Serial Number missing

Hi,
I have been using Aperture since Xmas (was a Xmas present). I tried opening Aperture today to edit my new holiday photos, and it said I need to enter the serial number (I did this already when I first received the product).
I have looked everywhere, and although I have the installation disc and the manuals, I do not seem to have the box with the serial number on it.
Is there anyway to retrieve my serial number from when I originally registered the product? Any ideas why it simply "forgot" it was previously registered?
Background info: the screen on my macbook pro stopped working about 3 weeks ago. I took it in for repairs and the graphics card was replaced. This is the first time I used Aperture since getting the MBP back. I also noticed that when I opened iTunes for the first time, I had to accept the terms, even though it wasn't a new copy.

in the future it would be best to keep the boxes and ALL paperwork for apps as you will often need your serial number in most future upgrades

In Design CS5.5 serial number missing

i have the Indesign CS5.5 installed in one machine, now i change the machine but i am missing the serial number so i can activate the new installation. i've tried to register my installed copy of Indesign but nothing changed and it's not listed on my purchased items in my Adobe account.

Serial number missing in delivery

Hi
One of my clients has an issue with a delivery.
Previously a delivery was made on an order, the TO, then invoice. In fact several invoices were created and then cancelled.
TO was also cancelled. And eventually delivery.
A new delivery has been created but upon saving the client gets message - delivery no complete.
Checking incompleteness reason I found out that the problem is due to missing serial numbers in two item lines.
Where does one add the serial numbers?

Please go to VL02N transaction enter your delivery document then go in to that here you select the items then you go to menu Extras--> click on Serial numbers now sytem will take you to the serial number maintenance screen here you can maintain the allowed serial numbers to those items.

Serial Number Missing in IQ03

Dear Guru..
I have questions about serial number that is blank in IQ03.
First, I run tcode IQ03 to see all material serial number, and I write parameter only material number without serial number.
And when executed, it is indicated that there are no serial numbers required. But when I try to fill parameter using material number and serial number, it shows that there is such equipment with material number and serial number in question. And My question, why serial number is missing when I fill only material number in IQ03, but It's not missing when I fill both material number and serial number?
And Also, if I check into IE02, it seems that funloc is blank even the status of equipment is installed to funcloc.

Which version of ECC you are using. in normal if you fill only the Material number in IQ03 you will get the following Warning message "No unique combination of article number and serial number" and then it will show a list with material with serial number.
I use ECC6 version. warning "No unique combination of article number and serial number" is common warning, my problem is, there is no serial number I want to review.
For example Matnr : 31232-21 and S/N : 2330.
when I fill only Matnr, there will be no serial number mentioned before. but if I fill boh P/N and S/N, there is an equipment with Part number and serial number mentioned.
Is there any solution why serial number is missing?

Serial Number Missing after Logic Board Replacement

I have a xeon xserve (2007) here that had its logic board replaced under warranty. I am now trying a remote install of a new OS (10.5). While trying the first 8 of the server's original serial number as a temp password (in Server Assistant and ssh), I realized that the serial must have changed in the logic board swap. Of course, the plastic tab in the back still has the old serial and MAC addresses on it, but the guys at the repair place (tekserve) at least stuck one sticker with the new MAC address onto the back.
Now, I booted into the old OS and found that the system serial number is simply missing form System Profiler (Both GUI and CLI).
Is there a way to set a new serial? This is making the system virtually useless as a headless install.

The main board in my MacBook Pro c2d was just replaced with a board whose serial number was "System Serial#". I thought that might be the reason that Time Machine doesn't recognise my backups. I changed the serial to my original with the bootable "Blank Board Serializer , v.3T106, part number 693-6430" from

Time Machine still wants to do a full backup. It has many reasons to not do what it's told.

Plz. help me, we are creating depot excise invoice through J1IJ transaction during this transaction some times system will skiped RG23D Folio number and serial number, some times Excise Invoice serial number also skiped and entry will be posting completed without any error, due to this problem every time we have to canceled document and create new one.
This type of problem occure some times, so plz. help what we do for resolve it.

Serial number missing from Lightroom activation e-mail.

As a Pixmantec RS Premium user I recieved my Lightroom 1.0 activation email yesterday. When I clicked on the link in IE7 there was no serial number. I tried to cut and paste into Firefox and again there was no serial number. Now I am left out in the cold with the following message:
"Sorry but we are unable to fulfill your download request. The URL has already been used."
Whilst Adobe said that the URL would be available for one download only the activation email said nothing about turning off email filters or what to do in the event of there not being a serial number present. I can't believe I am the only person to have experienced this problem. If anyone out there has had the same problem I would love to see how you are getting on as the last 24 hours have been so frustrating.

Thank you - but that was the main problem. I couldn't call Apple support about another problem, because they required my serial number. However, I just figured it out. When I clicked on the operating system, as in the past ,something apeared, but it wasn't the serial number. It seems that in Mountain Lion, you need to click AGAIN, and then the serial number appears.

I got a new serial number sticker to put on the stand base. It also inckuded the new MAC Address for network use.
I would call and see if they can send you one.

But since techs are not themselves given (allowed) too much information, my feeling is that some of them do things in a different way, depending on how they understand it.
AASPs and Specialists do not alter serial number information in any way whatsoever, including transfer or assignment of serial number to new components. They are not given the proper tools to do it, and thus aren't supposed to hop into NetInfo or a text editor and change language project strings.
The French serial number assigned erroneously to that fellow's board got there because it was a refurbished board whose original serial number had never been wiped or Apple themselves assigned the wrong number, not because an inattentive service tech did anything wrong.
Now, if some service tech DID decide to take it upon himself or herself to hack a serial number there, you still need to contact Apple, 'cause that isn't supposed to happen, and you still don't have a proper serial attached to the board.
Believe me on this one.
