Does any one know how I can discovery the serial number of an installed copy of PSE 9 or 10 please?

If you registered your products with Adobe the numbers should be available on-line. If you are logged-in to this forum on the web click on the red Adobe logo (top left) and go to manage account. You should be able to explore your product purchase history.

How to deactivate my serial number for PSE 10 on a previous computer?
I looked on internet and saw that you can do that with Creative Cloud (CC). But to join CC you have to subscribeand do monthly payment and I don't want that.

Creative Cloud has nothing at all to do with PSE. Are you saying that you already installed PSE on two computers and you no longer have them and need to deactivate one so you can install PSE on another machine? If so, go to Activation support:

Can't find serial number on PSE 13

I bought PSE 13 from Costco for use on my iMac. I can't find the serial number. Booklet says number should start with 1057. I've looked on back of box, on cd, on booklet. No 1057 number. There is an eighteen digit number above the bar code but it starts with the numbers 744. I purchased from Costco online on 11-14-14. There is no serial number on the receipt either. Help. I looked at an old PSE box and there was a serial number sticker on the back of the box.

Nevermind. I just found the box within the box and located the serial number.

Cannot find serial number for PSE 10 for new computer

Hi,
My laptop had water spilled on it and I was able to save the hard drive. I have the setup file for re-installing my PSE 10 software onto my new laptop, but can't find my serial number. In my order history, PSE 9 is the latest one on the list, so I can't find my serial number for PSE10.
Where can I find it? Is it in a file somewhere in my hard drive because I can't find it there either. If anyone can help I would sure appreciate it!

Need Serial number for PSE 12

I bought Photoshop Element 12 from Costco some time ago. Did not install at that time. Now I want to install but don't know which is the serial number. There is a PN number, another 10 digit number, a 18 digit number and a Lot Code. A serial number is not identified. Can you help?

If a serial number was included it would be on the disc casing inside where it cannot be seen unless the package is opened. You might be dealing with a redemption code as well, so here's a couple links to cover both scenarios...

If it has not been installed properly, try rebooting your computer and reverify.

PSE 8 Serial Number Keeps Expiring

The serial number in PSE 8 keeps expiring. When I launch the program, it comes up with a software setup box which asks for the serial number. When I put in the serial number, it gives a red X and will not take it. I then have to uninstall the software and reinstall. With a fresh install, the serial number then works. The software will then work for a few weeks and then ask for serial number again. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the software at least ten times. Anyone else have this problem?

It doesn't have one. Your Apple ID that you used for the purchase can be used if you want to buy a regular upgrade, but the app store version needs no serial number for installation.

Where is PS Elements 10 download, serial number?

I bought Intuos 5 touch tablet, which was sold with elements 10 program. I downloaded the complementary program following instructions on the cd, but cannot activate the download without a serial number.
I have tried every code on the box but they seem to have nothing to do with the elements 10 download.

The serial number for PSE is a 24-digit number beginning with 1057. It's usually on the paper sleeve for bundled versions. If not, you would need to contact wacom, since the distributor is responsible for serial numbers for bundled versions.

Where/how do I input my serial number in PSE 9? The product is already installed and when I try to install updated I receive an error message.

If your getting that error when you use Help>Updates, then try downloading and installing the updates from here:
(the Help>Updates doesn't seem to work right except with current shipping versions of adobe software, for the most part and gives all kinds of weird messages at times)

Shouldn't I receive a serial number with the PSE trial version?

Problem with serial number and installing PSE 12

I purchased Adobe PSE 12 yesterday and the purchase went through. But I never received a confoirmation email from Adobe. Now, when I try to enter the serial number to install, I'm told there is a problem with the serial number and I must contact customer support. Can't get through to customer support though. PSE 7.0 Invalid Serial Number under Win 8.1

Moved from a Dell PC running Win XP SP3 to an HP with an 3.80 GHz AMD 6200 6 core processor, 10 Gb RAM running Win 8.1. Had installed PSE 7.0 four or five years ago on the Dell - it meets my limited needs and I don't really want to upgrade. I re-installed PSE 7.0 (from the Adobe download site) and registered the product on Adobe.com. However, the program refuses to accept the serial number, claiming it is "not valid." Tried Adobe chat and Manoj Kumar confirmed the serial number was valid. However, he then stated that PSE 7.0 is not supported on Win 8.1 and he is consequently unable to assist further. Since the program works fine other than for not accepting a valid serial number, I don't see that Win 8.1 is an issue. Any thoughts? Is it helpful to copy any applicable files from the old computer?

Having searched for similar issues with other PSE users, it is apparent Adobe does not intend to respond - none of the numerous questions on serial numbers have received a response. I found the answer to my question, but the solution will not help anyone who can't locate their original installation disks.
There is an apparent difference in the serial numbers that are issued on-line during product downloads and those that are printed on the box / disk sleeve. I managed to dig up the six year old install disk and initiated setup.The first pop up box requests a serial number and I entered my original number. The installation proceed without incident, other than requesting a file update which I obtained from Adobe downloads. The serial number which was rejected when downloading a copy of PSE 7.0 from Adobe works just fine in the identical disk based install.
And, a note in passing to "Manjo Kumar:" PSE 7.0 runs just fine under Win 8.1. Please stop using the excuse that Win 8.1 is not supported and give users the real answer: "If you download a copy, you need a downloaded serial number. If you originally installed from disk, you need to re-install from disk. A disk based serial number won't work on a download copy."
Short sighted attempt by Adobe to force users to purchase another copy of previously installed software.
