Serial number not working

Hi all, I am trying to install Design Standard CS4 on my new laptop.
I have an Adobe CS4 folder on my desktop, opened the Illustrator folder, opened Adobe CS4 and double clicked on setup Application (2,942kb) It goes through testing the system (and generally tells me to shut down firefox which I do). Then I get the screen asking for the serial number or if I want to use the trial. I try to enter the serial number that is on my account for design standard CS4 but it isn't accepted. Can someone please shed some light on what I might be doing wrong?
I chatted to someone from Adobe in chat but unfortunately they were unable to help me. It actually took me a few attempts to even convince them that I should have Illustrator

EmmsieK is the serial number showing up as registered and valid under your account at http://www.adobe.com/. You can find more information on how to locate your serial number at Find your serial number quickly - http://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/global/find-serial-number.html.
If you have verified that it is registered successfully then did you transfer/copy/migrate any of your applications or files from your old computer?

The most likely explanation is that you downloaded the Creative Cloud version of Lightroom instead of the standalone version of Lightroom (which you can download from here).
If that doesn't work, you'd need to provide a lot more details, including version of Lightroom, operating system, and exactly what you are doing that doesn't work.

The license is for two copies of Photoshop by one user on two different computers that can not be used at the same time.Contact Adobe customer service by phone. Only they can help you.
They will deactivate both copies of Photoshop.

Lightroom5 Serial Number not working - GRRRR!

I've recently bought a copy of Lightroom 5, but the serial number I received in the confirmation email to upgrade my copy of the software from a trial package to the real deal does not work. Any tips on how to get a new serial number or make this original one work??

Purchasing additional download bundle, serial number not working

I got an email last Wednesday that said I was out of downloads. I followed the link, purchased some more and received an email from Adobe with a serial number. When I put the serial number in it says that "serial number not valid".
I've gone through 20 layers of customer support at Adobe and nothing has been resolved. I tried the serial number agian this morning and still got the serial number is not valid.
I need to get to the right person at Adobe.

Adobe CS5.5 Design Premium Serial Number Not Working

I just wiped my macbook pro harddrive and upgraded to Lion OSX. I bought the CS5 Design Premium last year (in a case). Unfortunately, my discs are unavailable, but I do have the correct serial number. When I downloaded the CS5.5 Design premium trial (to plug in my serial number), it says it isn't valid. Is there a place that I can download the CS5 Design Premium Suite so that my serial number will work? Help! I'm a photographer and I need PS to work immediately!

Maddiewilbur have you lost your installation media or is it just unavailable for the moment? If you will have access to the installation media at a later time I would recommned installing the trial of Design Premium CS5.5 and then remove it and install CS5 once you have access to it.

Design Standard CS 5.5 serial number not working for Photoshop

I am trying to install the Design Standard CS 5.5 but am having trouble with Photoshop. All of the programs installed and open correctly except for Photoshop. When I try to launch it, the Adobe Application Manager comes up saying that the serial number is "not valid for this product." The serial seemed to work during the install and both InDesign and Illustrator launch without any problems. I have also tryed uninstalling and then reinstalling Photoshop, but I still have the same problem. I am running Mac OS X 10.6.8.

Are you definitely installing Design Premium CS5, not a similar sounding Creative Suite? And not CS5.5?

Adobe eLearning suite 6.1 extended trial for Partners - Serial Number not working

We are new Adobe Certified Resellers. I was informed that via the Adobe Partner Connection portal I can install an NFR extended trial copy of Adobe eLearning suite 6.1 for demo and training purposes. So I downloaded this software (version 6.1 WIN) from the website above but the serial number provided on the same page is not working with the message "The serial number you entered is invalid. Please try again. If the problem persists contact support".I am sure that I am typing the correct one (as I find it on the web page), tried several times, also tried copy-paste to be sure.

Serial number not working, not disk doesn't work (mac copy)

I've just brought a new Mac Mini installed my Photoshop CS3 onto it. When I opened the application my serial number wouldn't work because I've used it too many times. My last computer crashed, so I can't take Photoshop off it. I followed a tutorial which had two options:
1. reset the clock on your computer uninstall and re-install.
2. delete the following folders in /Library/Application Support/Adobe: Adobe PCD, backup and caps. And re-install
Now when I try to install Photoshop CS3 it doesn't even install! There is a cross instead of a tick next to everything. I've tried repair disk in Disk Utilities, and I was told that there was nothing wrong with the CD.
Is there a way to fix this?

Now you are not even able to install the software and gettingthe red cross as soon as enter your serial number.
hence follow this step:-
1) Run the cleaner tool for CS3 , www.adobe.com/support/contact/cscleanertool.html
2) delete the files ;- /Library/Application Support/Adobe: Adobe PCD, backup and caps
3) Re-install the software ,

I purchased Adobe Suite through my college. It is now saying I have completed a trial... but I have a serial number that will not work. I have had the suite for over a year without problems until now.

Serial number not working any suggestions

     My computer died on me last January and I had to reinstall everything and after reinstalling lightroom 2 it would not accept the serial number that I had . I called adobe and after giving me several new serial numbers ( none that would work ) they finally issued me a 3.0 serial number to use after the Beta version went live .
     Well the serial number that they gave me for 3.0 doesn't work either . I am back to calling Adobe and while they are sympathetic and trying to help I am getting pretty frustrated since customer service has sent me to tech support again .
     Any way my question is anyone have a similar experience and if so what was your experience and how was it finally resolved

Sorry, allow me to clarify. You know when you log into your computer, you're in your user account with all of your settings? Well user accounts can become corrupted. If you uninstall LR, create a clean user account, and install LR while logged into that user account, it may leave behind whatever problems you're having - and if it works, it may be possible just to copy the correct files back to your normal account. Serial number not working with upgrade from production studio

I have an old WinXP with the first Adobe CS Production Studio Premium that I've been using for more than six years.
I recently had to reinstall my system and now I have an install error with serial number. The Prod Studio Prem is an upgrade
to the Video Collection Standard. It errors on the screen when it ask for the previous version of AfterEffect and Encore.
I had this issue before. Adobe support provided me another number and it worked.
The odd thing about it is the install asks for AE 3.0 or later and I have AE6.5. It also asks for Encore 1.0 or later and I have Encore 1.0 & 1.5. If I can remember back several year when I called ADOBE support they said even though I qualified for the upgrade the issue probably was with the previous AE standard serial number wasn't working in the install screen. I've lost the new serial numbers now and I'm unable to reinstall.
I'm not upgrading until next year. How can I get this working until then?

if you don't have the old version installed you'll be prompted for both the serial number of the old version and the upgrade. you have to use the correct serials when prompted.

I purchased the CS5 Extended Software on eBay and the serial number on my box is not working. I am at a loss because I shelled out almost $400 for it and I still have no software. It sounds as if you have been scammed by purchasing illegetimate software at a too-good-to-be-true price.
Photoshop Extended cannot be purchased legitimately for $400.
Seek compensation through PayPal / eBay ASAP.
