Sequence of services

Can anyone list out the sequence of services which needs to start for planning. I am talking about enterprise performance management(Classic) not about epma. Every time i asks about this question people are responding to it thinking about epma.

i am talking about 11.1.1.3. Plz list out the sequences for starting planning (classic) not epma. I know about the following services which needs to start.
Hyperion Apache 2.0
Hyperion Foundation open LDAP
Hyperion Shared Services-web application
Hyperion Essbase Services 11.1.1 - hypservice_1
Hyperion Administration Services-Web Application
The above services are meant for hyperion essbase
Hyperion Planning - Web Application
Hyperion RMI Registry
Hyperion Workspace - Agent Service
Hyperion Workspace - Web Application
The above services are meant for hyperion planning.
My question is to start planning apart from the services of planning which are the other services needs to start in essbase.

I am very new to Oracle Service Bus, I want to achieve the following sequence of operations in OSB, please help me or guide me how to achieve it in sequence manner.
1) Transfer .txt file from STFP server to local shared folder.
2) Calling EJB service to process (Read the file) and insert/update in DB.
3) Once the EJB service operation is over, transfer the file from local folder "Inbox" to local folder "archive" folder.
4) Sent the success or failure batch job email message to administrator.

I've created the 2 Proxy services and related business services, one service is used to move the file from one location to another and another service is used to call the EJB (using JEJB transport). I am using the sequential service call to call one after another (1st Move file then Call JEJB). The following error I am getting, pls help me to resolve this issue.

ACCESS SEQUENCE FOR SERVICE MASTER

HELLO EXPERTS,
For service master, for the standard access sequence 0010 for table 81 (contact condition at plant level), there are three field
named as.
1. package number
2. internal line number
3. plant
So can anybody tell me where is the field package number and internal line field in a contact or anywhere else.
How we relate to our pricing procedure.
again for access sequence 0010 for table 95 and 96 there is a field named as activity number. So what is that field exactly ??
again how does it control pricing procedure?

the table is KOMG and the field name for package is KONT_PACK and for internal number is KONT_ZEILE

Sequence of starting Services for dashboardtemplates.xml changes

Hi,
In What sequence the services should be brought down and started to reflect changes made in dashboardtemplates.xml .
We have Websphere running in Unix box and cannot bring down entire Websphere since it host other applications as well. So is it ok to bring down only the application server hosting the application.

Oracle10g DB services startup sequence

Hi:
I have installed 10g on WinXP. All is well but I would like to start the Oracle services manually and I need to do it in the appropriate sequence, I only know about the SQLnet listener and the actual database. what is iSQLplus?
There are three other services and if I look in taskManager I see two java processes running as well. Http listener perhaps?
I have not installed iAs. Anybody has a script to start Oracle 10g on Windows?

Hi,
As you have already sequence for 9.3 on specified page, i think sequence of service start will be remain the same.
even at the time of installation you can check the service box and it will automatically start all services in correct order

SLA for service request\service order without create a service contract

Hello Experts,
We are using CRM 7
Is there a possibility to determine SLA for service request\service order without create a service contract?
We have defined:
1. Trasaction Code: CRMD_SERV_SLA- Response Profile / Response Times
2. In Customizing we have defined our date profile with the relevant duration
3. In Customizing for transaction types we defined SLA Prof. Det. Proc= IT000001
4. we assign the Service Profile and Response Profile to BP (from "service levels" block) .
Everthing seems ok but the SLA time is not determined automatically.

Your steps are correct and i hope you did these too
a) In the SLA determination procedure ,you have defined the access sequence for service product item or org
b) If service product item ,take any service product for ex INVESTIGATION assign the two Service and response profile in the service tab
c) if org the above two profiles can be assigned to org attributes.
d) In my opinion the date profile you should have assigned it to item category as I think the SLA date calculation is done at the item level
e) You should assign the SLA det prof to the transaction type in the service process business category - customizing header.
f) when you create a transaction type sla dates will be determined as follows
    a) you have to enter service product entered in the item ,then dates will be visible,and also if your access sequence is based on service product,the respons profile and service profile will be determined.
    b) if you have given indicators as all these three "category,priority,codes' in your response profile, then you have to enter all three and then hit enter
   c) After hitting enter,the response profile determined above,will use the above 3 inputs of category,priority etc and determine the duration times ,which should be maintained in your date profile.hence the durations determined will be used in the dates calculation.

