Separate page in Adobe Muse, not linked to Menu

I want to create a Sitemap page in Adobe Muse which i do not want to link to navigation menu. I tried adding main or child page, but it automatically links to navigation menu.

You can use "Exclude Page From Menus" under Menu options.
In plan mode , left click on the page will give you the Menu options.

Muse uses Fixed width Layouts so that is not 100% possible. You can extend images and box elements to full width but not actual content.

The version of Muse that has in-browser editing will be available next week, but right now the only way to have access to that feature is to get the private beta. If you're a subscriber, wait until Monday, and you should get the update with in-browser editing.

How do I correctly update images on my Gallery page in Adobe Muse 2011-2013?

I am trying to update images on my Gallery page at: www.glennmcfall.com. When I add new images those new images are not active. When I click on the thumbnail (when I use Preview Page in Browser) the slideshow image appears , when I click on that image a larger image or video should appear but doesn't. I noticed when an image is active an image of a hand appears when hovering over the art/photo/video but this hand does not appear when I am trying to access the largest image. What do I need to do to correct this? I am using Adobe Muse 2011-2013 version.

How to automatically scroll continuously to the next page in adobe muse?

Im building a site which was orginally going to be a one page scroll site but I now what to place the different sections on individual pages to allow easier editing of content. I still want the site look as if it is a continusly scrolling one page site. What I was hoping to do is that when the viewer comes to the end of a section they can continue to scroll down but for it to link to another page, I thought this may be done using anchor points in some way. Any help greatly apprciated! Thanks

Yes ...
You need what is called a 'Snap Scroll' widget ... these widgets use the anchor points as a brake to stop right where they are while swiping or scrolling ... it won't continue down the page until your swipe or scroll again ... it will do this for all anchor points on the page ...

Why is Adobe Muse not spell checking?

So I am building a site on Adobe Muse CC and I noticed the program is not spell checking as I write. I purposely misspelled words to see if the spell checker would put the red squiggly line underneath misspelled words but it doesn't. I have searched for a spell checker command everywhere on the program with no luck. Don't know why a spell checker is so hard to find when that should be one of the easiest commands to find. PLEASE HELP!!!

That is not enough.
There are different places, where you can determine the language:
Global for the document: –> Site properties
For one page: –> Page properties
For one text frame: –> Right click onto the text frame and choose "language".
By the way: It is not really helpful and quite confusing, if you write in your first posting:
"I have searched for a spell checker command everywhere on the program with no luck."
And when somebody shows you, where the spell checker command can be found:
"I wasn't an absolute idiot but thanks for pointing out the obvious."

Adding web page in Adobe Muse that can be accessed from each web page

I have a disclaimer link at the footer of each of my web pages, I want it ot be accessed from each page. Where in Adobe Muse do I insert this page?

I'm new to Muse so two more questions for you all--
1. How do I add a drop down menu feature to my navigation menu to show the sub navigation?
2. How do I insert a Contact Form so that people can fill it out and send to us via email through our website?

Adobe Muse not Installing from Cloud using Adobe Application manager

I am trying to install Adobe Muse from Cloud and receive this message : Error: Third Party payload installer install adobe muse.exe failed with exit code :7
Everything else from Cloud has installed correctly.
I am probably doing something wrong as I am very new to Adobe. Please Help.
P.S. I have tried uninstalling/ Adobe Air
All sorted now!!!
I just uninstalled all Adobe Applications and reinstalled and everything is working fine.

Please try removing Adobe Extension manager and install it again. After re-install of Extension Manager try to update Light room.
If it does not resolve the issue please do a complete clean using adobe cleaner tool and reinstall everything.

Adobe muse not working!

i have paid for the month to month with adobe muse but when click the download button NOTHING happens!!! this has been for 2 days now and NO ONE can help over the phone. ALSO, how is there NOT an option to make an image larger on your website? when you start building a site on adobe muse, which i did on the free trail, there are slideshow options but NO lightbox picture options! and even with the slide show the images don't get large enough to read! any help at all would be GREAT!

I am trying to highlight text on multiple pages, but Adobe will not autoscroll via cursor.

I am trying to highlight text on multiple pages, but when I select the text and bring the cursor to the bottom of the screen Adobe does not advance the document. How do I make it so I can highlight from page to page without having to release the mouse button?
Also, how do I get adobe to realize that there is a header and footer on each page, but the actual text in the file is in two columes. Is there a way to make this clear and embade it in the document so other programs recognize this too?

I would like to learn how to make an alias for my "Home" page in Adobe Muse.

Currently, my homepage is titled "Home." This works great in the vertical menu at the top of the main pages. It does not, however, work well if someone wants to bookmark my site in which case their bookmark generates the generic "Home." Can I create an alias for the home page in Muse? If so, how?

My Adobe Muse doesn't want to open anymore. I last used it about 12 hours ago at the office but when I got home and tried to open it it just didn't want to launch.
What could be the problem?

Are you facing any error ? any crash report ?
Also you are trying to open Muse through some file or through shortcut icon ?

Width of page in Adobe Muse

I have started a website for an art group I belong to. It has been a win-win situation, as I'm practicing and feeling very confident that I can manage a nice site with Muse, the group are very happy with the site, and impressed with my ability. It's been great- Thank you Muse Team!

But I have a question about the ideal width of the page size. At an Adobe Creative Event, Terry White, said that it is best to stick with the default size of the web page, so I did that which is 960. When I view the page on my Macbook Pro, it seems like it could be a lot wider. I'm guessing that is because my display is set to 1440 x 900. So I'm wondering if any of you ever make pages any wider than 960, or can I up the size a little, say to 1100 or so? What about tablets and phones?
I would like to put more art on the member's gallery page, perhaps change the page size to 1200 wide and put 3 drawings across. Will that work or will it cause a lot of viewrs to do a lot of scrolling side to side

It clearly shows the trends to larger monitors. That being said, you definitely don't want people encountering horizontal scroll bars when they come to your site. I would say you could safely expand to 1024 or possibly 1200 to accomodate members' artwork.
A suggestion for you...when you go to the Gallery page and click on the various members' names, it scrolls down nicely to their respective part of the gallery. But then you have to manually scroll up or down. You can make the menu of members' names "sticky" so that it stays with the viewer as they scroll. They can then easily move to different parts of the page without all the scrolling.

Adobe Muse - how to make menu links smaller

Once I create a vertical menu with the items I want on it, I resize the text to be small, like 12-13pt, but when I adjust the vertical handles to adjust the size of the menu, you can only go so small before it pops right back up as soon as you release the clicker. I only want like 10-15 pixels between my menu items. Is there a way to reduce the vertical size of those cells to be smaller?

Header extends past the page in Adobe Muse after uploading to web

Here is an example of my issue. Both are set to 100% width and both are edge to edge when i put them in...however as you can see, the header extends past the rest of the page instead of being aligned with the rest of the content.
