Serial Number says activated elsewhere but it's been deactivated

I purchased the Adobe eLearning Suite a while ago. Last month I had a problem with my laptop so, our IT department changed out my shell for a new shell. In doing that I started getting an error message when trying to use Photoshop (didn't try other products). Error said, serial number was already activated on 2 computers. IT deleted the activation on my old hard drive but, I'm still getting that error.

Deactivation is performed by opening one of the programs and selecting Help -> Deactivate. If they did not deactivate the software before uninstalling/deleting it, they did not deactivate the software.
You will need to contact Adobe support by chat in order to have them deactivate the software for the inaccessible installation.

Yes. They'll still replace your iPod. Several users have indicated that they have returned damaged iPods and were still given a replacement iPod.

I am trying to install CS2 on my new computer but it is not accepting my serial number or activation number?

You only need to use the serial number during installation.
Have you, at least seemingly, been able to install, and then you are unable to start up?
If that is the case, you could try to reinstall using the full three step way:
Uninstall, run the Cleaner Tool, and reinstall.

There are two steps when entering a serial number:
When you enter it in the 24-digit field, you should see a green checkmark. If you see a red x, you may have mis-typed the number, as Ben pointed out, it could be for a suite instead of a standalone product.
If it takes the number and installs, then activation is the next step. If it fails to activate, you may have exceeded your activations or the number might have been retired.
In that case, contact Customer Care with proof of purchase.

I just bought an Iphone 5 32GB from MBK in Bangkok Thailand. Known for selling fakes. This phone was sealed and feels and looks and functions as good as my other iphone 5 I have had for 2 years..It was cheaper than one with Thailand warranty because it comes with no warranty. These are supposed to be imported directly from USA, Korea , Singapore or Hong Kong and are probably old stock now. The issue I can't solve is that it is a 32GB white but the serial number checks out as a 32GB BLACK! In all the websites I have checked, the serial number says the same thing. The box says it is white and model MD636LL/A . The websites also say that this model should be an AT&T orderded Iphone 5 32GB BLACK . The white one is supposed to have the code MD637LL/A. So something is not right of course. Apple would not make those mistakes. But the phone, to the best of everything I have checked, is the real thing. Any ideas out there on what's going on? its been driving me nuts.

It's also quite possible that it was hacked to unlock it from AT&T and will lock back to them when you next restore or update the operating system. That the box was sealed means nothing, since it's easy to reseal a box. You bought a used iPhone that was repaired or otherwise altered and which may have any number of issues and problems.
This is the sort of risk you take when you buy from unauthorized sources.

Photoshop cs3 extended asking for serial number and activation after having the program for over 5 years now

for some reason the program out of the blue is asking for a serial number and activation. I can't find the case anymore. does anyone have a way I can contact adobe directly to see if they can help me solve this problem.
Everywhere I look points me back to the forum or troubleshooting menus.

It may think you have a different computer if you've changed some of the hardware recently.
Did you purchase the software as a download or register it with Adobe? If so, your serial number may be available from them directly. Click first the red A logo at the top of this page, then drill down through [Manage Account] to see the products they have on file for you.
If you've physically lost your serial number and never registered it with Adobe, it's like losing a wad of cash on the street. You're responsible for holding onto your valuables and no one's going to step up and replace it for you.
The Creative Cloud Photographer's Bundle subscription package is still available for $9.99 a month, as far as I know.

Have you had the main board replaced? This happened to me a few years back and it was due to the fact that Apple replaced the main board and did not input the serial number. You must have that number in order to log in.
