Sequence Please.. help.....
Hi all,
I installed the Oracle9iAS and everything on a Single p4 box running WIN2K Prof.
Just after the installation I was able to see the portal home page by firing the url
http://instructor.saturn.com:7778/pls/portal.I was even able to log in using the SSO.
But i restarted the machine and then i was not able to access the portal page.The error was
Internal Server Error
The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.
Please contact the server administrator, [email protected] and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error.
More information about this error may be available in the server error log.

till then am struggling to start it but came to know that there is a sequence in which the
services should be started.What is the sequence all about.Here i have specified all the
Oracle services.Which service should be made manual/automatic etc.??
Can anybody suggest me the correct sequence so that again i can access the home page.

I'm not sure if you can run 9iAS on WIN2K Prof.
That said, whenever I have startup problems the first thing I check from the Enterprise Manager (http://yourhost:1810) is - if the OID is up and running and if not - start it. Then check if DAS, OC4J_Home and HTTP_Server are running.
Of course this assumes that the Enterprise Manager is running. You can check this in the W2K "Computer Management", "Services and Applications", then "Services". The Enterprise Manager is the xxxEMWebsite listing. If I cannot get 9iAS to come up then the following almost always works. I manually stop all 9iAS services and either restart them or re-boot.
When I stop or re-start I use the following order.

xxxInternetDirectory
xxxAgent
xxxProcessManager
xxxTNSListner

Hello, this is my first time asking for help on here, I've been going round the forums and web in general for hours and can't seem to find a solution to this. I really hope someone can help me sort this.
Every time I try and open a project in Pr CC 2014 on my Mac Pro I get the "Sorry, a serious error has occurred that requires Adobe Premiere Pro to shut down. We will try and save your current project."
People usually ask for as much detail as possible, so to that end: This is a project that I started on my MacBook Pro Retina, so when opening on my desktop it prompts me to locate the footage. Once I find the first file, as soon as my mouse moves over the clip (at the point that scrubbing would be evoked) I get the warning and it shuts down. I tried to open a blank new project, which does not shut down, until I go to import the footage and again, it only crashes when the mouse moves of the clip to scrub. I tried locating the footage in the finder to sidestep the Media Browser, and that allowed me to select the clip, but crashes once I tried to import it. I thought it may be the footage was corrupted, so I tried other clips with the same result. It also crashes if I just try to create a new sequence, with no footage at all in the project.
All my other Adobe apps (AME, Pl, Ae, Br, Ai, Ps, Lr, Id, Mu) are working fine. I have uninstalled and reinstalled Pr and AME twice now. I have followed the advice of other posts and renamed/reset/deleted the preferences, plugins in the Library, and adobe folder in users/username/Documents. I have ensured that I have read/write access in all folders. I am running Yosemite on my desktop, but so is my laptop and Pr is running flawlessly on that. I never had this problem with Pr CC pre 2014, so I'm hoping it's not a hardware issue.
I've also tried turning it off and on again!
I have reached the end of my tether and consider myself well and truly defeated by this problem. I really hope that someone out there can figure what on earth is going on!

Try the following:
Sign out from Creative Cloud, restart Premiere Pro, then sign in
Update any GPU drivers
Trash preferences
Ensure Adobe preference files are set to read/write
Delete media cache
Remove plug-ins
If you have AMD GPUs, make sure CUDA is not installed
Repair permissions
In Sequence Settings > Video Previews, change the codec to one that matches your footage
Disconnect any third party hardware
If you have a CUDA GPU, ensure that the Mercury Playback Engine is set to CUDA, not OpenCL
Disable App Nap
Reboot
Report back if anything here worked for you.

Problem importing premier pro sequence. please help
I have been attempting for awhile now to import a 45 min long rendered sequence from premier pro into encore but whenever i do so, the second the sequence is imported, the program stops responding.
how can i fix this?Can you please give your system specs?
In particular, how many physical HDD you have as well as memory. OS, CPU etc.
Also - what are the scratch disc settings in Premiere?
Finally - what is the video type - SD? HD?
Please give as many details as possible as it sounds like your system is going into overdrive. -
Problem with Oracle Native Sequencing - please help!!

