Separate ABAP-HR Forum?

Hi All,
I read the below 2 threads:
[What is the relevant Place to post?|What is the relevant Place to post?; in 2008 from SAS
[Why not ABAP HR Forum|Why not ABAP HR Forum; in 2009 from Sikindar
So, any good news?
I am working on ABAP-HR for the past 5 years and had learnt a lot from here.
I asked very few questions till date as I could mostly get my solutions by searching and I posted very less as almost all of the good questions were already answered by experts before I could do.
But when I ask questions or search for ABAP-HR related questions, I really feel, it is good to have a separate forum and I am not sure how much cross posting might happen by having a separate forum for ABAP-HR.

IMO there's no need for a separate forum for ABAP-HR. All technical questions can be asked in ABAP, General and the functional ones in HCM forum.
Too many forums will cause information to be spread-out. Hence searching will become more tedious. Add to that the confusion and ignorance of posters, and we have a difficult time keeping the forums in order!

Can we have a separate category under ABAP for ABAP-HR developments?
This would be helpful for many ABAP-HR issues to be addressed at the earliest and also search a solution in the relevent forums only.

This request has some history:
Separate ABAP-HR Forum?
Moderators cannot decide that, it's up to SCN administrators. I believe they want to see enough demand for a sub forum before creating it, and no good arguments against.
Personally I'm undecided. We don't have sub-forums for all other SAP modules. I know HR/HCM is technically different in some ways, but don't know enough about it to really make a call.

client dependant => Do not ask simple interview questions without enough information, because "it depends"...

Missing history in ABAP Development forum

When I look at the main page of the ABAP Development forum, I only see two pages of history. When I look at a sub-forum, I see lots of pages. Is it just me? (I have set my display to 50 items per page.)
Just noticed - same behavior here in Community Discussions.

For me it is still only 4 pages (I'm on 25 per page) in "Community Discussions". However in the sub forums e.g. "Suggestions and Comments" I can browse to older pages, as opposed to my previous statement.
It's not really a problem from my point of view, as the response time seems to be slightly better.

ABAP General forum - 22 pages of posts in one day - wtf ?

I don't have a project right now, so I was perusing the ABAP forum for whatever looked interesting.
I noticed 22 pages of posts just today 11 Feb. With 15 posts per page that's 330 post/replies in one day!
WTF is up with that, a little too crazy isn't it ?

The turnover in the ABAP Development forums has always been fast (hence also the temptation to duplicate post, instead of following up with more infos from having made some headway on your own while waiting for answers)...
Since a few days, there has been a steady increase and it is very busy at the moment.
I am not sure what the equilibrium thread-per-minute rate is before people reach the search-first-coeffecient, but it is approaching hopefully.
I am trying to look on the bright side of it...

Why not ABAP HR Forum

Dear
Mentors and Moderators
in SDN Forums we have Forums related to ABAP but not ABAP HR as we all know an ABAPER can be assigned to various functionla modules like FICO SD MM off course he also can do HR. but we dont call ABAP SD , ABAP FICO
but we have specilised the Technical Consultant nameing him as ABAP HR ??? Why is it so does there is any reason behind it ??

I want to separate my instance dual stak ABAP+JAVA, I don't lnow what's the better procedure
or move ABAP or move JAVA, both stay in one server:sapnwd01 (it have BI,EP components)
We wear Solaris 5.10, Oracle 10.2.0.4, SAP NetWeaver 7.0 (ABAP+JAVA)
ABAP have SID:NWD with the same database NWD, and number:04
JAVA have SID:NWD with the same database NWD, and number:14
And these are my profiles:

Can I install another JAVA instance and after remove JAVA from instance ABAP+JAVA?
Development team only give me one or two days for it they don't want loose time in develop.

How to separate ABAP+JAVA Dual stack in stand alone engins?

Hello SDN!
We are thinking about to separate our Dual Stack ERP 6.00 System on Windows/Oracle in two stand alone system Java und ABAP. Wie have afew small implementation in Dual Stack such as ESS and wie have no modifications at all.
Has somebody an expiearence with that? Knows somebody about some tools for such an action?
I will be very pleased for any help

Hey Verizon - Can we have a separate HTC Rezound forum now please!

Dear Verizon,
Now that you have created so many problems for us with the Rezound OTA firmware update can we PLEASE have our own discussion forum?!? It has been over 2 months now. Is the bureaucracy still churning to get this done? Other phones haven't taken this long and phones that have come out after the Rezound already have their own forum discussions (ie: the Galaxy Nexus - but of course it did have a lot of major problems compared to the Rezound before the update). Is anyone listening or reading this stuff there at Verizon? Do you just not care?
