Sequence query

What is the utilisation of sequence in SAP Business one whioch related to doc series.
Can we get any report basis on sequence as like doc no series
Please provide solution asap.

Shift sequence query in PP work center

Dear All,
I am having one problem while maintaining shift sequence in work center. I have maintain all config settings in OP4A shift 1 shift 2 shift 3 but when I create work center and select shift sequence, it is only taking shift 1 and not all 3 shift for all 7 days.
Can anyone tell me the solution?

Thanks for the valuable inputs.
I have created following sequence in OP4A.
1, Create a Group eg. CB
2.Create a shift definitions like SHIFT1,SHIFT2,SHIFT2, START/END DATE, START/FINISH TIME OF SHIFTS, NO BREAKS ARE THERE and assign it to group.
3. Define individual shifts SEQUENCE DAYWISE wrt to groupo.
4..Assign grouping in capacity header of work center.
5.Now go to add interval option and create a new version of capcity which contains desired shift sequence from the shift group assigned.
7. assign proper valid froma and valid to dates.
8. In capacity header screena ssign the newly created capcity vesrion as active vesrion.
BUT STILL i WILL ABLE TO MAINTAIN ONLY FIRST SHIFT SEQUENCE FOR ALL 7 DAYS.
SYSTEM IS NOT SHOWING 2ND AND 3RD SHIFT.
PLEASE HELP ME OUT.

Using "automating batch sequence" query

Hi,
I am trying to add text content to an area of the page in a group of pdf files without having to open each file. I am not replacing existing text. After checking, I could not find a batch sequence to do this in Acrobat v7.1. Could this feature be available in Acrobat v9.? and/or would I have to use the (acrobat v7.SDK) to create a script and plug in to do this? or if not, in Acrobat v.9, use the SDK to create the script and plugin? I would appreciate any information.

It's not possible to just add running text to a PDF using a batch process or a script. What you can do is insert a field with text and then flatten it.
This will have a result similar to adding text to the document, but it will not be an integral part of the running text (ie the text you add will not "push" the rest of the text forward).

Another sequence query

I'm trying to burn a series of pictures to a CD from iPhoto via a burn folder. The pictures are in the sequence I require in the iPhoto album but the sequence changes when I drag them to the burn folder.
Is there an easy way to prefix the titles in iPhoto so that they stay in the same sequence when moved?

Photos Menu: Batch Change -> Set Title to Text "John's Birthday", for instance, and tick the box to append a number to each Photo. Now your photos are titled 'John's Birthday 001, John's Birthday 002 ... etc'
Then File -> Export and in the Export dialogue set the Filename to "Use Title"
Sort on Filename in the FInder and you end up with a folder full of images in the same order as the Album in iPhoto.

Packet out of sequence Query

Hi, In our MPLS network we are planning two add one more WAN link between two nodes of same bw as of existing link, say two WAN link of 200Mbps. As a IGP we are running OSPF and MPLS enabled on the WAN. If the traffic gets load balance on both the parallel link then will the packet out of sequence issue appears ?
If this is introducing the packet out of sequence issue then is there any way to avoid the same but have to use both the wan link for the traffic flow.

load balancing is flow based also on an MPLS network.
Load balancing criteria of MPLS frames is based on internal MPLS label (VPN label) for MPLS L3 VPN service.
In any case, whatever is the type of MPLS service there will not be out of order issues as load balancing will be flow based and packets belonging to the same flow will be switched over the same path

Need to re-sequence query result rownumber

I have a query that returns hundres of records and a field called [query].currentrow. This works great as it displays the row number for the entire recordset from 1 to xxx.
However, my customer would like this number to reset when a specific field changes. How does one do that? I am putting some sample code in for claification:
Amount     Product      Number
130           A               001
155           A               002
104           A               003
198           B               004 (Customer wants this to be 001)
133           B               005 (Should be 002)
176           C               006 (Should be again 001)

Sequence query at A/R invoice

Dear All
At our clinet place they have different branches which has to track doc series branchwise and no should start from 1 for all branches,these can be mapped through using sequence option.
Now the problem is while generating outstanding report and general ledger report the sequence name and no should appear,so kinldy suggest the best ASAP

I believe you need to create customized reports for this purpose. There are no out-of-the-box solution for you. Please stop using ASAP in your posting. It is not proper on the forum.

