Serial Number Verification and Network Connection

I have a subscription license for Captivate 5.5. I launched it yesterday and got a message stating I was not connected to the Internet for S/N verification. Well, I was. In fact, I had adobe.com open. I clicked the Try Again button with no luck. I uninstalled and reinstalled the program and had the same issue.
Thing is, I last used it on Sunday with no problems. I don't think it's my ISP because I tethered my laptop to my cell phone and used its WiFi connection and still got the same result.
Any suggestions? I'm going to call Adobe tonight when I get home from work. The timing on this is bad because I'm in the middle of a large freelance project that I need to wrap up in 10 days.

The server handling the serial number authentication may just have been down temporarily. Check again later and if this issue persists beyond a reasonable time, definitely call Adobe Support about it.

Hello,
I'm looking at the same problem here. I found the table SER03 in which you can enter the the material document. This returns 1 line in this table and from this one you need the OBKNR element
You can copy this data and paste it into table OBJK element OBKNR and this returns all serialnumbers for the relevant material document.
My problem is that i can't get these items on the sapscript. (WESCHEINVERS 1,2 or 3)

I want Serial number field and table,
Scenario like this,for returnable packging material we have assigned serial numbers,mtrl type is LEIH,so for tracking of RTP material now we are going to Develop one Report for this i need ur Help.
Logic is:1)Matrl doc at the time of Delievery.
            Qty,Posting Date,Customer,Mvt type,Serial numbers for all.
             Beacause at the time of Del we are mentioned all serial numbrs.
            2)Material Document at the time of GI.
            Same field as mentioned as above.
After that,3)System is to Calculate How many Matrl are deliever to Custmer upto current Period.Say 10.
4)Calculte How many Matrl are Recieved from the Custmer upto current period.say 5
5)Del - Issue=Total Number of Material is in Customer side.Say 5
6)According to the Serial Number wise system has to calculate in which month delieverred matrl is in still customer side.
(Ex PGI date 20.02.2007 3 qty
Serial Number    1,2,3
Issue date    20.03.2007   2 qty
Serial Number    2,3
Serial number 1 still is in Customer side.
Age is 2 month)
I am giving simple ex.

Hi Raghu,
Check table SER01(Document Header for Serial Numbers for Delivery).
OBJK is the object table and you will have SERNR as serial number in this table.
check table EQUI
                      EQUI -SERGE
                      EQUI-GERNR.
EQUI-SERGE is Manufacturer serial number.chk if this is the one u r looking for.
MARC-SERNP.
key in plant and material in this table to fetch the Serial number profile of the material.
Check in IKPF AND ISEG Tables... ( inventory )
MSEG~EQUNR

My network connected for a few hours then went back to timing out. I have not changed anything. However there four additional laptop users in my family who do not seem to be having any problems using their wireless connection. Could their film and music downloads be causing the timing out of my connection and if so is there a way I could prioritizes my computer or limit their use?

Aperture forgets it license and asks me for the serial number over and over again

Hi,
This is getting ridiculous to the point where I'm thinking of just ditching Aperture. It's continually forgetting is license and asking me for the serial number over and over again. I have the original serial number and an upgrade number when I upgraded to v3, but right now, it's not accepting either of them. What's going on and how do I fix it permanently?

Rob, have you upgraded to Aperture 3.4.3? This is supposed to have fixed the serial number problem:

