Serial Number / Product Key

I need to reset my laptop and don't have serial number written down to reinstall PSE 10. Is there a way to locate it while currently installed on laptop?

However, I should be able to help. Go to your Adobe account and look under products and see if Elements is registered. If it is, your serial number will be there. If not, register it first. Here is a direct link to products: Adobe ID

Can you buy serial codes/product keys for CS3?

Im looking to buy CS3 (please don't ask why not CS4 or 5), off of a friend who has a genuine copy which has never been installed. He has lost manuals and the product keys. He says i can buy a product key for it?
Is this right, or a load of rubbish? I really need CS3 but not sure what i can do without the serial code in the box?

If I buy a dvd copy of elements can I use that serial number or Key to install it on my imac that does NOT have a DVD drive?

Buying the DVD is less expensive but I don't have a DVD drive. So I want to know if I can use the serial number or product key from the box to license a trial download?

It should work. You can always contact Adobe Support if it doesn't.

I have just received my new Encore & have been trying to register it but every number I can find on the Encore gets refused.Where are these numbers please.?
Also,is there a user manual,a sensible one,somewhere I can download ?
At the moment I am getting really disapponted with Toshiba,trying to find support sites is a puzzle in itself & even this forum is like no other that I belong to,so confusing.
I have plugged the charger in but there is no indication of it charging or anything.How long should I leave it charging (hopefully) ?

The manual is easy. There is probably an application called "toshiba users guide download..". If not, get this. It downloads the right pdf for you.

The lack of charge indicator is a problem. Although it is disconcerting, you have to have faith. If it is plugged in, it is charging. You can always start it up and have a look at the battery icon in the desktop view or type "windows mobility center" into the search box.
How long to leave charging ? Up to you. Mine has been on and off various chargers and USB ports and I let it bounce around between 45 and 80 %. I had one work trip a few weeks ago and let it go to 100 % before travelling. When you have it on the 2 watt charger, it fills up pretty fast. On a piddly 1/2 Amp charger, it barely charges, but that is what I mostly use.
In general, I have been blown away by the device. It really is like a useful windows machine, except it fits in a pocket.

Purchased Elements 12 and Premiere Elements online/want to reload, but can't find serial number readily

During last year, I purchased Elements and Premeire Elements 12 online from Adobe. Want to reload both, but can't readily find serial number. How do I check the date products were purchased and where the serial number is?

Depends where and how you purchased them. I don't believe you can get the serial number / product key out of the software at all. If you bought from Adobe online you can log into your account and should be able to get them from there.

I bought my G61-110SA notebook pre-loaded with Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit edition. After a year, I ran into the infamous issue that my Windows 7 was no longer genuine. I didn't want to do a recovery as I have several applications I would need to re-install and would need to search for the software and licensing keys (mostly downloaded, never saved to a disk for future use). In the end, after many attempts to try re-activate - worked with microsoft and re-installed windows 7 - moving the old windows to windows.old - most of which I moved to a backup drive - mainly for documents (share computer with wife and son),
The machine is working very well now - however when I run HP Support Assistant my computer serial number, product number and product name no longer show. Is there someway to retrieve this data - obviously have these values on the tag of my machine and when I registered with HP a few years ago.
Any suggestions would be very much appreciated

I´ve been following the same installation procedure as for the first time. There is just one DVD in the set with all the installation files. The only change is the "Invalid Serial Number" message in the very end. Then, a windows appears which announces that "the trial period" continues -- as if I had downloaded the program from some website.

Report based on Serial Number generated in the Production Order

I wish to generate a Customized report, which shall include the total consumption based on Sales Order/Line Item/Serial Number/Production Order matching the Serial Number generated in the Production Order where in we can get the required data.
Need your help and suggestions in creating this report..

Hello Tman,
This is a slightly tricky question. The reason being, the report options like the report path etc, are set before you see the serial number prompt when you run your UUT. There might be other ways of getting around this, but a quick solution would be modifying the process model.
I modified the PreUUT callback to set the report options. I passed the reportOptions as a parameter to this sequence. In the PreUUT sequence, I set the following fields:
Parameters.ReportOptions.GeneratePath=False
Parameters.ReportOptions.ReportFilePath= "c:\\"+ Locals.SerialNumber +"\\report.xml"
I hope this would give you an idea.

