Serial number issues with Photoshop Elements 12 installation

I have purchased Photoshop Elements 12 for my Mac.  The installation only allows for a 24/28 digit number.  My serial number has 30 digits.  Help?

    I have an old laptop which has been misplaced/lost which has Photoshop Elements installed on it. I now have a new machine and wish to install it on the new machine but it wont let me. I gather because of the fact that it is licensed for 1 machine. What do I have to do in order to install it on the new machine with the same serial number?

    You don't say which version of PSE. Are you getting a message that you already have PSE installed on two computers or that your serial number is invalid?

    If the latter, what is the message and which operating system and version of PSE?

    I purchased the student edition of photoshop elements 12 and premier elements 12.  The guided download process only installed the premier portion, and not photoshop.  I downloaded the trial version and attempted to apply the serial number, but that does not work.  What gives?

    You can activate any two of them at a time, but if you want to use it on a third computer you will need to deactivate one of them before you can do so. To do that, go to Help>Sign Out.

    i'm trying to install photoshop elements 13 multiple languages mac that i downloaded tonight online. i purchased photoshop elements 13 and premiere elements 13 as a package a few days ago on line but it appears that what I purchased was for windows and not for mac. I have a serial number for each (photoshop elements 13 and premiere elements 13). The installer is not accepting the serial number as valid for some reason. I'm guessing that the problem was caused by the fact that what I bought was english windows and what i downloaded as mac -- which is what i need. help me please!

    My serial number for adobe photoshop elements 12 and premiere elements 12 does not work.  On adobe.com it shows that the serial number I received is associated with adobe photoshop elements 9 and premiere elements 9.  I have purchased those products in the past, but just recently upgraded to elements 12.  I can use the the photoshop organizer, but can't open the photoshop editor.

    You need to contact Adobe Support either by chat or via phone when you have serial number and activation issues.

  • Elusive Serial Number on box (Photoshop Elements 11) bought from Amazon

    Have been trying to set up Photoshop.  Can't get past the serial number stage!  Looked at box, smaller box inside, all inserts.  The only numbers appear on the outer box, to the left of the official Adobe sticker.  However, there is NOTHING labelled as "Serial Number"  There are 2 bar codes - one has an 18 digitcode.  The other has a two letter : 8 digit set above the bar code and underneath there is a 12 digit set with spaces thus x   xxxxx  xxxxx   x
    Can anyone advise me?

    I feel like a real idiot - the sleeve with the serial number had fallen on the floor and I had not realized this.  Have now found the data I need.  Many thanks though for the rapid reply.

    If you registered PSE, go to the main page of adobe.com and look for My Adobe, then work through the links there and you will find a list of your adobe products and their serial numbers.

    Do you have the receipt? If you have proof of ownership, you _may_ be able to persuade Customer Support to help you out.  I imagine you would need to scan and email that proof if it works at all.
