Seperate Good supplier for two items in same contract

Hi Gurus,
My client has a business scenario to have two different Goods suppliers in the contract for two different material in the same contract.
As far as my understanding and practice, it can be possible by different partners at VSR(vendor sub range) in vendor master + VSR in PIR for the material.
Apart from this, is there any other standard solution that SAP provides for this requirement?
You suggesstions will be highly appriciated in this!.

Hi ,
A contract is always between two parties. Since multiple vendors cannot be bind in one contract , you dont see such type of practices often. Share me if you find some answers.

Make goods receipt for the items w/difference after the proof of delivery

Hello experts,
I do like to know how finish the process of proof of delivery, when I does have items with differences over the quantities that arrived to my client. For example, one sales order for 20 units. I did the delivery note, and posted the goods issue. Then I did the Proof of Delivery, confirming 19 units and the deviation reasons, saving the document. Then I made my billing document for 19 units of material.
The deviation reasons was a damage material, my questions is: How does make goods receipt for the items with difference over the quantities after the confirming of proof of delivery?

Thinking in the process, I have found a solution to do it. If the differences was caused by unknowing reasons, like stolen or whatever reasons and the material will not enter again in the warehouse, we donu2019t need to make any process.
But if the causes was a broken material, a lapsed date expired or unknowing others reasons as a consequence the material will enter again in the warehouse; I have customized a returns order, and a returns item with the option not relevant for billing to conclude the process.

How to change Goods Supplier for GR against PO in MIGO or MB01

Dear Experts,
We have maintained 3 different Goods Supplier for a Vendor Master.
While craeting PO, we are not aware who will be the Goods supplier (Partner Functons) for the Vendor and hence we have selected one of the Goods Suppliers from Pop Up.
Is there some option so that we can change Goods Supplier during MIGO.
I don't want Goods Supplier to be manually changed in PO.
Plz suggest....

We can not change the Goods Supplier during MIGO.
We can only change the Fright vendor during MIGO.

Thanks for your answer. If I set my shopping cart for a contract with a supplier A, and I select an item with a supplier B, then after pushing button Transport to SRM on the shopping cart webdynpro UI, I would get the an error message, and the item wouldn't come to the SRM.
If the item doesn't have any supplier, and I make a contract with it, the supplier of the contract goes to the item, and after that I can't make a contract with an other supplier for this item, because of the uppers.
The type of field Supplier in table Catalog Items is Lookup field, and it can't be modified.
Could you please write to me which can I set our system to be able to make contracts with many suppliers?

Free of cost supply for Rejected item

Dear All,
Please help me in the following scenario :
a. A line item ( Imported item )rejected by quality .
b. For that rejected item foreign supplier send us the same material in free of cost . No need to pay for that item.
c. I paid the freight and customs duty for both rejected item as well as for free of cost item .
My questions :
1. How to make GR for free of cost in the same P.O ???
2. How to account the customs duty and freight that has been paid twice for the same item ???
3. Can i avail cenvat facility for both item .???

If the PO is not taken into GR then add the item once again in the PO and chec the FREE GOODS checkbox. By this check the GR taken will not affect the cost of this item.\
For the double payment made already , you can create a credit note for the vendor in MIRO [Subsequent credit], by choosing the amount and entering the articles.
On confirmation of MIRO the value will be reduced from these articles in proportion which was actually increased due to double payment.

SD- Sales Order - ATP check not working for few item in same sales order

Need help we activated ATP check but for few item i could not find confirmation qty after availability check. In same SO out of 4 items for schedule line it confirming qty for 2 item but it's not confirming for remaining 2 items though stock is available. Please guide me how to correst and what need to check.

As you know, ATP is a big subject & some times its difficult to point the exact problem.
In your case, I suggest you to execute the function module:BAPI_MATERIAL_AVAILABILITY using Tx:SE37
key in selection criteria , in results check the "ATPQTY"- it will show you how much actual stock is available for use i.e. ATP qtty.
still if you find the availability & system not confirming the qtty, then problem could be in checking rule
Tx:OVZ9 check in relevant combination, whether you are considering RLT or not?
is this case with MTS or MTO
because in Sales order -
for MTS - checking rule "A" & MTO checking rule will be "AE"

PersistenceManagerFactory with jndi name. When i figure the two jidi name

"<connection-factories>" in the kodo.ds.xml. That's unavailable!

You should deploy multiple kodo-ds.xml files (i.e. kodo-ds-oracle.xml).

After Lightroom CC update, PS & Bridge fail to update and get error U43M1D204. Retried for two days still same error.

After installing the lightroom CC update, PS and Bridge reported they had updates. When trying to update I get the error U43M1D204 and it fails. Retried for two days now and still cannot get it to work. Tried removing PS and Bridge but there is no uninstall or reinstall options.

UPDATE: I managed to get both uninstalled and they re-installed ok. They reported installing ok but required a patch and that failed. So back to the same issue, I cannot patch these two applications.

Can I have two seperate iTunes lists for two iPods on the same computer?

I have two nanos, one for me and one for my daughter. Can we manage two seperate download lists when we plug in to the same computer.
The additional complication...her nano has a smaller memory than mine, so her's wouldn't hold all the songs anyway.

iCal Server sends invitations to internal users too if you remove the email addresses of your internal users under "Info" in Workgroup Manager.
So the Open Directory does not have an entry for the users with your internal domain, which makes iCal Server see the user as an external one.

Using multi-threading: Setting a VI to be used for two sequences at same time

I have two sequences running as two different threads. This is supposed to be in parallel but both sequences access the same VI, then they're not executing as parallel because one sequence use this VI then liberates it and the other sequence use it, and so on consecutively until both sequences finish. This is not what I want.
How can I do to set this VI with any kind of property or something that can be accessed for both sequences at the same time?

Hi Margarita, you can set a VI to be reentrant (under VI Setup»Execution Options from TestStand, this function can also be used from LabVIEW) . Now depending on the king of VI you are using this can be something safe or can cause trouble. If the VI needs to keep information (for example a Functional Global Variable) or it is handling Hardware it can give you errors (for example trying to access the same DAQ at the same time from different task.
If you need more information can you tell us what does this VI does?
