I just don't feel it is necessary for the recipients to know where my messages come from all the time!  I would really appreciate any help with this!  Thank you!

  • Can't reply to email from a Blackberry Phone using Mac Mail on my MBP

I have a business colleague and I am unable to reply to his emails on my MBP.  (I can send a new email to him no problem, just not reply to his.)
When he sends it from his Desktop and iPad there are no problems and it only happens (on 3 different email accounts) when sent from his Blackberry.  The Blackberry uses a 'reply to address' which are all correct.
I get an SMTP error..then click "send later" then it will usually go when I send it from my outbox.
    Any ideas?

    go to settings
    then to store
tap your id then click sign out
then sign back in and you should be fine