I am migrating from 3.6.5 to 10.1.3.1 (huge jump).
And have a problem with sequencing.
When I create new object Toplink does not pick up Sequence object name from the descriptor.
When I see generated SQL it shows:
SELECT .NEXTVAL FROM DUAL
Each of my descriptor has it's own "..._seq" name defined in workbench.
For DatabaseLogin i define
login.useNativeSequencing();
login.getDefaultSequence().setPreallocationSize(50);
As a result - no luck.
Do I miss something, some command?

You could use execute immediate to create the sequence this way:

Help! I have an Adobe Premiere Pro CC 2014 sequence @ 59.94 fps and need to export the video as 23.976 but the final video render looks glitchy! Please Help!

When I try to render a png sequence I got the following errors

I use an Akai MPC to sequence.
I have the MPC triggering sounds from various modules. However, i want it to trigger Logic Instruments, so i would have logic running at the same time as the MPC, but with the sounds of logic being played from the MIDI info on the MPC.
I have the midi out (from MPC) running into my soundcard. When i play a pad on the MPC Logic reads the note.
I want to set up logic with 5 different software instruments (for instance), each being controlled by a different midi channel on the MPC. I have loaded 5 instruments, and set each ones MIDI Channel from 1-5 respectivly. On the MPC, i have set up 5 tracks, each transmitting through the correct midi port, but from channels 1-5. In Logic, when the instrument channel is selected, the pads play that instrument. When i select a different track in logic, the sounds stop playing. Its as if the midi signal only goes through to that specific instrument when i have that track selected.
I want my 5 instrument tracks in Logic to play at the same time, being controlled by 5 midi tracks on the MPC.
I have looked all over logic to try to find settings to adjust but with no joy. I'm thinking it possibly has something to do with the environment page. I've been reading on this but still very confused about that page!

Something wrong with your logic (not your code - your logic.)
available() returns an int. So if it returned it definitely returned an int value. It might not have returned (although I doubt it) but there is no way for it to return a 'blank'.

Arbritarty. Choose any number you want. Small probably isn't good though.

Pass it where? Just guessing but I thing the length of the data (whether that is the file length or not) is needed.

here? b is the new byte and numBytes equals the

Which Sequence Preset Please Help
I'm making a small video for my internship and using adobe Premiere.
I've however run into a few problems. The camera was outputing video in AVCHD(.mts) files which where not working.
I've nowstarted to convert the files into different formates. But I'm unsure of what squence preset to use given the file type. currently I have a file that is:

Converting a FCP sequence to Windows Media File - please help!
Hi fellow mac users, please help if you can would mean the world to me! I'm trying to export an edited sequence (32mins in length) from FCP 5 using Quicktime conversion to a Windows Media File. Although I'm able to launch the process successfully, it just seems to convert the very first minute or two and not the entire thing! I'm not well versed in these technical issues, so have no clue how to figure this out. I've even tried in vain to compress the sequence first, import into FCP and then try to export as WM but no luck. My boss is away and client is pushing and I'm stressing!
So if you can help, that would be fantastic!
many thanks in advance.Cleaner and Sorenson are huge and complex transcoders. You just need time and a credit card to download and then lots of time to experiment and figure out the quirks of each application. You do not have this time. Telestream offers a competitor called Episode. it's cool.
Get the full version of telestream's flip4Mac (if it was installed properly you can do this with a click on the system prerf panel for flip4mac). You will need a credit card. Be prepared for a very long transcode to WMP, even on a big Macintosh. I don't think you have the time for any of this nonsense.

Hi, I have been dragging jpeg files into i-movie all week without issue. Now all of a sudden, the selection of jpegs I'm dragging is repeating certain photos and not featuring others, making the entire sequence impossible to view.
Please help, this is urgent for a funeral tomorrow! It didnt happen with any of the other family tributes, they all worked fine.