Finding product key number

I have an IQ524 All-in-one computer, I received the computer with Vista and a couple of months later I got a packet of disks from HP for windows 7, to which I promptly installed . I want to install windows 10. I just found that I can go to Cnet, which sends me to the download site. At first I couldn't find my product key, the key I have on my computer is only 20 letters and numbers long. I just found the 25 number product key on the backside of my computer, but that, I am guessing is for the Vista OS. The packet of disks, to the windows 7 OS, have no numbers on it what so ever, so I have no idea what the product key number and I don't think I ever had that number. Where can I find or is it possible to get another product key number for windows 7 so I can install Windows 10 onto my computer? Now that I think about it, do I need a product key number (for windows 7) if I have the number for Vista?Thanks in advance...Fred

That's what I thought, kind of...It's just that, I know that it probably will be a while before they send Windows 10 to me and I wanted to jump at the chance to pick it asap. But, if that's not the case, I can wait, I will have to wait. Thanks for the info!--Fred--

Reading Mifare Serial Number

I am trying to read the Mifare serial number off a smart card. This is the first time that I have worked with a smart card and I am not really sure how all of the pieces fit together. I am using this as an example.

I am able to read the UID from the card but it fails when I try to load the key. I expect this is because the key in the sample I am working off is not correct for my card. I assume my best bet for getting the key to read the serial number is to track down whoever in the organization I am doing this for writes the serial number to the card. Does that sound right? Also once I get a valid key will the rest of the example work or are there other pitfalls I have yet to encounter?

No I am not using the same reader I am using a SDI010 from SCM. Are these the right steps to read the serial number (load key, authenticate, read?)
I found some documentation on it that give the commands for this reader at:

Help Please!! I recently purchased a new computer and I'm in the process of transferring programs and files. I can't find my Photoshop PS5 serial number or Key code anywhere. I don't want to upgrade to the cloud.. Can anyone tell me where I can find my serial number within PS5 like maybe help or something

No, you cannot get the complete serial number from an installed program. that would completely defeat the purpose of the activation system. Contact support by web chat or phone, maybe they can help you.

Cannot run InDesign CS2.. ask for serial number..

i am having problem after installing InDesign CS2. After the installation, when i click on the icon, instead of running the program, it keep pop up a dialog box with name, organization and serial number. i key in the same serial number that i use for the installation, but it wont work.. i have been searching tru the forum, but i still cant find the solution to solve the problem.. can anyone help??

Since the activation server was closed down, you are supposed to uninstall, hide your discs away, and then download and install the non activation version(s) that correspond(s) to your current one (single application or suite possibly supplemented by single applications), and use the generic replacement serial number(s) provided on the download page that you get to when you click 2. Download and install CS2 applications on the web page that Monika linked to, choosing your original/preferred language.
Your original serial number is key to your legitimate use of the downloaded non activation version(s).
The only suite available for download is CS2 Standard, so if you have have CS2 Premium, you will have to download Golive CS2/8 and Acrobat 7 separately as additional individual applications.

I want to know the how to get history for item serial number ( link between the planned order, confirmation and serial number). You goto IQ09, enter material number & serial number and execute you'll goto a page called Equipment Serial Number Detail, from there is a button called history, When you click it you will goto serial number history. What i need is how to get these serial number history record for a particular material , serial number. (i need the table names and the links), it would be great if someone can help me with this.

Hi,
You can have a link between serial number, production order, planned order and material by linking SER05 and AFPO table. From SER05, take production order number (PPAUFNR) value and goes to AFPO. You can get planned order number (PLNUM) and material number (MATNR) for that order.
Please note that the planned order data will be no longer available in planned order table (PLAF) as it is already converted to production order.

Can I download Adobe Creative Suite 5.5 Design Premium on a new Mac if I've had it installed on my old one since December 2011? I have the product key and serial number.

I bought a new Macbook Pro 13 inch in December 2011 and I bought the Adobe Creative Suite 5.5 Design Premium shortly after and installed it on the computer. The other day my friend spilled his drink on my computer and it is now going to cost me $800 to get it fixed so I am considering getting a new one instead of getting mine fixed I'm not sure if the memory is still ok or not either. It didn't get that wet and Apple told me it is more than likely ok but there is no guarantee that they are going to keep the memory when they fix it. So I was wondering if I get a new one if I can install the Suite on the new one I still have the product key and serial number for the Suite. Or if I decide to get mine fixed and the memory is swept, then can I reinstall it on mine after it is fixed? If anyone can help me it would be greatly appreciated!!! Thank You
