Serial Number not recognized for upgrade

I entered the Serial Number on the back of the box for Adobd PHhotoshop CS3, but received an error message which said it was invalid and to contact customer support. Does Customer Support monitor this Forum? How do I contact them?

that’s where I was already - how do I contact a real person I can talk to on the phone or live chat online?

Not sure where to post this question as it pertains to Snow Leopard....
Just bought a new imac but its Serial Number is not being recognized on the Snow Leopard Up to Date page. The serial number is recognized elsewhere, such as the warranty check page.

That's a shame. But I suspect it's temporary. I think you get 90 days from the date of purchase to get the free upgrade. I assume that Apple will be better able to deal with this issue as we get closer to the release date.
Meanwhile, we are not Apple employee's and can not speak for the company or guess what the problem is. Apple does have a direct Feedback site that they do read and respond to:

Serial number "not qualifying" for upgrade

Everything works great through the PURCHASING process, but as soon as I try to use the expensive "upgrade" from ACROBAT PRO 9 to ACROBAT PRO XI, I'm told my Pro 9 SN doesn't qualify. Why? (Mac)
FYI - "chat" is useless on a Sunday apparently. So much for 24/7. I see this question has been asked multiple times without any resolve for anyone in the last TWO YEARS.

To answer your email about a replacement SN:
Why would I need a replacement when I already had a VALID full version SN? The issue has been taken care of, though it took a lot of unnecessary rigmarole to get there. I’ve been paying for full versions for over a decade (maybe 2?), so there’s no good reason for the hassle I’ve been through, but offering a replacement is a nice attempt at a solution, but it’s also a bit of a slap in the face, as if I’m trying to get one over on Adobe when it’s Adobe making it difficult/impossible for legitimate upgrades to be made hassle-free.

J’ai acheté LR 4 il y a 1 an avec le n° de série sur la boite. J’ai acheté l’upgrade pour LR 5 et je n’ai jamais pu installer la version définitive avec ce n° de série.Ce n° de série n'est pas valide. La durée version d’essai est terminée et donc je dois retourner à LR 4 pour continuer à travailler ? Pourquoi cela ne fonctionne pas?

n° IEE2014000174985 mais je n'ai pas de trace d'un nouveau n° de série. Il n'est pas sur la facture, ni dans le logiciel?

Stock data of serial number not suitable for movement

We have a situation where we have had to put some serialized parts on a rework production order. When we are trying to bring them back into stock, we're getting a message that says "Stock data of serial number not suitable for movement." I'm guessing that this is because this serial number had existed in stock before (since this is a rework of an existing material/serial number.) We need to receive this back into stock using this same serial number. How is that possible?

PakeMaker 6.52 serial number not recongized when upgrading

I have been using PageMaker 6.52 until my recent upgrade to Windows 7 which PageMaker will not run under. I purchased a used copy of Indesign 2.0 (upgrade version) on eBay. When trying to install, I get an error that the Indesign install program does not recogzine my PageMaker serial number. I telephoned support and got nowhere when tried to explain the problem as the overseas call center did not understand the problem and language (English) was a barrier.
I had ugraded my PageMaker several times over the years, and as I recall, PageMaker retained the original serial number. The support center told me my serial number was for ver. 1.0 and not eligible for upgrade. However, this is the correct serial number for my copy of 6.5 and this the number shown when PageMaker is running (Help - About).
How can I get Indesign activated? How can I talk to someone stateside that speaks understandable English? Thank you for your help.

You are on your own here with version 2.0 upgrade.
This is an old problem and a known issue with PM 6 upgrades to InDesign not recognizing upgraded serial numbers of PM. Search the forums for more data from discussions on this (start here: http://forums.adobe.com/message/1285142#1285142)
And I am afraid you are out of luck with Adobe on this as they only support the most recent version, ID CS4 (until CS5 ships shortly), at this time. If you can get any help from them on this count yourself lucky. There may be an Adobe info or data page on this in their Knowledge Base archives but you'll get that in any search you make within this web site.
Also, as a caveat, InDesign didn't convert PM6 files well at all until version 5 (CS3), from what I read here on this forum. And ID version 2 isn't supported in Windows 7 (but it may run fine) so no love from Microsoft either.

