Serial Number? Running as trial

It seems like a pretty common thing. Phone Support has already hung up me and I don't have time to hang out and wait again so I'm going to post for the time being.
Bought the CC today. I previous had an old copy of CS6 on here running as a trial. I got a new computer, migrated, and the Adobe Suite didn't get registered. After 3 weeks, today, I decided to go ahead and upgrade to the Creative Cloud.
After purchasing, download the App, signed in, and all the apps listed as "Download Trial". Thought that was weird and installed, sure enough, they all opened as trials. When I clicked to sign in it just asks for a serial number.
I hit the forums and found a suggestion and link for "AdobeCreativeCloudCleanerTool.dmg" which cleans out current and past Adobe Apps and license info. Ran that, uninstalled everything, started over.
This time when I install the Creative Suite App all the apps said "Download" instead of "Download Trial". Glimmer of Hope.
NOPE! They installed as trials again.
As a suggestion from another help post, I logged out, quite, restarted. It asked me to sign in and eventuall enter a serial number again.

To check your hosts file please open the Terminal and type cat /etc/hosts and then press the Enter key. This will just output the contents of your hosts file to the Terminal. Reply with the contents here or send me a private message.

You do not have a serial number for the trial, but you will need a serial number to activate the product when the trial ends after 30 days.

you don't get a serial number with a trial. if you purcahse adobe software, you get a serial number.

Last fall I downloaded a trial version of Photoshop CS5.1 for use in a class. I just purchased Photoshop CS5 Extended for educators and opted to receive a disc at home rather than downloading the program as I haven't always had good luck with downloads. But, when I tried to close the trial version on my MacBook Pro, a window pops up saying, "Your trial has expired. It's easy to convert your trial to the full version now by purchasing a serial number and entering it inot your trial software. Buy Now."

Yes, you can simply type in the serial. If it doesn't work, you can always run the install from the disc.

I am trying to reinstall PSE 9 after a computer reformat and I keep getting a message that it is the incorrect serial number for the trial. I bought the program in February of 2011, and I think I've only had it on one computer and that's this one. Windows

I had to have my computer reformatted in July, and am just now trying to install PSE9. When I tried to enter the serial number I got a dialog box that stated that this serial number was not valid for the trial. I bought this. According to my profile, I bought in in February 2011. You cannot purchase an upgrade version to upgrade the trial version. The first time you purchase Lightroom you have to pay the full price, whatever that might be from the vendor you choose. The trial version is the full version of Lightroom. So you will have to get a refund and then purchase Lightroom, paying the full price.

click download. you don't have to install (or even save the download). just use the serial number to activate the trial you've already installed.
delete the unneeded download.

There are no serial numbers for trials. if it asks for one, you screwed things up and there's no way to recover your trial.