RuthIt worked! Thank you! I finally just finished about 20 minutes ago! It took over 26 hours to complete the process you described, but I stuck with it and it worked. I am glad I didn't give up or "forget it" as some might have suggested. That would have set me back until tomorrow!
Ultimately, it turned out there were 45,910 jpgs created. No wonder it took so many hours to render/display them all. It ended up being about 10 hours before it seemed they were all rendered but the process between them displaying and being able to start really deleting them took a few hours because partly I was asleep and also partly it took forever to do anything. Any action as simple as selecting and right-clicking to Get Info, or emptying the trash, would take 20-30 minutes, a couple times longer. The clock stopped many times for 20-30 minutes at a time, a few times over 30 minutes, before catching back up. My cursor never froze which is what really kept me going, although it was a spinning beach ball for most of the time. I was never so relieved to see my regular cursor as opposed to seeing a spinning beach ball as I was early this morning after about 10 hours!
Once I was able to open a Finder window and select all 45,900 files (I had already deleted 10 in the previous couple hours during experimenting of trying to figure out what would work best), then right-click and select to move all the files to the trash, the process of moving them to the trash took 4.5 hours. Then deleting them from the trash took a couple minutes. There were 21.4 GB!!! No wonder the whole process took 26 hours!

Cannot open a Sequence!! Please Help ASAP!
When trying to open a sequence which consists of compiled sequences, a popup message appears stating "Operation not Allowed" with an ok button.
When I click on the ok button, another popup message appears stating "Error: Out of Memory".
After that, the sequence just does not open.
Im am currently running on 2 gb of RAM. I dont think my memory can be an issue with at least opening the file.
Can someone please help!! Has anyone run into this problem.
BTW I have Final Cut Studio HD.

Mac G5 Mac OS X (10.3.9) Dual 1.8GHz PowerPC G5Many things can be causing this problem. The first and easiest thing to do is delete your fcp preferences. Do a search here for fcp rescue, a neat little utility that will backup, delete and restore your fcp preferences. If that doesn't help, you may have a corrupt piece of media. First and easiest thing to try is to delete all renders. If that doesn't help, it may be a corrupt clip. Take all your media offline and see if the sequence will open. If so, gradually reconnect your media until you find the problem.
One thing that comes to mind is cmyk graphics. There verbotten. If you have any, open in photoshop and save as RGB.
If none of this works, email me a project that just consists of the problem sequence and I'll see if I can open it and then zap it back to you. My email adress is in my profile. Be sure and archive the file before attaching to email (control click on the file in the finder and choose archive).

Standard widescreen sequence settings - PLEASE HELP!

I've been trying for weeks to figure out the proper sequence settings / easy setup settings for videos that will ulitimately end up as STANDARD 16x9 footage.
Is there a direct 16 x 9 standard widescreen setting?
What I've been trying to do is to make a standard widescreen picture video slideshow that will end up being burned via idvd. But for the life of me I cant figure it out?!?!?

I do have Fianl Cut Studio Pro 2 studio."Standard" 16:9 is anamorphic.
Import your footage into FCP using a 16:9 preset, edit it and export it using 'current settings'.
Open up DVD Studio Pro and import the footage making sure to check the box that tells the program the material is 16:9.

Clips have become blank on the sequence...? Please Help!
I just finished editing my video.... and i was exporting, but in the middle of exporting it stopped, and there was a yellow exclamation mark to the side. I went back to Premiere to see wat was wrong and all my clips had gone bank as well as the audio... I dont know what happend. It still shows up on the time line...but dosent play... please help me, this video is very important. thank you.

So I have a Verizon iPhone 4 running iOS 4.2.7 iTunes has dowloaded 4.2.8, but when I tell it to update the iPhone, it starts and then tells me the iPhone "could not be updated. An unknown error has occurred. (3194)" Any thoughts? Thanks. Same th
