Serial number on new cs4 doesnt work!!!`

Hi! I just purchased and downloaded Design Standard today, and after in installed and accepted the SN, when I went to open the programs it told me the SN was now invalid. I have tried restarting, and deleting the cache.dl file, which works once and then when I try to activate it bounces me out again. What can I do? I have been on hold for almost an hour!!!

Bought a student edition, so the serial number was sent through after confirmation process. I just upgraded my laptop and want to install the product. I understand that you have also used the download link & serial number from Adobe - CS2 Downloads, if still the CS2 is not working, then please refer to the system requirement for e.g System requirements | Photoshop
The issue can be that the present operating system might not be compatible with the CS2.

Serial number for InDesign CS4 won't work.

I have Creative Suite 4. Everything was working until I took my computer to a shop to have it worked on. Now everything works except for Indesign. When I put in my serial number it says it's invalid. I deactivated Illustrator and tried reinstalling creative suite and still everything is working except for Indesign. What can I do?

That is patently not true.
You should be able to look it up yourself as I described above.
My serial numbers go back to a copy of Adobe Persuasion I bought in 1993!
Does your serial number has 24 digits?
If necessary, call Customer Service and ask for a supervisor to get satisfaction.

Switching Serial Number to new laptop

The logicboard on my old laptop died, so I bought a new MacBook. I have downloaded Aperture and tried to use to serial number that I purchased (purchased over the web) for my new laptop. When I put the serial number in it is not recognized. I assume this is because it is currently installed on another computer.
How do I switch the serial number to be valid on my new laptop instead of my old one?

I purchased my copy of Aperture on a CD, and installed in an old Powerbook. Then I got a new iMac and installed it with the same serial on my iMac. I never run both at the same time (no need), but the serial works fine on both computers. Since you have a legit serial number, you need to call/email Apple and have them unlock your serial number so you can install on your new computer. The old one will no longer be valid. Or they may have a different solution, but contact them about it.

Aperture won't accept serial number on new iMac

Got a new iMac and copied over everything from the old G5 and the ONLY application that won't work is Aperture! It asks for the install product serial number - I enter it and it says it's invalid! I've done everything the 'installing professional products' troubleshooting thingy says and it still won't execute. It's frustrating when you have the original serial number and you're the only owner and it's your new machine and you can't get Apple software to work and you have jobs waiting to be done.
Any helpful suggestions besides buying Adobe products instead of Apple's?

Call Apple support, 1-800-SOS-APPL.
On a long term basis for heavy graphics apps users IMO the healthiest approach by far with new boxes is to do clean new installations of applications rather than "migrating."
As to switching to Adobe apps to make transfers easier, I have been using Adobe apps for many years, many upgrades (currently the Premium Design Suite of apps), and over the years I have almost always ended up with call(s) to Adobe Customer Support to make app upgrades work. Copy protection is a pain, Apple or Adobe.

Lost serial number to install CS4 Design Premium Student Edition

I had CS 4 Design Premium Student Edition installed on my computer and a cs 5.5 software update installed. I reformatted my computer and updated to a newer OS. Later I tried to re-install my software and realized I lost my serial number. I cannot install the cs 5.5 update without having a previous version of CS installed. Does anyone know of a solution to this? I tried calling Adobe and they instructed me to use the chat. I'm still waiting for a response on chat, but I thought I'd post this while I'm waiting to see if anyone has any suggestions or ideas. I'd prefer not to update to Creative Cloud yet.