MM-External service management pricing configuration

Hello Experts,
I am working with MM-External service management, and am facing an issue in Pricing during creation of SES (ML81N).
I have modified the standard Access sequence 0010 (Performance conditions) by inserting Table 104 to row 15.
The Condition table 104 has field KOMP-SRVPOS i.e. Activity Number.
The Contract (ME33K) has a service included with a Service No. 40000000 as shown below with a Gross price as 1/- . The said service is created in AC03.
A condition record is created against the Activity No 40000000 in transaction ML45 (Condition Typ: PRS) as shown below:
While creating SES for a Release order of the said contract for service No. 40000000, the expected result is that in the Access Sequence Row 15 would be executed and the condition record maintained in ML45 (14/-) would be picked up.
However, the access 15 does not get executed as the Activity No. field is not filled. It appears that the KOMP structure is not populated with SRVPOS under above circumstance. Error message 102- “Access not made (initialized field)”.
Instead the access in Row 20 is executed and Contract rate of 1/- is picked up.
In another scenario, SES is created on a contract where the said service no. (40000000) is NOT included in the service lines. Here during Pricing the Access 15 is successfully made:
What is reason for this behavior? As per requirement, many contracts share the same services and their price is uniform across
all contracts. Hence instead of the contract specific condition, the Cnd record maintained against Activity Number is required to be picked up. This makes sense because these prices change periodically and hence rate Maintenance is easier if only rate against single Activity number is to be changed rather than prices in all individual contracts.

Hi,
Instead of modifying the standard Access sequence , you can create New Access sequence for service but you need to add field SRVPOS for Activity Number in the following path:
SPRO --> MM --> Purchasing -- > Conditions --> Define Price Determination Process --> Extend Field Catalog for Condition Tables
Now create a new condition table as 977 with Service master or Activity number and then create New Access sequence as ZSER assign table 977and save. You can create your new service condition type as ZSER and assign New Access sequence ZSER to it.
For to have service condition pricing in service order/purchase order, you can use routine 11 in Requirement column for service condition type ZSER in Requirement column in MM calculation schema/MM Pricing Procedure. Different pricing for service and production
You should decide which condition price you want in service PO---- price from condition record or from service contract.

Issue with changing Access Service in ACS 5.2

Hi,
I am working on lab setup where I installed ACS 5.2 I created new access service and used it in existing service selection rule (Rule-2) earlier but it didn't work. Later I created new service selection rule and applied new service access rule. However even after this change it keeps applying predefined default access access service. Please refer attached picture for better understanding.
As shown, I want Aks-Rule to work and apply service 'Lab-Policy' however it keeps referring Rule-2 and applies 'Default Device Admin' access service even after I disable it.
I have to restart ACS service from CLI console to make it work. Is this a bug or am I missing anything. Please advise guys.

Since the policy AKS is top in sequence under service selection rule so it should hit for sure. As you wrote that even after disabling the default device admin, then also request is hitting the same and restarting the ACS services resolved the issue. The symptoms of your issue are exactly same as stated in this defect.
CSCuo93378 Certain browsers cause ACS database corruption
Due to this issue we have seen cases where request hits the disable and default policies without any reason. Actually accessing ACS via chrome mess around with all the operators in conditions.
The only workaround is to access all the rules and conditions in supported browser. Ensure all the operators are correct, save the changes and restart the ACS services.
The issue seems to be fixed in ACS 5.5 patch 5

Session enabled RFC Web Service Fails & WSDL has enablesession=false

A stateful Webservice with 2 RFCs, consumed by a .NET application fails and the cause seems to be because of statelessness.
The call to 1st RFC succeeds and the call to the 2nd RFC fails with the below error message:
An exception with the type CX_SY_REF_IS_INITIAL occurred, but was neither handled locally,
nor declared in a RAISING clause.Dereferencing of the NULL reference"

1- Even though the "Session-Oriented Communication" is checked, the WSDL has EnableSession as false. Is there any special step to make it true?
2- Even though the SOA Manager says that the Session is enabled and SessionMode is Http Cookie, the HTTPFiddler doesn't show any cookie in the .NET side.
3- Are Web Service enabled HRXSS RFCs capable of performing Session Oriented Communication?
Eg. Can the RFCs HrxssPerInitPernr and HrxssPerReadP0002Us be called in a sequence?

to get this working you need to enable some services in transaction SICF
to know a complete list of all services to be enabled check oss note number 517484
particularly these nodes should be active
/default_host/sap/bc/soap/wsdl and
/default_host/sap/bc/soap/wsdl11
(to get the error thrown by the server instead of page cannot be found, in your browser go to tools->internet options->advanced and uncheck the check box "show friendly error messages" and run the wsdl button again)

I create sequence of service callout but they work separately. How add session maintain on service calls.

by "session" do you mean "transaction"? There is not a concept of "session" in OSB...

