Serial number not working in trial

Hi there we received our serial number yesterday for After Effects CS4 (windows) and I have tried placing this code in the boxes provided (when the prompt appears on the trial version) but it tells me the number is incorrect. I have uninstalled the trial version from my machine and downloaded the version from my LWS area but it still comes up with the trail version and prompts.
Can you please tell me what I need to do to rectify the problem?

Try re-installing it in your admin account.  I had the same issue this evening while re-installing the Web Premium CS4.  I forgot that Adobe wants you to install their products in your admin account.  I logged off, logged into my admin account and the installer accepted the serial numbers.

    The most likely explanation is that you downloaded the Creative Cloud version of Lightroom instead of the standalone version of Lightroom (which you can download from here).
    If that doesn't work, you'd need to provide a lot more details, including version of Lightroom, operating system, and exactly what you are doing that doesn't work.

    The license is for two copies of Photoshop by one user on two different computers that can not be used at the same time.Contact Adobe customer service by phone.  Only they can help you.
    They will deactivate both copies of Photoshop.

    I just wiped my macbook pro harddrive and upgraded to Lion OSX. I bought the CS5 Design Premium last year (in a case). Unfortunately, my discs are unavailable, but I do have the correct serial number. When I downloaded the CS5.5 Design premium trial (to plug in my serial number), it says it isn't valid. Is there a place that I can download the CS5 Design Premium Suite so that my serial number will work? Help! I'm a photographer and I need PS to work immediately!

    Maddiewilbur have you lost your installation media or is it just unavailable for the moment?  If you will have access to the installation media at a later time I would recommned installing the trial of Design Premium CS5.5 and then remove it and install CS5 once you have access to it.

    I got an email last Wednesday that said I was out of downloads. I followed the link, purchased some more and received an email from Adobe with a serial number. When I put the serial number in it says that "serial number not valid".
    I've gone through 20 layers of customer support at Adobe and nothing has been resolved. I tried the serial number agian this morning and still got the serial number is not valid.
    I need to get to the right person at Adobe.

I was informed that via the Adobe Partner Connection portal I can install an NFR extended trial copy of Adobe eLearning suite 6.1 for demo and training purposes. So I downloaded this software (version 6.1 WIN) from the website above but the serial number provided on the same page is not working with the message "The serial number you entered is invalid. Please try again. If the problem persists contact support".I am sure that I am typing the correct one (as I find it on the web page), tried several times, also tried copy-paste to be sure.

    Was the same for me. This is actually because the field where you put in your personal information is no scrollable window. Mark the text with the additional information at the bottom of this white screen with the mouse and pull it further down. This "scrolls" the window down and revels the download button. This solved it for me.
    But still the serial number is not working for me.

    My macbook had to be rebuilt due to a software problem. Lightroom 5 has been deleted. I tried re-installing lightroom (downloaded) and can use the trial version etc. However, when I tried to put my serial number in, it did not work. This is probably because it is on my desktop machine too.
    How can I contact adobe? Can they send a new serial number?

    Lightroom serial numbers are platform interdependent.
    You can use the same serial number on the Mac as well.
    Please make sure you are using the right serial number on the right installer.

I only have it on my old desktop now which I'm using to print from my epson 3800 and I'm a little scared to uninstall that. Can I just use the cs3 trial for now and enter the serial number lately. Will  the cs3 trial mess up downloading the cs5 trial? Thx, Mark

    What message does it fail with, specifically?  That would help answer your question.
    If you can no longer deactivate your Photoshop CS3 license from an old system because it's no longer running, you may well be able call Adobe's customer support line and get them to reset the activation information in their server database for you, by explaining your situation to them.

  • Design Standard CS 5.5 serial number not working for Photoshop

    I am trying to install the Design Standard CS 5.5 but am having trouble with Photoshop.  All of the programs installed and open correctly except for Photoshop.  When I try to launch it, the Adobe Application Manager comes up saying that the serial number is "not valid for this product."  The serial seemed to work during the install and both InDesign and Illustrator launch without any problems.  I have also tryed uninstalling and then reinstalling Photoshop, but I still have the same problem.  I am running Mac OS X 10.6.8.

    Are you definitely installing Design Premium CS5, not a similar sounding Creative Suite? And not CS5.5?
