(From Italy) Hi, I tried to make repaired my old Mac 512ke (power supply problem), but wen returned (no results) I realized the serial number plate was missing.
Not trusting the repairer who said that also previously lacked, I want to report here the serial, for all the use the community may decide. It is : F435021. Regards, Paolo

I don't understand your problem.
After Effects CS6 runs on 64 bit systems. You use the same serial number you use on a 32 bit system.
If you want to upgrade to the CC subscription version, you can do so on the Adobe website.
What do you mean that no customer service answered you? Did you speak to Adobe Support? What did they say?

What do I do if my Logic Studio Serial number was stolen, box and all?

So, my box for Logic Studio that I've had since 2010 was stolen, as well as my old computer...and external hardrive where the serial number was backed up. Can apple verify it is me via email, social security, anything, or am I just kind of screwed, and can't use the software I paid for?
Just wondering for a solution, because it has everyhting to do with my lively hood and feeding myself.
I know that these requests are probably a bane of Apple's, but I am willing to verify my information by whatever means necessary, as I would like to just use the software I have paid for. Is there really no protocol for "everything I owned pertaining to technology got stolen"? Life happens, and so did mine, it was out of my control and I find it fairly unjust that I cannot use anything I used to be able to, now that I finally have a computer again after 2 years.

My IPAD was stolen, when i try to the register my IPAD serial numebr on apple site, i see this message:"" According to our records, this serial number is registered to another Apple ID""!!!
Could you help me how do i know who has register the serial number?
How can i know, this serial has been registered with any Apple ID?

There is no way to look this information up yourself. You can try calling Apple Support, but they may well refuse for privacy reasons to give you such information unless the other Apple ID is also yours. Registering the serial number after your iPad has been stolen is rather useless, though. It's the police to whom you need to give the information; Apple does not track stolen property.

Way to get serial number of stolen iPod?

Not sure where to ask this but, my 60GB Video iPod was stolen out of my car a few months ago. The Deputy that responded just called me after busting a group of kids and recovering tons of iPods and other stuff but I need to find the serial number of the iPod.
Is there a way I can lookup which iPod's I've registered and used with iTunes? Or can Apple tell me?

1) If it's been less than a year you can call or go to the Apple Store where you bought your iPod and they can pull the serial number of the unit(s) purchase using the credit card number at the register.
OR
2)Talking to a helpful person at the online Apple Store I was able to even obtain the serial number for the 3rd Gen iPod I bought in 2003 linked to my phone number since I had called tech support once when I first bought it.
Important: If you get an unhelpful person just hang up and call back. The right Apple rep will look through the different systems and help you. Your serial number can be linked to some other info and they can get it for you.

Obtaining serial number of stolen iPhone

My iphone 5 was stolen while on holiday.
Unfortunately the find my iphone was not activated and I am trying to get the serial number.
The only place I can find the device registered is in icloud.com under icloud-settings-my devices, BUT only the last 5 characters are displayed.
How can I get the full serial number from here?
I have also tried getting the serial number via iTunes but here only the device name is identified.
I am going in circles with Apple support, as each time it asks me for the serial number of the device, which I obviously don't have!
Any suggestions will be appreciated.

I'm sorry to hear about your iPhone being stolen. If you no longer have access to an iPhone and need to get the serial number, and you have access to iTunes on a machine where the iPhone has been backed up, you may find the following helpful:
If you can use iTunes on your computer but don't have your device:
Go to iTunes > Preferences (Mac) or Edit > Preferences (PC).
Click the Devices tab.
Hold your mouse over a backup to display the serial number for that device. You'll also see the IMEI/MEID and CDN for your iPhone or iPad (cellular model).

My Serial Number is registered on my old "crashed" computer.

I am trying to use my Adobe Photoshop Elements 10 and Adobe Premier Elements 10 on my new computer. I just bought this software and then my computer crashed, so I got a new computer. I have downloaded the Adobe software on my new computer and it keeps asking for the serial number, but when I enter it, I am told it is already registered on another computer. That old computer is no longer available so I am unable to uninstall the software program from it so I can go forward with my new computer.
Help
What should I do so I can use this software? It was very expensive and if I can't use it, I may as well just return it to Office Depot where I bought it.

Please can anyone help - Ive had photoshop elements for 6 months, and last week my laptop went in for repair and has been toally wiped of any information. ive tried to re-install elements but it keeps saying my serial number is invalid... any ideas?

Serial number not valid after computer move

I'd been using Photoshop CS4 Extended for some years on a PC. I recently bought a new PC and installed on it from the same disk. I entered the same serial number. It worked the first time, but subsequently it asked for the serial number each time, and each time said the number was invalid.
Do I need to purchase the product again in order to install it on another PC?

You'll need to call Adobe Customer Support to resolve licensing issues. We fellow users, on this user-user forum, can't access their database.
Describe what you've done, and that you didn't (or weren't able to) deactivate the software from your old system, and let them know how many computers you currently have it activated on. If they're being nice they'll reset your available activation count to allow you to continue to use your license on your new system.
They're known to try to blow people off and tell them to come to the forum. If they do that, inform them that users can't help other users with activation problems.
If all else fails, the Photoshop CC Photographer's Bundle is $9.99 a month...

As the the useless live chat sent me here I will ask, but I can not see how 'peer help' can assist where live chat can not. And yes, I am very annoyed with live chat.

Well, I contacted support again, and was told I would have a telephone call from them as it needed 'real time' problem solving. Great I thought, someone will help at last.
So at the appointed time I was at the computer, phone to one side, coffee at the other, waiting for the call.
I waited
and waited
and waited
3 hours later I send a message to Adobe saying what I thought. Eventually after almost 5 hours after the promised call, someone phoned. Details confirmed, problem explained.
RESULT! Well, no. 'we do not support PSE3' So why the £$*& did you agree to telephone? I stated the problem in the initial contact, including the version I was using. An email saying 'sorry we do not support PSE3' would have sufficed, but no, they gave the impression that they would give support, for which I was grateful (at the time, not now)
So what do I think of Adobe product support?
What support? They do not understand the meaning of the work, or customer service in general.

if you purchased a mac serial number, and not windows, your serial number will be valid with the matching mac installation file regardless of which mac os you use. some mac os may not be compatible but that's not a serial number issue.
if that doesn't explain the issue because you did purchase cs5 design prem for mac, what error message are you seeing after entering your serial number?

Cannot recover serial number for stolen MacBook

My wife just had her MacBook stolen. She registered her MacBook when she bought it, but we cannot find the serial number under her accounts. We have checked both under her Apple ID and iCloud ID and the computer is not showing up. This is an older model, 2010, so am not having much luck with finding the receipts or box.
Any ideas on how we might find the serial number?

Unfortunately I did not register the laptop, nor did I save the box it came in. I found my receipt - it shows the model number only, no serial number. So my only recourse is to the store where I bought it (Best Buy). I have sent them all the info from my receipt ... we'll see if they can find it for me.

Changing New 3G Iphone serial number in Itunes after upgrade

I just bought a new 3G I Phone. How do you edit the serial number in ITunes? It still has the old serial number from my previous generation IPhone.

When you plug in the iPhone for the first time iTunes should have told you this is a new iPhone and that a previous iPhone was synced and would you like to restore. You should of clicked yes. But even if you didn't iTunes should recognize it as another phone and not copy the serial number. While the iPhone is plugged into iTunes go to "Settings > General > About" and scroll down to the serial number. Then tell me if the one on the iPhone 3G and the one in iTunes match.