If a partition carries 3 failover service objects-. A, B & C - and if service object A fails, I
believe that the whole partition in replicated and reinstantiated. If so what happens to the
non-failed objects in old partition and the newly created clones of those objects in new partition?
Which one wud be used while referenced ?
My unerstanding is that it manages failover by partition than by objects so that failed partiton is
activated on some other assigned nodes.
2. Service object activation sequence
How the activation sequence of service objects are determined ? I have a strange problem. One of my
service object (in its init method) try invoking a method on another service object; but gives
"Attempt to invoke a method on a NIL object" exception. I inserted a loop above this line as
DO WHILE thisSO = NIL THEN
END DO;
flag = thisSO.GetStatus();
Still the exception occurs. The called service object reads from a flat file to populate its data
members. Can I change the activation sequence of service objects ? Both the service objects, talked
about here, belongs to same partition and are of USER visibility type.
3. Partition Log
The partition log generated overwrites the existing file if I specify a file name name using -fl
flag at command line. Is there anyway that I can make it to append to existing log ?

Unable to activate after Service Pack 2 for Microsoft Office 2010 (KB2687455) is deployed

I'm having a very strange issue with deploying the "Service Pack 2 for Microsoft Office 2010 (KB2687455)". Here's what I see:
Deploying to a Windows 7 SP1 system fully patched as of 7/29/2013
Using SCCM 2007 R3
Task Sequence installs Office Professional Plus 2010
Task Sequence installs Service Pack 2 for Microsoft Office 2010 (KB2687455)
The Office Professional Plus 2010 install was configured to use our key using the Office Custimization Tool (setup.exe /admin)
When I try to activate the suite using any of the installed applications (word, excel, outlook or powepoint) I get the error "An unspecified error has occurred. Your request cannot be processed at this time. Please try again later. (0x80070190)"
If I repair the install then try the activation again it works right away. This is a good work around for single installs but for my needs of multiple system deployment and for pushing out the Service Pack 2 for Microsoft Office 2010 (KB2687455) to other systems
in my environment this will not work.
Can anyone please suggest a solution to this problem?

According to my research, this issue occurs when one of the following conditions are true:
If you have CD emulation software installed, a registry key is preventing the hardware ID from being acquired.
A required registry key is not set correctly or is missing.

Dynamic service chains

I have a sequence of services, say serviceA -> serviceB -> serviceC. I wish to add another service to that sequence, but I want to dynamically determine which JCD is called as ServiceD. The interface contract for all potential serviceD's is the same, so serviceC always passes the same thing.
Is this possible in some fashion in jcaps? connectivity map? einsight? java?

You can "expose" a JCD via a request/reply JMS Queue. It could be a queue that is shared amongst multiple JCDs using selectors, as has been suggested. The JCD can be clever enough to figure out whether it is to send the response to a JMSReplyTo queue (which will make the response destination settable by the requestor and dynamic) or just send it (which will make the response destinaiton static, configured through the CM). The requestor JCD could use a requestReply() method specifyng an explicit destination and/or with agreed upon JMS Header field, for example JMSCorrelationID, configured, to cause the message to go to the right queue or to trigger the right jcd via a selector. If the requestor JCD derived the valur for the selector or the queue name from the message the whole arrangement would be dynamic and dependent on message content. Does this go somewhere towards satisfying the requirement?

Different workmanager for different proxy service

Hi All,
I want to use two seperate workmanager for my two proxy service, one of them will be ignore stuck thread = true and alternate will be false.
but when I am using them all time its using only one.
I am testing one more scenario, i have another proxy service which is using another Oracle AQ for polling, and i configured the dispatch policy default.
the expected behaviour was to see the stuck thread. but when I monitor the thread list. I am finding the second thread regarding DEQUQUE also comes in same workload manager.
Is there any way to use different workload manager for different services.

I Can give you one more option you no need to create different Material master records .
1. You main tain Material Usage Indicater at order level path is Spro ->IMG> Sales and distribution-->Sales --> Sales documents ---> Sales documents Header ---> Define Usage Indicators.
You can Define Material usage 1.Delux rooms 2.Non Delux rooms.
2. You take field Material Usage in to Price condition table, put the table in the access sequence of Service price condition type and finally maintain condition record with Material Usage key combination.(Here you can maintain different rates for delux and nondelux.
3. Now if you enter Material Usage as Delux while creating order the system will take the price based on the key field, If you enter Non delux it will pick up specific price.
4.You can put Material usage field in incompletionlog

Essbase Provider Services not starting up

What could cause services not to start up.We couldn't get the any of the Hyperion services to start. Managed to start up Analytic service, but I still can't get the remaining services to start (Hyperion S9 Administration Services & Hyperion S9 Provider Services .
I dont know what I might be missing
Please help.

What is the sequence of services? did you start your services first open ldap, shared services, essbase services, essbase admininstration services, provider services. What is the last thing you do before the services were up and running?
