Separating Text messages from Emails
I have two icons, one that's labeled messages and the other labeled with my email address. When I go to the "messages" icon and open it, it shows my email inbox just like when I open the "email" under the email icon. Shouldn't I see my text messages inbox,create a new message etc...? Thanks

I'm not sure which carrier you have, but go here, and download the software and install it on your computer. Once installed connect the BlackBerry to your computer with the mini USB cable, and open Desktop Manager. You should get prompted about newer software being detected and you just hit the Update Now button and follow the wizard. If you do not get that prompt just go into the Application Loader and follow the wizard along.

YF if these messages keep coming an you cant get them stopped Call CS an have them change your phones No. an see if that pute a stop to it. as those Msg's can drive you crazy.! i had to do this some time back before i got my Droids. -
I am getting a red flag on any email I enter when trying to submit a message. The same email address works on my iPhone.

The iPad is not capable of sending an SMS message so texts, pictures, etc., must go through iMessage. The destination device must be registered with the Apple servers by turning on iMessage. Therefore, the user with the iPhone must enable it for iMessage. -

You need to link your iPhone number to Messages - and Facetime if you use it. For Messages go to Settings>Messages>Send and Receive at>You can be reached by iMessage at. If your phone number is showing there, select it as your Contact address. If it doesn't appear in there, take a look at the end of this article for help.

I posted this in the Apple forum. I think it may go here instead, maybe? Anyway ...I had the Droid 4, but decided I wanted the Iphone, so i switched yesterday. Once activated, within minutes, i started getting a text message from the number 625-0. The text message always says VZWNMN:1 It's always the same text message, from the same number. When it started, I hadn't had any new apps or email accounts set up on my Iphone. I have read stuff about this via google. The majority says its something to do with the mail set up on my phone. It started before i set my email accounts up. However, I did have my accounts set up on my Droid 4 that i returned. I had done a factory reset before turning that phone in though, so they should have been deleted. Now every time I get an email I get that text. I have unlimited texting, so the pricing isn't an issue. I don't like receiving random texts though. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I have replied to the text with "stop, unsubscribe, delete, ..." and various others that one would normally use.
I was one of the folks saing its on your email side but this explanation is a lot better and now I agree its obviously not your email thats the issue...

If you mean the settings for iMessages where you can specifiy an email address other people with iMessage can reach you at, that has nothing to do with email. The iMessage still goes to the Messages app and there is no way to autoforward from that app.

How can I get rec'd text messages from the same subscriber not be appended

Is there a way to configure the Apple iphone so that text messages from the same subscriber are displayed separately rather than appended to each other? In this way accidentally deleting one message wouldn't delete the entire history of messages from this subscriber.
When I launch the SMS service by pressing the green SMS button I am met by a screen that says Text Messages. On the left of this there is a button that says Edit and on the right there is one that is for writing a new message. Down the page are my messages all grouped by the originator of each messages. If I choose one I see that all messages from this source are present appended one after the other. There is also the option now to Clear on the top right hand corner. It is this Clear option I am worried about. If I choose Clear I am asked for a confirmation and then lo and behold as expected all my messages from this subscriber are deleted.
This is a work phone for support purposes and most of the texts will be from the telephone operator (i.e. the one same number) saying we have an email waiting to be read with a subject title giving a little description. I want to be in a position so that I don't accidentally delete the entire history of messages, say some evening when I'm tired or Monday morning if I 'm a bit asleep. Ideally I would prefer that each text message would stand alone in the Text Messages window irrespective of the originator and not be appended in a group fashion. Is there a way to do this?

MThere is no way to do that on the iPhone. Messages will always be grouped into a 'conversation' based on the sender/recipient. Only Apple can change that behavior.

I got text messages from iCloudreport regarding my lost iphone , are they scams?
I lost my iphone two month ago and I got a lot of emails from "Find my iphone" saying that my phone has been found in at least three other different countries. Today I received a text message from a unknown phone number saying that: "Find my iphone service: your iphone 6 64Gb Gray lost/stolen has been found. You can reclaim it now at: https://icloudreport.com/?imk=3544070.....(8 more numbers)...., Apple Inc. " I clicked the link, it led me to this address"http://icloudreport.com" it looks the same as icloud home page. I feel this is suspicious because I really did not put any hope on my lost iphone been found. Is this a scam?
I then rechecked the emails that I received in the past and I found that some early emails I received are from "[email protected]". The link in this email direct me to "losticloud.com" while the most recent emails are from "[email protected]" and the link in this email direct me to "icloudreport.com" (which is the same as that in the text message). Is any of the email I got is scam? I remembered I did login through the emails so I'm a little worried.It's all fake. If you had set up 'Find My iPhone' you could find the phone yourself, provided it's on, not wiped, and able to connect to a network. If you didn't set it up you can't locate the phone and neither can anyone else. The emails are phishing, trying to con you into giving away your login.

On an iPhone your iMessages will go to your phone number.
You can select another email to use on iPod or iPad.
Go to settings
Messages
Send and receive
Check your phone number and uncheck the common Apple ID you share so your messages will not go to other devices. -
When I send a text message from my iPhone response only comes back to my iPhone . If I send from iPad, response only comes back to iPad. Whichever I used last is where response comes. Responses are not coming to both anymore!
On both devices when you go to settings>messages>send and recieve how are poeple contacting you on each device?. e.g. email or mobile number.