SCCM OSD and MDT 2012 - Task Sequence query

Hi All
I have single server SCCM 2012 R2 server with MDT 2013 successfully integrated. I'm looking to create a 'Sysprep and Capture' type Task Sequence within SCCM, so that this can be done via PXE rather than SCCM's more manual 'Capture Media' method. Just
wondering if anyone has thoughts on this, experience, pointers etc?
Couple of options that look possible are:
MDT Toolkit Package - include in SCCM based Task Sequence. Would it then be fairly easy to mimic ts steps detailed in MDT's existing 'Sysprep and Capture' TS, but within SCCM?
SCCM TS Steps - I've seen there are a number of TS Steps that look like they may enable OS Capture, but if so, bit confused there isn't more documented \ blogged on this kind of TS, would have thought this was a common requirement for a
SCCM TS? (TS Steps of interest within SCCM: 'Prepare Windows for Capture' and 'Capture Operating System Image')

There is a bit of debate about the best way to capture reference images. Check out this good blog that reviews the options:

Having said that, you can certainly create a capture task sequence in SCCM. If you choose to create a new task sequence,you should see a build and capture option. Simply create a build and capture task sequence and then remove the build steps.

Or as you said, if you are integrated with MDT, you can create an MDT task sequence to do the capture or add MDT steps as needed.

I created an database application, of a form with a report, and it is working fine...
But in my form, i have a requirement....The below are the existing fields in my form

start date
status
priority
due date
Among these fields in my form i need to create a 'Sequence' for my field "issue no",
So that whenever i opened the form the 'issue number' must generate automatically like 1 for the first time, 2 for the second time and so on..
For that i created a sequence

But for validation where i need to write the sequence query for the particular item 'issue no'....i dont have any idea of where to write the validation query for the sequence..

This is my above validation query whether the query that i mentioned is right..if not let me know the validation query..

Sequence issue with Toplink 9048

We are trying to get sequences to work using Toplink 9.048 but keep getting errors. We reference are sequences in our descriptors like the following:

and have gotten this functionality to work in 10.1.3 using this reference in the sessions.xml:

We have tried setting uses-native-sequencing to true in the sessions.xml but still get this error.

Have you looked at the examples shipped with 9.0.4.X. The 2-tier Employee example uses a sequence table and works as expected.
The #SEQ_NAME in the SQL almost looks like the sequence query is be customized instead of using the default generated SQL string.

Sequence generation issue

Hi , I am working in Healthcare industry . we have a claim and payment matching process . Every day 1.5 million payments get matched with 70 million claims and the matched payments are stores in some output table . After matching, an oracle seqence number is generated for each matched record and that is the primary key for the output table.
Match query will be like this,.
Select seqeunce1.nextval,a.column1,a.column2,b.coulmn1,b.column2 from claim_table a, payment_table b
where a.column3=b.column3
We are facing some seqence problem here. some sequence are missed during the first day and the missed sequnces are getting generated in the second day.
Sequence Query:
CREATE SEQUENCE ERA_CLAIM_MATCH_S
START WITH 1
MAXVALUE 999999999999999999999999999
MINVALUE 1
NOCYCLE
CACHE 500
NOORDER;
Example to demonstrated the problem:
Day 1(15th July) : sequence generated from 1 to 1000000 (some sequence are missed in between)
Day2 (16th July) : sequence generated from 2500 to 2000000 (some missed sequence in day 1 are generated here)

Customer number generation

Oracle Gurus,
Customer creation number generation as Automatic, where we are doing this setup in applications.
For supplier we give the setup in Financial options but I am not able to trace out for customer automatic number generation.
If anyone know the setups, please let me know the steps and setups.
Please advise.

Set the sequence number
Pl. go thru following navaigation path :
Go to Application Developer responsibility >Menu > Application> Database > Sequence
Query on sequence RA_CUSTOMERS_NUM_S and set Start Value to 20000 .
Retest it.

I have gathered some more information after debugging the program in XCode.

the UseQueryResult object result has a private member result_ with these members:
counted_
refs_
The first time I call query.storein(resvec), after use(s), the result object has these values:
counted_ = 0x5016f0
refs = 0x501cd0
The code works fine.
When, after another query to a different table, I call query.storein(resvec2), after the use(s), the members counted_ and refs_ are both 0x0. Then, when result.fetchrawrow is called, the program gets the EXCBADACCESS error. The debugger window shows this:
