Serial number is not linked with model number

My Early 2008 Mac Pro's serial number is not linked to the model number in http://support.apple.com/specs/
I did find the model number off of my newegg order, but every time I call Apple support they can never look up my serial number. Who should I contact about this? At one point I suspected Newegg of selling counterfiet Mac Pros.

My contacts have not linked with the email when I want to send - why???

I have just downloaded Mozilla Thunderbird and imported my contacts as directed. When I go to send an email to any of my contacts the contact list does not appear. When I manually type the address it does not link with my contacts.
I am sure there is something very simple I am not doing, but I need to know what that simple thing is!!!

Have you followed [https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/thunderbird-and-gmail#w_useful-add-ons this guide] in order to setup your contacts? I personally recommend the Google Contacts add-on.
After configuring it, make sure your contacts are synced to Thunderbird by opening you Address Book and looking under the "Gmail" session.

You can debug your program and check. also please check if there is any deletion indicator in PR which doesnt turn up in the report.
in report please dont have status or PR selection field as mandatory because depending on the status/ processing PR, system may skip PR's as they may not meet required conditions.

PO Service not link with AP invoice service

Currently usiing SBO 2007A, SP-00, PL 49.
I have 1 PO service. Base on this PO service, I create AP Invoice service.
The account no. use in PO service is different from account no. use in AP Invoice service. Since account no. have been overwrite in AP Invoice.
PO service is missing link with AP Invoice.
When we open again the PO we couldn't find target document.
Also same when we open AP Invoice, we couldn't find base document, which is actually the PO.
Only in AP Invoice's remark we can find the PO no.
Also in the database, in AP Invoice table base document no. is blank.
Also it cause the PO not automatically close.
Previous PL, this error not exist.
Any one can help.

I moved by iTunes files to an external drive because I was changing computers. I then moved the files to the new computer. My iPod is not linking with the files on the computer. What can I do?

I moved my iTunes files from my old computer to an external hard drive. I then moved those files to the new computer. My computer and iPad are not linking up (recognizing each other?). I installed the latest version of iTunes onto the new computer to see if that would help. It did not--I got the message that an iPad can only be linked up with one computer and the new download would not work with this iPod. So the iTunes' library and my iPod are not connecting, and I have no way of installing or removing new songs onto my iPad. What should I do to correct this?

Can't open lotus notes links with acrobat reader XI

We had acrobat reader 9 a few month ago. We did an upgrade to XI. Since the upgrade, we can't open lotus notes link in PDF. I receve a message : Could not open the file 'Notes://<server>/85256E990056A5F7/428FA5DA3ED9D82485256E6D005FA7AB/ED916EF56E1CC50B85257 545005AB67B'. (<server> is the name of my server)
The path is working. I can paste it in run and it's working. If I downgrade to reader 9, the link work with the same PDF.
I did some trace with procmon and I can see acrobat trying to open C:\WINDOWS\system32\Notes:\<server>\85256E990056A5F7\428FA5DA3ED9D82485256E6D005FA7AB\ED9 16EF56E1CC50B85257545005AB67B
I can't find anything about this issue...
anybody has an idea?

Need Help: Pics not linking with edits

Hope I can be clear here...
I changed the top folder - deleted it. Mistake on my part, learned my lesson. This made the corresponding pix in LR go red - LR can't find where the original files are. My LR edits are still there though if you click on "develop" on any of the red files.
Is there a way to link my work to the files? Where are the file changes stored? Can I override this mistake? When I reimport the files they do import but do not link up with my LR edits.
SO, my database is a long list of red files with no top level folder. Underneath that long list is another long list of active files with the top level folder but no LR edits. I need to sync my original files with the LR edits.
Two years of work! Need to fix this. Ack. I refuse to let this go. There must be a way to fix this.

I think I may have a new insight. it's not so simple b/c a hard drive died and i had to relocate the images to another hard drive. the red folders, with the edits, is referencing a dead hard drive. the white folders, below it, which are all the same folders and pics, references the new active drive.
i think i need to know how to find the edits. to answer the other question, i did try to load the backups but it didn't work. i think they were too recent and were backups of the current drive.
what i think i need to do is find the old drive with the edits, but once i do, do i try to find the backups and then drag them to the new drive? i'm perplexed.

While attempting to lonin to Skype I get an error report since my Skype used to link with the Internet explorer.

I would first try unplugging All the USB devices plugged into your computer, and then plug back in just the iPhone and see if that is recognized. Also, do you have the latest version of iTunes for Windows installed on your PC, as you need to?

Replacement iPhone will not link with MB

I just received a replacement iPhone due to a bad battery. Although the original iPhone linked to the Bluetooth in my MB flawlessly, I cannot get my replacement to do the same.
I can authorize the phone and Mercedes shows it as linked, yet the iPhone does not see the MB bluetooth and will not link.
Any thoughts? Thanks!

Try resetting all network settings, and forgetting all pairing on the car's bluetooth as well.
Then try repairing.

ITunes podcast preview page will not link with itunes store in windows

My external url still connects correctly with the itunes preview page and opens the iTune's store in iTunes (versions 9 & 10) on my Mac but when I check the link on a windows vista pc, since the latest version of iTunes was made available, I cannot get beyond the preview page as iTunes is not recognised despite clicking on the 'already' installed link on the page.
Anyone having this problem since iTunes v10 was made available? I've tried it with the full url and the shortened url with the same results.

The recommended steps are:
1) Sign out of the iTunes Store by choosing Sign Out from the Store menu in iTunes.
2) Visit the My Apple ID website at:
http://appleid.apple.com
3) If the site is not displayed in your preferred language, click the Change Language link in the upper-right corner, type the name of your language in the field that appears, then click the Save button.
4) Click the "Manage your account" link.
5) Type your iTunes Store account name (which is your Apple ID) in the Apple ID field, type your password in the password field, then click the Sign In button.
6) Click "Addresses" in the column on the left. Look at your shipping addresses at the bottom. If you have multiple shipping addresses, remove any out-of-date or duplicate addresses by clicking Delete. Also, make sure the state or province field is filled out correctly for each address. To edit an address, click Edit.
7) Now click "Phone Numbers" on the left. The area codes should be in the area code fields and the phone numbers should be in the phone number fields. If an area code is missing, or if it is in a phone number field, your account information may not save properly.
8) Make any other necessary corrections, then click the Save Changes button.
9) Click Log out in the upper-right corner.

BIS Not Linking with the Phone

Good afternoon,
Somewhat confused as to why my Curve is now not allowing me to link any email accounts to the phone via the Setup function. I am on a plan that allows this with O2 and I have confirmed this with their support team.
Essentially, if I go onto the Menu then Setup and Email Settings I'm presented with a screen titled "BlackBerry Internet Service" and "Existing Users".
I have tried my BIS username and password, individual account username and passwords but neither work. Strangely if I put an email account address in and click on 'Ok' I get an error saying the entire field is empty.. which it isn't.
Any ideas?

Please try this FIRST, using your BlackBerry browser...
1)
• Go to mobile.blackberry.com
• Scroll down to Communication and then to Email.
• Choose the appropriate email set up options.
If that works and completes your email setup/editing, good.
If not, follow these additional instructions:
2) Register HRT: (OS5) Home Screen > Options > Advanced Options > Host Routing Table > Scroll to any line entry and > press the Menu key > and then click Register Now. If you have an OS 6 or OS 7 device, Look at Options > Device > Advanced > Host Routing Table, etc.
3) Resend Service Books: Article ID: KB02830 How to send the service books for a BlackBerry Internet Service account. http://www.blackberry.com/btsc/KB02830
4) Then, with the BlackBerry device POWERED ON, remove the battery for a minute, and then reinsert the battery to reboot. A reboot in this manner is prescribed for most glitches and operating system errors, and you will lose no data on the device doing this.
5) Now, return to the 1) mobile.blackberry.com email setup as mentioned above and follow that.

My email address is not linked with my skype name

I forgot my password and I asked Skype to send me a email with the indications to set a new one.
I received the email, but when I clicked on the link, in the options there wasn't my skypename of which I lost the password just my other Skypename.
I'm more than sure that I enter the right email for that Skypename since I only have one email address, what happened with my other Skypename? I used it 2 weeks ago.
How can I recover the password?

As per Niel's post, you've scrolled down to the bottom of the page to the 'Additional Information' section and clicked on the link to contact Support ?
If you decide not to provide a rescue email address, you can't reset your security questions and answers yourself later in the event you can't remember the answers to your questions. You'll need to contact iTunes Store support to have your questions and answers reset.
