Serial number not eligible to update to LION when it is bought from apple store after june 6.
I bought a macbook pro on the 13th July 2011 using the Apple online Store (Singapore) , wanted to upgrade to lion today but when i am redeeming the codes. It says serial number is not eligible.
I am also just buy a macbook pro day 11 July on the Apple online store and tells me my serial is not eligible I feel cheated

Where did you purchase this. The US phones do not come with the SIM removal tool anymore. They haven't for some time now. I'm not even sure it comes with any of the devices anymore. You can just straighten out a paper clip and do the same thing.

I Cant get any FREe apps from apple store after i upgrade ios7.0.4 and reset my apple id password. It says u should give your card number but i did'nt have any begor this i could get free apps but now i cant ,what should i do?

Please help!! I have iPhone 4.Version 6.1.3.I have upload and purchased a lot of things from Apple store.It was Music free icon Japanese media,also Movie uploader icon.I was intended to open but requested to sign in and I was registered in You tube and Google.The Video has been opened and after 5 min,everything stopped.Screen Touch dont recognize anything.I mean I was trying to close the video but screen touch was not reacting.After I have switched off/on the iPhone but no result.I can switch on but cant press the buttons.And there is a voice which is just repeating if you are trying to press the button.Now I dont know what to do ? No, I have not tried any backup tools. I havent restored my ipod back to factory settings yet and then sync everything back on it. I am kind of scared too because I dont want to lose anything. I have just been hoping some new apple software update will come out because I know several people have had problems when updating to the newest version available.

Today I tried to update my Logic Pro 9 to Logic pro 9.0.1.
I logged in, welcome message, was asked to enter my Logic Studio 2.0 upgrade serial number which I did: The serial number I entered is not valid.
My history: Logic 5.5.1. with XSkey, updated in april 2009 to Logic pro 8, 8.0.2. (registered my serial number)
Bought upgrade Logic Studio 2 (Logic pro 9) and everything works o.k.
My Mac Pro is a "just for studio music" computer I have no internet on it.
The update I try to get is via my (Windows) home computer.I read the post of Mr. Pandamonium in the Topic : Logic Pro 9.0.1 released

So I went to the site, clicked on the link, came on the apple site with a link to the update.

SIM Card Not Supported. Never Hacked iPhone Bought From Apple Store!
My 3GS was stolen yesterday. I have my never hacked iPhone 2G that I wanted to re-activate so I went down to the ATT store and they gave me a new sim to put in and activate. iTunes says that the SIM is not supported. Went back and tried another SIM and no luck. After 2 hours at the store still no working phone.
I never hacked the phone, just always updated it with the latest apple software. It sat in a drawer for a year now until my 3GS was stolen. Restore didn't help.
ANY IDEAS?Mmmm...the sim you're trying to use is activated, correct? If so, try this:
See if you can force the phone into recovery mode:
Leave the USB cable connected to your computer, but NOT your phone, itunes running, press & hold the home button while connecting the USB cable to your dock connector, continue holding the home button until you see “Connect to iTunes” on the screen. You may now release the home button. iTunes should now display that it has detected your phone in recovery mode, if not quit and reopen iTunes. If you still don’t see the recovery message repeat these steps again. iTunes will give you the option to restore from a backup or set up as new. You, of course, would chose "new". -

HI- whenever I use the imessage app on my macbook and send messages to people, it shows my icloud email instead of my phone number, is there a way to change that?
If your number is not showing up, click on add email address and enter your phone number. Then make sure that you have that checks and set as the default. See pic below.

Install or Reinstall Lion/Mountain Lion from Scratch
Be sure you backup your files to an external drive or second internal drive because the following procedure will remove everything from the hard drive.
Boot to the Recovery HD:
Restart the computer and after the chime press and hold down the COMMAND and R keys until the menu screen appears. Alternatively, restart the computer and after the chime press and hold down the OPTION key until the boot manager screen appears. Select the Recovery HD and click on the downward pointing arrow button.
Erase the hard drive:
1. Select Disk Utility from the main menu and click on the Continue button.
2. After DU loads select your startup volume (usually Macintosh HD) from the
left side list. Click on the Erase tab in the DU main window.
3. Set the format type to Mac OS Extended (Journaled.) Optionally, click on
the Security button and set the Zero Data option to one-pass. Click on
the Erase button and wait until the process has completed.
4. Quit DU and return to the main menu.
Reinstall Lion/Mountain Lion: Select Reinstall Lion/Mountain Lion and click on the Install button.
Note: You will need an active Internet connection. I suggest using Ethernet if possible
because it is three times faster than wireless. -

When updating an app thru the Apple Store in IOS7 it does not go away when updated like it did in IOS6. I have a weeks worth up completed updates showing open when I go to the Apple Store. How do we deleted these completed upgrades.
Fixed this with apple care. Had a unique situation. Will share by email if interested.

Logic Studio Serial Number not accepted for Logic Studio 9 updates
I just purchased an upgrade from Logic Express to Logic Studio 9. I wanted to download the updates to current versions from http://www.apple.com/logicstudio/download/, but my serial number wasn't accepted on that page. I've checked the numbers (I copied them from the registration dialog just before pressing return - yes, the letters are all caps). Is there anything else I can try? Thanks.
I've seen lots of people posting about their serial not working yesterday, and experiencing it myself with my own serial.

I'm guessing their gateway server that authorizes the download by verifying your serial number had "issues" yesterday, probably caused by demand. I'm sure Apple posted the direct download page because of this.

Upgrading to Lion
If your computer does not meet the requirements to install Mountain Lion, it may still meet the requirements to install Lion.
You can purchase Lion by contacting Customer Service: Contacting Apple for support and service - this includes international calling numbers. The cost is $19.99 (as it was before) plus tax. It's a download. You will get an email containing a redemption code that you then use at the Mac App Store to download Lion. Save a copy of that installer to your Downloads folder because the installer deletes itself at the end of the installation.

Im trying to update my bios but cant seem to find it anywhere, ive uninstalled all hp application of my computer, so hp updating my bios while i dont know about seems pretty hard to do, where can i find it
It seems that my bios has lost its information, i phoned Hp about it and it appears my computer needs to be retatood or something along them lines, as my warranty has past i would have to pay £200 to get it fixed (rip off I know) they said this could be down to changing the hardware (i have not touched anything inside my computer as im not great with hardware aspect of computers, i am with software though. After i seen the "serial number not found" message appear i started to get messages like "please activate windows you have 30 days remaining (something along them lines) i have tried entering the product key thats on the bottom of the computer but some of the key has wear on it which makes it hard to read, so i tried a factory restall and hell broke loose, im getting error messages that i cannot use this factory installed partition thats on my hard drive.
Please help, im not paying for hp mistakes is there anything i can do, or something in there t&c that makes this there problem as they design motherboards to fail like this?
