I have purchased a new computer, and installed Acrobat XI Std. When activating, it asks for qualifying product. I select Acrobat 8 std and enter serial number from old computer. Message then displays "This serial number is not for a qualifying product. Please try another"

Missiejackson the error you are experiencing is likely due to a previous installation of Adobe Creative software. Please use the available uninstallers in the Programs and Features control panel to remove any installed software. Once this is done you will want to run the CC Cleaner Tool to ensure complete removal. Installed successfully, but can't update. Error "Serial Number is not for qualifying product"

I installed Adobe Creative Suite Production Premium (CS5) on a new PC (Windows 8.1). Installation was successful. I uninstalled it on old PC and de-activated it. My problem is that I can't Update. Without Updates, I can't read newer Canon photos (so I can't use Bridge or PhotoShop). In doing the install the first time, I put in an incorrect Adobe product number (I think from Elements 8.0, which I purchased years ago). I have re-installed twice using the correct serial number, but same result: I can't Update the programs and get a "Serial Number is not for qualifying product" error.. Please help. Dave

Upgraded from CS5 to CS6 - Serial number not for a qualifying product. Chat not available

I get a page saying "serial number not for a qualifying product. Please try another. " during install. I upgraded from Design Standard CS5 to Design Standard CS6 .
Also, Chat is never available to me. 6 tries to no avail so far.
Any help would be most appreciated or if someone knows how else I can contact Adobe as Chat is never available.

It's asking you or prompting you to input the old serial number of the version that you used to upgrade to your new version.

I recently upgraded to CS6 Production Premium from PP CS5.5. I'm running the programs but everytime I open one of the programs in the suite I get this message: Serial Number Upgrade "serial number you provided is valid, but a qualifying production could not be found on this computer." I then choose Production Premium CS5.5 from the product list and enter my serial and then I get "this serial number is not for a qualifying product. Please try another." I quit the adobe registration program and I can still use my CS6 programs but it constantly pops up.

I've seen this sometimes when the languages do not match, between the earlier and the new product. Could you verify that you selected the correct language.

If you have a volume license serial number then you need to download the volume license installation files from https://licensing.adobe.com/.

I ordered the disc for CS6, but got antsy so downloaded CS6 Extended. I go to put in my # and there is no drop down for CS6, only CS6 Extended, so I put in my # and it says not for a qualifying product. Hmmm, what to do?

It seems to me that you're talking about Photoshop CS6. Using a trial version, till the time the disc arrives is not an issue.
PS Cs6 Extended will convert to standard Photoshop when you enter a serial number that belongs to standard version.
The issue seems to be the serial number, which is being flagged invalid.
The serial number can be invalid, if you ordered an Upgrade from a previous version, and the installer is unable to find an old installation on your computer.
If you install an upgrade on a fresh computer, you'll be prompted for the serial number twice: once for qualifying product (old Photoshop, CS5 perhaps) and once that is entered, for the new serial number.
So do you have the serial number for an earlier version of Photoshop? If not, please check your order details and see if you ordered an upgrade or a fresh licence.

When I tried to type this in for registration, it does register as this numbers also contain letters in it. Apparently the registration boxes accept numbers only. What do I do with a useless product for which I have paid good money for it?????

This is the simple solution which was offered to me when I tried to get the serial code on line.
The box and disc sleeve do not contain a series with 24 numbers which I presume is the product code to install.
I tried to redeem the registration code by following what they recommended, but inevitably it gets to the page that showed the registration boxes that need 24 serial numbers and I got stuck again.
This product is so different what my previous experiences of other software products where I just enter the serial number straight from the disc sleeve and then I got registered and go on to use the software.
I is really frustrating, spending the last two hours trying to get my product going....

Stock data of serial number not suitable for movement

We have a situation where we have had to put some serialized parts on a rework production order. When we are trying to bring them back into stock, we're getting a message that says "Stock data of serial number not suitable for movement." I'm guessing that this is because this serial number had existed in stock before (since this is a rework of an existing material/serial number.) We need to receive this back into stock using this same serial number. How is that possible?

hello all I am Brazilian and my computer is in Portuguese bought the LR 5 here in japan and downloaded the LR in the adobe site try turning the key to activate a message appears saying that the number is invalid which will

1. Make sure you have ADMIN privileges.
2. Manually enter the serial number. Many people have an same issue (cut and paste) and there ends up being a leading or trailing space.
3. Use zeros (no "o"s). Use ones (no "i"s)
4. Make sure the serial number is for the version you actually installed, not an older version.
