Serial ATA2 (Silicon3124) card won't work

Hi,
I just bought a Serial ATA2 card, which is Silicon 3124 chipset, 3 internal and 1 external.
After I have plug in the card, it won't recognize any PCI card installed.
It come with 0.42 driver but I cannot use due to the file corrupted. I have downloaded their newest driver 1.1.0. After installed, it can shown "Other Mass Storage Controller", but still cannot recognize any harddisk it connected.
I search whole system but cannot found where the driver installed.
Do anyone of here have the card and no problem? Please help me!!!

I went to the Silicon Image site and downloaded the latest
driver which is version 1.1.0 posted 3/23/2006.
I was using SiI3124 0.42.4.pkg in the past. The new driver appears to be an update. I loaded it on and tried it with the Sonnet Fusion 500P which uses SATA PM. It worked well. It is a tiny bit slower than when using the Sonnet Tempo X4P with a PowerMac G5 with PCI-X.
I also tried using it with a single drive as you were hoping to do. I had no luck mounting any SATA hard drive with a direct connection using the SATA300 SiI 3124 card. I believe the Sil 3124 requires that the connected enclosure has to have a Sil-3726 SATA PM chip to mount the hard drive(s).
I would suggest you consider getting a SATA PM enclosure to work with this card or you might want to get a FirmTek SeriTek/1eVE4 Host Adapter which does not require a SATA PM enclosure and will work with direct connect drives. You can see a review here:

Lexar 1 GB CF Card won't work in SanDisk SDDR-80

Anyone have any thoughts on why my Lexar 1 GB CF card won’t mount when used in my SanDisk Firewire Imagemate CompactFlash Card Reader (model SDDR-80)?
The card works fine in my USB1 SanDisk CF reader. The card also works fine using a PC card adapter on my PowerBook. It will not mount on either my PowerBook or G5 using the firewire reader, but the firewire reader does work with SanDisk 512 MB cards. I am running Mac OS 10.4.3 on both the PowerMac G5 and PowerBook G4.
I’ve searched google, Apple Discussions and SanDisk’s support site and can’t seem to find anything relevant, but it is hard to get past all the stores on google.
It appears that the OS doesn’t recognize the card in any way. Even when I pull the card out of the reader, I don’t get an error message that the disc wasn’t ejected properly. I’ve tried plugging in the reader with the card already in it, and I’ve tried plugging in the reader and then inserting the card. I do believe that I have seen the Lexar card/SanDisk reader work before, but only 15-20% of the time, and never under conditions that I have been able to repeat.
Just as a test, I plugged in the reader/card to my iBook, running 10.3.9. System profiler shows the card reader, but the card doesn’t mount.

I have the exact same problem with the Lexar 80x 1GB card with my Delkin CardBus32 reader. Disc Utility sees it, but says:

iPhoto doesn't recognize the card. Also, works perfectly on a PC...

Msi r6450 video card won't work

just received a new video card and for whatever reason, my pc won't see it. it's the msi r6450 md1gd3 card.
I've got an older gateway desktop with 1pci express slot.
as near as I can tell, the mb is a c51pvgm. it's a model 5220 gateway machine using an amd athlon x2 chip 3800+. it has nvidea onboard 6150le processor. using winxp sp2.
bios is set to recognize the pciexpress slot first. fan comes on within the card but it is not being recognized in the device manager.

We can't support Gateway machines but just MSI stuff. Make sure it is not PCI-E 1.x as a six series Radeon and later PCI-E 2.1 and above card wouldn't work then. To be sure the vga is working test it in another machine

nope, it will probably work just fine. i had the same thing happen both while installing upon a Sparc box and a x86 box...but both go onliine...
it will ask you later if you want to DCHP or not. you can go from there.

E520 w/ 6630M 2GB card won't work correctly with "Advanced" OpenGL setting in Adobe Photoshop CS5.5

I'm having a problem using the "Advanced" OpenGL setting in Adobe Photoshop CS5.5. While I can select "Advanced" as an option, none of the advanced features are available to use (like flick panning and animated zoom).
I've updated my system with the latest video drivers (8.840.7.3000/6.14.0.3074) and BIOS (1.22/1.10/1.02), however, that's not working.
The video drivers packaged on the Lenovo site aren't the latest listed on the AMD site for the 6630M and I can't update my system with drivers from the AMD site.
This is a real issue for me since I bought the laptop as a design production machine and can't utilise the graphics card to its full potential. I wrote to AMD to ask them, which resulted in them pushing it back as Lenovo issue.

With other images same problem, no matter how large selection or small. There is always transparent silhouette of selection.
On other devices with the same images, tool work perfectly.

T-Mobile SIM card won't work with my replacement factory unlocked iPhone 5

On Saturday, my rear camera on my factory unlocked iPhone 5 stopped focusing. I took it in to my nearest Apple store and they replaced it. Problem is, now I can't get my T-Mobile SIM card to work with the replacement phone. The guys at the genius bar sent me to T-Mobile to see if a new SIM card would fix the problem, but I'm still getting an "Unsupported SIM" error when I try to activate the phone. Any insights?

What is model no. of the replacement iPhone 5 ?
If T-mobile SIM worked on the original purchase and does not work on the replacement iPhone 5, they gave you a wrong model.

Serial number invalid PS won't work!!

If you pay monthly, I am assuming it's PS CC, there is no serial number. You have to activate via AdobeID creative cloud.

Camera xD Fuji/Olympus M-type card won't work on iBook

I took photos with both an Olympus XD M type 1 gig
card and the same M type Fuji card. Neither one can be read by either my Mac OS 9 or OS 10.3.9. The error message is that I "Inserted a disk containing no volumes that Mac OS X can read". This does not happen with my Fuji non M-Type 256 MB card. Is there something about the M type that can't be read by a Mac OS? How do I make my Mac read the M type cards? New wireless card won't work.

I have an HP Folio 13-1020us, it was suppose to have a intel card in it but it didn't. So I took out the broadcom it came with and tried to replace it with a Intel Centrino Advanced-N 6235
And it wouldn't boot, it said it couldn't recognize the wireless card. Is there anything I can do to get it to work. I upgraded the ssd and memory but the wireless card is a no go. Or do I need a bios update?

HT1918 My credit card won't work, and the general solutions aren't working.

About a month ago I changed my debit card on my itunes account after I had some fraudulant activity in my bank account. Itunes rejected the new card as not matching the bank information. However, each time I try to fix it, it charges my bank account $1.40. This is only in my pending charges, it never sticks. After checking all the banking information with the bank to make sure address matched, I was instructed to go the USPS website and check the zip code. I did and changed it. It still rejected the card with the same error. I've tried to update it online and on my phone. My itunes account is stating that I have a charge for something I purchased. I'M TRYING TO PAY IT. It keeps kicking back my cards.
Yesterday, I remembered that I have another debit card attached to an account I don't really use often, so I transfered a few dollars over and tried to use that card. It stated that the security code was invalid. It wasn't because I was looking right at it and tried to enter it a few times.
This is really frustrating. I can't even update my free apps or download anything on my iphone 4s.

Same thing is happening to me and I cannot for the life of me speak to a human being who seems to have any clue as to what is going on. Can't get or update apps on my iPhone or iPad. It's ridiculous. Would love to hear whether you found a solution to this issue. Thanks!
