Serial number is invalid Photoshop CS6

My computer (PC) died, I had Adobe Photoshop CS6 Extended. When I install on my new PC it says invalid key... I checked the number that is not the issue. I contacted support they told me I had a beta key... No idea what that means... I had the full version and never had any issues updating or asking me to activate ever.
They told me to post in here, and that this is where I will get my issue fixed, seems strange they wouldn't help me, and that I would get a resolution here but I appreciate any information!!!

Yes, it is a valid serial number, it's the one on my packaging. It was on my PC laptop no issues, the laptop died, I'm installing on a new one it says invalid key. I didn't get a change to unregister the other PC, maybe that is the issue, but adobe says that my key is a beta key and they won't help me, they say I have to buy full version, but I had full version. I feel ripped off, thanks again for all your help!

Forgotten serial number for Adobe Photoshop CS6?

Hi, I bought the education edition of Adobe Photoshop CS6 Extended on Amazon (I think) a couple of years ago.
I recently did a reset of my PC so everything is wiped and the OS is reinstalled. Now when I insert the CD it asks me for the serial number or else I can only use it for 30 days.
Problem is, I can't find my serial number; I have the CD and the box, but the box only has a sticker that says PRODUCT CODE: which isn't the serial number. I also can not find my email account that I linked this photoshop to, I honestly can't remember after these years.
What should I do?
Note: I am a student, and I know I had to show my eligibility when I first bought it so if I can somehow verify I am the student with the info you have on your servers, will I be able to reactivate my Photoshop?

Go to Adobe.com sign in with your Adobe id and password and the use this link Adobe ID to retrieve your Adobe product list when your cs6 is listed click on. Your serial will be retrieved and displayed.

Where do I find the serial number for my Photoshop CS6 Extended Teacher software?

I just purchased PS CS6 Extended Student and Teacher software. When I go to my account page that shows my products, it says I have to wait 24 hours to process the billing. I have already been charged on my credit card for the total amount. I was instructed in the chat room to download the trial version and then put in the serial number. I also am not sure where to go to download the program much less where to find the serial number. It is not in any of my e-mails that confirmed and helped me open my account.

Serial Number Error? - Photoshop CS6 Extended

Ok, I bought my product from BestBuy, student edition, and I finally got my serial number from identit-e. Now it's telling me to retry over and over again, my internet connection is fine, or try again in 7 days to validate my SN otherwise my software will stop working.
Is it something to do with what type of Windows I have, or what?

Call Adobe Support tomorrow and let them sort it out. Have them check the serial number to make sure it is valid. If not the copy you has either incorrect s/n assigned for a student version, or it is a counterfeit product. Keep your receipt.

When I try to reinstall CS6 Design and Web Prem i get message that my serial number (Design and Web Prem <serial number removed>) is not valid? Why???? I have it installed now on just one computer only. It was installed also on a computer and a laptop. The laptop crashed and couldn't restart anymore. I had to through it away. After that I installed on another computer at a place where I work sometimes with photoshop. Then suddenly I got message at my computer home that the serialnumber is invalid. I installed for the time an try out version, and now I have deleted the version that I had on the computer but when i want to reinstall my legal bought version with the serial number that i mention there, I get again the message that my serial number is invalid. But now it is only installed on 1 other computer. If I check the sites, I have to contact Adobe but I don't know how. The link does not work and I cannot find any phonenumber.!!

If you had it on a laptop that crashed and you threw away, it is still considered as activated on that machine. YOu should contact Adobe by chat or by phone and have them deactivate for you.

CS6 serial number now invalid?

I bought CS6 student and teacher edition a while ago. I had all sorts of problems with the initialization. I installed one version on my macbook pro and one version on my macbook air as I work from home on one and travel with the other. About 1 month ago my illustrator, in design and photoshop ceased to open. I get an error message saying that my serial number is invalid, and already used on a maximum of two machines, that I need a new serial number. I have only ever had the program installed on two machines. I tried to install it on my old macbook pro but it was too old to take the newer version of the software so I couldn't even install it, let alone activate it. (The new macbook pro was a replacement).
I have no idea what to do. Other than uninstall and reinstall all the programs which is a complete pain.

You are allowed to have two activated installations. If you happened to have one on this Windows 8 machine before, it is possible that the activation used for it was never deactivated (did you deactivate it before you upgraded Windows?). Just user to user....based on past and current history, Adobe Tech Support is not going to help you with a technical issue which is preventing you from using your purchased serial number for Photoshop Elements. Version 12 is not the current version. And, the Adobe Tech Support is limited even for the current version which is 13. If this matter involves a purchased activated serial number trapped on a crashed computer while you are trying to install on a 3rd computer, then probably Adobe Chat Activation can be of assistance. CS6 - cannot activate my product after changing my PC config - I did deactivate it on my previous configuration - "serial number is invalid"

I recently changed my desktop PC configuration and unfortunately I cannot activate my CS6 Web&Design serial number on it - I receive "serial number is invalid" message when trying to activate it. I do have an active installation on my laptop, but I don't want to remove it and I should be able to have two computers activated to my serial number. I did deactivate the product on my old desktop PC, so it's no longer tied to it and one activation should be free.
Any help or should I wait for tomorrow and use the chat?

First check if the installation media that you have is correct or not, check which product and version it says on the title bar of the Serial number window.
Download the correct installer according to the language and the Operating system.
Download CS6 products
Second the language, try changing the language in the End User license agreement windows at the beginning of the installation to either English(North America) or International English.
The language option is on the top left corner of the EULA window.

I entered it and it said it was invalid when I entered it in correctly. I have uninstalled the software and factory reset my Mac. Hi,
Did the serial number come from a boxed set and previously installed from disc and are you now trying to install from a download?
If so, that will not work - the serial numbers are different.
If you don't have a dvd drive on your new system, perhaps you could get someone to copy your disc to a memory stick and install from that.