Be sure to enter the serial number, when you are logged in from an account with Administrator priveleges - otherwise can it not be stored.
Aperture is installed for all users on your mac, so the serial number is written to the system library, not the user library, and this requires read/write access for administrators. Do you enter your serial number using an administrator account?
When did this start? Have you migrated your system from from another mac? Then you still may have an older ProAppSystemID file or Aperture cannot write to the System Library.
To stop Aperture asking for the serial number, first check, if you still have an old file "ProAppSystemID" in your System Library.
Quit Aperture.
Go to your MacintoshHD and open the folder "Library", then "Application Support", then "ProApps".
Remove the File "ProAppsSystemID" to the Desktop, if it exist and restart Aperture.
Reenter your serial number, hopefully for the last time.
Sometimes Aperture writes this file to a temporary directory, when it cannot write to the Library. If the above does not work, look at the temporary directory /tmp
Use the Finder's "Go" menu
Go > Got to folder and enter /tmp into the textfield. If you see the file there, move it to its proper location.
In this case you may want to repair the permissions on your system drive; you can do this using the "First Aid" tools in "Disk Utility" (located in Applications > Utilities)

Keep asking for my serial number again and again

Have just installed CS5 , all paid up, all signed up, all numbers given and verified, but.....nothing CS5 works, all keep asking for my serial number again and again, accept and verify number is correct, adobe tells me I'm all up and good and running, then screen tells me I'm not licensed so it closes down. same in InDesign, and Photoshop. What the hell is going on Adobe??????

Could be a permissions problem, so the licensing never can persistently verify the serial and create the necessary key files. Try creating another user account with admin privileges and run it from there, then check the settings on your existing account and the pertinent user data folders.

Final Cut won't open, says identical serial number running on network when it's not

I've been running my Final Cut Pro version 6.06 on my Mac 0S X (v. 10.7.5) for years without an incident. This is the only machine it's installed on. I left a project open overnight, and when I came to it this morning there was an error: This application cannot continue because another application with an identical serial number is already running on another computer on your network.
The project then closes and everytime I try to reopen, the same error appears. If anyone can help fast I would appreciate it.
Again, this is the only computer running Final Cut Pro under my serial number, so I'm truly baffled as to why this problem came out of the blue. Restarting the computer's not helping. The only way I can use Final Cut right now is by disconnecting to the Internet.

I tried the preference manager (thank you, good program to have) but in this case it didn't do the trick.
I'm on a desktop PowerMac connected to a router via Ethernet. Every other device is connected via wifi, including my iPhone, iPad, my wife's laptop, her iPhone, and her iPad. None of these other devices have anything related to Final Cut installed on them, which is why this is so baffling. Plus this problem literally came out of nowhere.
I'll still try disconnected each device one at a time...

Two step serial number verification in PreUUT

I am using sequential model and trying to modify PreUUT so that I can implement two step verification for serial number using "Do While" loop with Message Popup. e.g. if the operator doesn't enter matching serial number it will loop again unitl matching serial number are entered in both popup entries. The issue is I could not save this, serial number, into global variable and print it in the report. Any help would be appreciated. Below is the example of my implementation within PreUUT;

First of all why would you need to put both on the Report? If they are forced to enter the same serial number then it seems to me that you only need to display one of them.

Invalid serial number (fixed) and incredibly slow uploads

I have a G4 Mac Mini running OS X Server 10.5. It's been working for a long time. I just moved and suddenly it said invalid serial number. I saw Airport was on and turned it off and that problem seems resolved (how did it start??). Now, I have another problem. I used to move files through the server no problem. No, uploads max out at 50KB/sec. It doesn't matter if I connect via wireless or wired. What could cause this? All the disks check out. I've resorted to moving files onto the server with a portable external hard drive. Any help at all would be appreciated.
I also can't update the server. It stalls on restart or shutdown, every single time. Suggestions?
I've searched and not found any good matches for my issues.

When you enter the serial number there are usually six entry boxes where you enter just the numbers from the serial number, four numbers per box.

I already registered my premiere elements online but it still asks for serial number validation and I cannot get into the program.

I sign in with my adobe username/login info and then it asks for my serial number validation which I have gone online to enter. It says the product is validated online but when I try to get into the program it still asks to connect to the internet to validate your serial number...

If you had made a search in this forum you would have found the answer many times. You have to thoroughly delete iWork. It isn't enough to delete the parts you see in the application folder.

restart the computer for good measures and install from the disk again. Don't forget to do the updates too