If you buy from Best Buy to go to your website, but it is not available. Is there any way to find out what the serial number would be for this product? Construction worker.

MIGO - GR - Others -- Serial Number Not saved for Movement Type : 561

Hello,
I am trying to post good receipt-other ( for movement type 561) using MIGO transaction. I have specified all required data.
Also depending on the item qty., I entered serial number in serial number tab.
Its creating document successfully. However if I try to display same document using MIGO, serial number is missing.
I tried to debug the code and I realized its not saving serial number itself.
For other movement type its creating document with correct serial number.
If I repeat same process using same data using transaction MB11 its posting successfully and I can see serial number using MIGO transaction as well.
One more thing which I've noticed is when I post document using MIGO, Account assignment details are missing. However with MB11 I can see account assignment data too.
Would be really appreciated if someone can help me on this. I dont know If I'm missing any configuration part here.

Full version of Adobe Acrobat XI Pro for Mac - serial number not recognized

I just bought the full version of Adobe Acrobat XI Pro for Mac as a download. I installed it, but it does not recognize the serial number which Adobe sent me!! Does anyone know a solution to this bizarre problem?

Unfortunately, your suggestion doesn't resolve my problem. I never had an older version of Acrobat (9 or 10) installed on this computer, which is a completely new Mac.
The only Acrobat package I had previously is the TRIAL version of Acrobat Pro XI ...

Cs5 serial number not allowed for cs6 upgrade?

I am trying to install CS6 Design Premium (via CD) and have CS5. However I am denied installation because my CS5 serial number is not allowed (it appears I must have CS5.5). All phone lines are engaged. As well as frustrating, this would seem a very poor 'stealth' trick. I have countless registered Adobe copies going back years and saw no warning re this possibility prior to purchase. Is installing from CS5 impossible?

phew! I took your advice and after many dropped phone connections, I was able to speak to Prashant (Adobe service rep in India) who was able to take create a (temporary) support number for me to type in to the registration dialogue via the challenge code procedure. This appeared to bypass the registration dropdown issue and so allowed me to register... at last!
In retrospect I am very grateful for your help and my good fortune in being able to speak to Prashant who was able to fix the problem over the phone. However I suspect this problem may occur to others and the solution seems far from easy when long phone queues and dropped connections add to the tortuous minefield of what is simply meant to be a registration process!

Why does my cs5 serial number not qualify for an upgrade?

I input the serial number for my cs5 product in order to quality for the adobe customers special and it doesn't qualify. Any idea why? I wanted to chat with an Adobe representative but was only given the forum as an option.

What KIND of CS5 do you have... regular or volume license or OEM that came with a computer or education or ???

Serial number not working with upgrade from production studio

I have an old WinXP with the first Adobe CS Production Studio Premium that I've been using for more than six years.
I recently had to reinstall my system and now I have an install error with serial number. The Prod Studio Prem is an upgrade
to the Video Collection Standard. It errors on the screen when it ask for the previous version of AfterEffect and Encore.
I had this issue before. Adobe support provided me another number and it worked.
The odd thing about it is the install asks for AE 3.0 or later and I have AE6.5. It also asks for Encore 1.0 or later and I have Encore 1.0 & 1.5. If I can remember back several year when I called ADOBE support they said even though I qualified for the upgrade the issue probably was with the previous AE standard serial number wasn't working in the install screen. I've lost the new serial numbers now and I'm unable to reinstall.
I'm not upgrading until next year. How can I get this working until then?

if you don't have the old version installed you'll be prompted for both the serial number of the old version and the upgrade. you have to use the correct serials when prompted.

I bought Acrobat Standard XI off the Adobe website. When installing the serial number is not recognized. The drop down box for selecting which product I bought has a selection for Standard X but not Standard XI.
