Serial number validation

When I put my serial number in at the screen prompt I get the message "we are unable to validate this serial number for adobe photoshop cs6" I installed this on my other laptop about two years ago and now i want to install it on my second laptop. what do I do?

    Issue:
    Current Serial Number Profile Management does not do a valid serial number check during DELIVERY CREATION where we do a SERIAL NUMBER ASSIGNMENT.
    Only during POST GOODS ISSUE, the check happens for valid serial numbers; this is too late in the game for business as there is a time lag of 3 days from the DELIVERY CREATION and PGI.
    Reason being--- We donu2019t check the following u201C Existing Stock Checku201D( which does a serial number validation during delivery creation as well)
    SPRO>Plant Maintenance and Customer Service>Master Data in Plant Maintenance and Customer Service>Technical Objects>Serial Number Management>Define Serial Number Profiles
    If we check this option, the business requirement to do a valid serial number check does happen during delivery creation, however we cannot create new serial numbers during Purchase Order- GOODS RECEIPT.
    QUESTION:
    Can we have the system check the valid serial numbers from stock during delivery creation and serial number assignment.
    And Also create new serial numbers during Purchase Order- Goods Receipt.

    1.In std SAP its not possible to check the serail number during Delivery creation, through enhancement it can be done.
    2.During GR for PO serial numbers can be created.

    I recently downloaded Adobe Premiere Elements 12. And whenever i open the editor, it shows:
    Serial Number Validation
    Please connect to the internet to validate your serial number.
    I am already connected to wifi. I've been clicking the validate button several times, but still the "serial nunber validation" thing still shows. I have win8 32-bit. Can you please help me? Thanks :-)

    Did you purchase Premiere Elements 12 from Adobe direct?
    I am assuming your download of Premiere Elements was a purchased download rather than the tryout download.
    Adobe is the only one to sort out serial number and activation issue.

    How do one validate Photoshop 13. (Windows 8) Upon activation, get through to sign in screen, but when doing serial number validation, validate goes round but does not validate.  Connect Later is only way out of screen.  Checked account but product not listed.  Installed with serial number that was sent  by Adobe.  Have attempted numerous times at different times of the day.  On-line connection working.

    Have you bothered to do any research at all? Not every app was upgrade to 5.5. Those that weren’t will next be upgraded to CS6.

  • Purchased and downloaded/installed Captivate 7 but get 'serial number valid but' error

    Purchased and downloaded/installed Captivate 7 but get 'serial number valid but a qualifying product could not be found on this computer' error.  I have checked serial number, checked that I purchased correct version (7) direct and not an upgrade but the drop down list tha tthe window shows is only previous 6 versions and it is 7 I purchased/installed and is opening.

    Captivate thinks you bought an upgrade.  Adobe Support will have to help you. 
    I went through this (with an upgrade) but my qualifying product was also an upgrade, and Adobe didn't list my original product (CP2).  So there was no way to put in all the info. 
    And, just FYI, keep that serial number handy.  Even after Adobe Support fixed my Captivate so that it will run, every once in awhile...for no apparent reason...Captivate will start in "trial" mode and I have to re-enter the serial number.  It always works after I do that.  But, it's a pain so I now keep the serial number posted on my bulletin board for handy reference.

  • I already registered my premiere elements online but it still asks for serial number validation and I cannot get into the program.

    I sign in with my adobe username/login info and then it asks for my serial number validation which I have gone online to enter.  It says the product is validated online but when I try to get into the program it still asks to connect to the internet to validate your serial number...

    If you had made a search in this forum you would have found the answer many times. You have to thoroughly delete iWork. It isn't enough to delete the parts you see in the application folder.
    use Yvan Koenig's script:
              •          Go to http://www.box.com/s/00qnssoyeq2xvc22ra4k
              •          Choose public_YK > for_iWork'09 > other_iWork'09 items
              •          Click on uninstall iWork '09.zip, decompress it, open it in AppleScript Editor and click the Run button
    restart the computer for good measures and install from the disk again. Don't forget to do the updates too

    No. You need to buy a separate license or do a cross-platform change via Adobe.

    (1) I just downloaded Adobe Acrobat XI
    (2) After clicking the icon I receive a message that theSerial Number is Valid but product could not be found on computer.
    (3) There is a dropdown list of Adobe products to look for but Adobe Acrobat XI is not included.
    (4) Now what?

    You've entered an upgrade serial number.
    The XI installer is saying that it accepts your upgrade serial number but cannot find an earlier qualifying product on your computer. You must have upgraded at some point in the past.
    So it's asking you to select an earlier qualifying version from the dropdown list (Acrobat 9 or X) and enter the serial number from that version to prove you are eligible to use the Acrobat XI upgrade serial number.

    I bought Acrobat XI Pro ($199) and download the trial application.  when I enter serial number, return message "Serial number is valid but a qualify product could not be found on this computer.  I have another computer tower right next to this one that has Acrobat X (but I cannot retrieve existing serial number.  On my Adobe Account it only indicates that I have Adobe ExportPDF annual.  How do I get XI Pro to work or get a refund of my money?

    If you registered AA X, then you should be able to get the SN from Adobe Support.

  • G5 XServe serial number validation failing

    Hi,
    Reinstalling a G5 XServe with 10.5, and when I enter the serial number I just get a spinning wheel and no further response. This happens in the gui interface, via Server Assistant, and over command line (serversetup -setServerSerialNumber). I know the serial number is valid, and not in use. Is anyone else encountering the same issue? If I kill the process, then serversetup -getServerSerialNumber returns 1.

    do you have both ethernet interfaces connected? there was an issue with the 10.5.8 update (i think) that would cause serial number issues if both interfaces were on the same LAN. the 10.5.8 v1.1 update was supposed to resolve this.
    also, what do the logs say when you try to plug in the serial, and it fails?

    there is no validation except a warning message about the status(ECUS).

    We have activated Equipment view to the serial numbers and maintained pqartner functions and kept current customer partener function as Ship to party,So when ever we take returns,the customer code will get copied  in current customer field during serial number selection,so that the same serial numbers will be proposed by system.

    Hi All,
             When a service confirmation order is created , the serial number entered is validated against the serial number maintained in R3 against the material .
             In my case , even though i have done the required customization and serial number is maintained in R/3 , i get the error message 'invalid serial number' even though i enter the correct serial number . Upon debugging i found that the BAPI  'CRS_SERIALNR_CHECK' carries the required validation and it is called correctly from CRM side. I have also set the serial number profile to 04 (Check against SAP ECC).
