Serial number received from Uni not working
So i attended Korea University last semester and received serial numbers for cs5 design premium. It worked on my toshiba but now my new computer (macbook pro) keeps sying its an invalid code. i tried both the mac version and the pc one but nothing is working. I can't use my old computer anymore, so i desperately need to have this fixed in like a week because i'm heading back to school. on top of it i dont ahve a phone atm so i can't contact support.
I dont want to have the buy the program when every design student their recieves it for free.
any help would be greatly appreciated.

Serial number for student license not working.
My serial code doesn't work. I sent an application on the 16th October 2013 and i still have the same problem. I don't know what is the problem but the issue is still there and i have the same message saying ''We cannot confirm the serial number for Adobe Illustrator CC.'' during my activation. I don't know what to do as it have been 4 days since i bought the program from my university.
KarimS first I would recommend checking your account at http://www.adobe.com/ you have opened three separate cases with our support team and all three are pending your response.
It also looks as if you are in North America and did not purchase your education software from Adobe directly. Please see http://forums.adobe.com/message/4634728#4634728 for information on how to submit your proof of eligibility. Once you have submitted your proof of eligibility, and it is approved, you will then be given access to your subscription.
I would also recommend that your education e-mail address when submitting your proof of eligibility. This will help expedite the process of you being made eligible. -

Has anyone else had issues with the serial number listed under MyAdobe not working?
Trying to re-install CS4 to work on something, and when I downloaded the installer and unpacked it, it rejected the serial number listed on my MyAdobe page for the CS4 Master collection. Is there another number somewhere I should be entering or something?
IF you are sure you are downloading the correct suite, you need to contact Adobe Support either by chat or via phone when you have serial number and activation issues.

HELP?!If you have purchased a perpetual license, first make sure you are entering the serial number, not the redemption code. Also if you've installed the trial via Creative Cloud, you should replace it with the standalone version. See this page for details:

I am trying to download Photoshop CS6 onto my Mac from the Adobe website, but I do not have a serial number. I made an Adobe ID, but the serial number is not under "My Products" nor have I received an email including a serial number. I do not know how else to find the serial number. Please help!

I am trying to "personalize" my cs2 software online download with the serial number from my original boxed cd set and it didn't work. I tried using the download serial number and that doesn't work either. Need help!
I understand that you have also used the download link & serial number from Adobe - CS2 Downloads, if still the CS2 is not working, then please refer to the system requirement for e.g System requirements | Photoshop
The issue can be that the present operating system might not be compatible with the CS2.

I have LR4 already installed and a new disc with LR5 on it (never activated - have serial number). I do not have a drive on my computer to install from the disc. How do I go about upgrading to LR5?
Download the installation file(s) and use the serial number you have to activate it.

Just received a thank you email and explaining the first steps to be taken, yet not have the serial number and can not ultilizar Adobe Muse! As confirmed by you Muse is asking for serial number on launch. Most of the time this happens because of Hosts file on the machine.
Please go ahead and rename the hosts file on your machine and you should be all set. here are the steps for both MAC and Windows.
Windows:
1. Go to following location. C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc
2. Rename the file "Hosts" to "hostsold"
3 Relaunch Muse and sign in with your Adobe ID, you should be all set.
MAC:
1. Go to Finder > Go > Go to Folder
2. Type /etc and hit Return
3. Rename the file "Hosts" to "hostsold"
4. Relaunch Muse and sign in with your Adobe ID, you should be all set.

Adobe acrobat pro 9 keeps telling me "the serial number I entered is not valid"
I recently had my macbook pro logic board fail and had to purchase a new macbook pro (expensive reinvestment after only 3 years but that's another story).
Anyway, all of my cs4 upsell products loaded just fine, except adobe acrobat pro 9 keeps telling me "the serial number I entered is not valid." After contacting adobe thru chat several times, here is the info I got back: my serial number IS valid, I still can activate 3 more times (deactivation was not an issue in this case), the final answer was the cs1 server (my previous version before cs4) is no longer available which basically renders my version of acrobat unusable. Is that really the case? Now that I have a new computer I can't use that software any longer it was working fine on my old laptop? Why did all the other software load okay? Did I miss something or is buying another upgrade neccessary?
ps: using Macbook Pro with MacOS X.8.5Indesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Dreamweaver are all working just fine. I haven't needed any other apps yet since the reinstall. Install actually worked fine too for Adobe Acrobat Pro 9.0 but when I try to open anything in it I get the Software Setup Screen and it wants me to enter the serial number for the product, when I do it says the serial number is invalid. I included a screen shot below with the serial number removed so you can see. In chatting with adobe, my rep said it is a valid number (obviously since it worked fine on my other apps), but the server for CS1 is no longer available and since I have an upsell from CS1 they cannot offer me support and to take my question to the forum board, so here I am.

Did you purchase from Adobe directly or from your academic institution? If you purchased from Adobe then the software should be available under your account. Please see http://forums.adobe.com/thread/1006208?tstart=0&promoid=KBHJQ for information on how to download your purchased Adobe software.
If you did not purchase the software from Adobe directly then you can download the trial from https://www.adobe.com/cfusion/tdrc/index.cfm?product=photoshop_lightroom&promoid&promoid=D TEML. You can install the trial and then enter the serial number which you have already received.
