Serial number is invalid for XI Pro

I'm a registered student and UC Berkeley which gives me access to Adobe products. I've been using the trial version and it just expired but when I tried to put in the serial number that is on the "my products and services" webpage it said that the number is invalid. I found the number under "My Products", next to "Adobe Acrobat Professional". It says "version 11", "platform Mac", and "registration date: February 18, 2014". I found the same number when I went to the "My Adobe" webpage. Does anyone have any idea what could be wrong??

Serial number is invalid for Adobe Acrobat Pro 9 within CS4

Hi,
I purchased Adobe CS4 Creative Suite Design Standard. Upon installing the four programs it contains (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop and Adobe Acrobat Pro) I keyed in the serial number and InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop worked fine, but Adobe Acrobat Pro 9 kept showing a red 'X' at the end of the serial key input, saying my "serial number was invalid".
1. Incorrect tech support advice #1: Adobe tech told me to de-install and re-install from Adobe purchase e-mail link only instead of from trial versions. I did this, and then none of the programs worked or accepted the serial number. I went back to trial versions, and again 3 out of the 4 programs took the serial number - all EXCEPT Acrobat.
2. Incorrect tech support advice #2: Opened a case # online and waited a week for some kind of help, but once again got on the phone. This time I was told that the key was to select "Universal English" as the main option. Again I de-installed Acrobat and re-installed. There were no options for "universal English" ( you have to choose between English, Francais and Deutsch). Only when I got to the End User License Agreement was there an option to choose "English (International)". So I did as advised. Once again I entered my serial number and got a big red 'X'. I'm at the end of my Adobe rope.....
Does anyone have any idea how to solve this issue?

oh man, i think i am having a bigger problem now. I tried to uninstall the whole CS4 suite and was prompt to enter my serial key, to my horror, the big red cross appears. Making my serial key invalid for the whole suite. What is going on man. I think this really screw up my system, i am using vista 64. I am going to reformat my computer and try to reinstall, but i did not deactivate. Will this cause my just bought CS4 useless???? I am starting to get worried.

I moved Illustrator CS2 to a new computer an can not activate.
Deleted the current and downloaded per instructions from Adobe site, but the serial number provided by Adobe will not activate the program. I get a "Invalid Serial Number" after inputting the serial number from the download site.

Just to make sure:
Is it AI as a standalone application for Mac?
Otherwise, it will be one of the other serial numbers (for the whole suite (Mac or Win) if it forms part of it, or for the standalone Win AI).
Concerning the whole suite, you should be aware that the only suite version available for download is the Standard, so if you have the CS2 Premium you will need to, you have to download the Standard and then the Acrobat Professional and GoLive separately.

Photoshop is saying my serial number is invalid for my computer

I lost my hard drive recently and got a new computer. I used my discs to dowload CS5 to my new computer. All was good and a day later I got an error message in Photoshop saying my serial number was not valid for this computer.

You may have too many copies active. Since you could not deactive crashed drive that is still considered active. Only allowed 2 activated copies. Call Adobe.

I have an Adobe Pro 9 serial number. However when i try to install a full version of the software my serial number is invalid. I have checked with the agents in the Chat support and they told me to post my issue here. The Chat support agent told me that the serial number i'm having is a volume license. Please advise.

Welcome to Adobe Forum,
If the upgrade serial number is of Retail version & the previous qualifying serial number is of volume, then it is an incorrect upgrade path.
You will need to contact Adobe Support http://adobe.ly/yxj0t6 & get approval for re-serialization only when you have valid proof of purchase as per company guide lines. The discretion to re-serialize depends on the proof of purchase & concerned Team for approval.

1) Check you are imnputing the serial number correctly (zeros instead of ones etc..)
2) If your version of LP9 is the upgrade version then you must first enter the original Logic Po 8 full version serial and then the Logic Pro 9 upgrade serial...
Failing that.... contact Apple for a replacement serial....

Old school with CS2. Haven't used in a while and am unable to use the program as it says my serial number is invalid. Customer service tells me the server for CS2 has been shut down. Then they sent me here for help. Does anyone have any advice?

CS2 is very old and reached its "end of life" a while back. So probably won't run on modern operating systems. If you can still run it, you'll need to uninstall what you have and re-install with the download link below to activate it.

Just user to user....based on past and current history, Adobe Tech Support is not going to help you with a technical issue which is preventing you from using your purchased serial number for Photoshop Elements. Version 12 is not the current version. And, the Adobe Tech Support is limited even for the current version which is 13. If this matter involves a purchased activated serial number trapped on a crashed computer while you are trying to install on a 3rd computer, then probably Adobe Chat Activation can be of assistance. If that is the case and you want to explore that possibility, then click on the following link

You have a serial number. It's registered to your account. The rest is of no consequence. Contact support if you need to reset activations.
