Serial # on box?

Hi, my dynex TV was stolen but I still have the box. On it there's a small label with a bar code, a lot number, a date of manufacture and another code (numbers and letters) and I was wondering whether this could be the TV's serial number by any chance? Or whether it would even be on the box at all.
Thanks

I don't think it's the model number as that's listed separately and I seem to remember not being able to find a registration function on the dynex website.
If it makes any difference the box has C/NO. : 0035 of 6240 on it. As 0035 is the end of the code I gave above that's what made me think it could be the serial.
Thanks

  • Getting serial number box while transfer post in MB1A but not while doing MIGO

    Hi Team
I am getting serial number box while transfer post in MB1A.
But getting below error under serial number tab while doing GR through MIGO of outbound delivery.
Issuing plant and receiving plant, material, batch, qty are same in both cases.
How can I get serial number box when doing GR? Does any customizing changes needed?

Movement type is different for those two screen shots, also you are saying you are using MB1A, but you are using 301 movement type. Generally 301 movement type is not allowed from MB1A t-code.
Please check these SAP notes if relevant for your case.
856548 - MIGO: you cannot enter serial numbers
    856662 - T156Q: Missing entries

  • Sending data through a serial write box (vision processing)

Hi there, I am fairly new to labview and vision assistant. I was wondering if I could get some assistance on a particular problem we are having with our project. The idea is that we will use a webcamera to analyze a continuous loop of images and identify shapes, then send the data through the serial port to a controller which uses the mint motion language. The problem we are having is we cant sind a way to send the data we are getting from particle analysis to the serial port. Is there any way we can do this? I would be eternally grateful for any kind of pointers!
I will attach the write to box we are using right now as well as the program itself

  • IPod Nano Recall- Serial Number Box

My question is, is the box you recive connected to the serial number of the ipod nano you requested it with becuase i have two ipod nano 1st's and i have applied for the box for the first one but i think ive lost it now, could i use the box for the first ipod to send the second ipod nano and still recive a replacement.
    Thanks

If you are unsure I would Apple and ask first. 1-800-MY-APPLE. My guess is that it should be just fine. Just leave a note in the package indicating the difference in serial numbers as extra precaution.

  • Cannot find serial # on box just purchased

Where is the serial # on a newly purchased Adobe Photoshop Elements 12?

You may not have a serial number, depending on where you bought it. Some stores will give you a redemption code on your receipt. If that's what you have, here's how to use it to get a serial number:

  • Problem with serial number on second install

I bought and downloaded CS4 upgrade. The first install on my desktop went fine. When trying to install the second on my laptop, the serial number box turns up a red x immediately upon typing it. I have verified my serial number and re-typed it numerous times. I did an on-line chat and after a half hour wait was told they couldn't help me. Gave me two phone numbers to call for licensing problem, both long distance. I called both numbers and got fax machines both times. This is frustrating, thus my screen name.....frustrated Brooks. Can anyone help?

Technically you are only allowed 2 installs on your machine, which includes all versions.  If you have CS3 on the computer then you are at capacity and the system may know this.  This is a grey area but there was a thread on in today.

  • SOMEONE USED MY SERIAL NUMBER TO REGISTER MY IPOD TO THEIR ACCOUNT.

Hello. I realized that you can register your ipod to your apple account with the serial number in the box. Because of this, I am able to track my lost iPod touch the moment it has wifi -its in lost mode (so yeah, I;m just waiting for it to go online before it alarms, displays my phone number, and locks)
NOW THE OTHER SITUATION: Right before I bought that iPod, someone at home lost my previous 2010 iPod touch. I still have the box(THE SERIAL NUMBER) AND the receipt so I thought maybe if I register the serial number, I can have it tracked on iCloud. I was able to "register" when I visited the page, "register your iPod" but it didn't show up in my Apple Support Profile thing... when I registered it from there, it showed that the thief already registered it in ther Apple I.D.
Now if I still have serial number/the box/and the proof of purchase, will apple be able to help me by tracking it or at least red flag/disable the thief's usage of the iPod??? I don't know. It's just that I think I see that the technology is there butI don't know if it can be used for people who's iPod's have been stolen and/or lost like me. And I think its unfair that people get to get away by legally being allowed to "take over" your iPod with their Apple I.D.'s even if you still have the serial number/box/and proof of purchase.

wow. so these thieves can just LEGALLY take over your iPod with their accounts. Using a serial number that YOU BOUGHT while you have the PROOF of purchase and the BOX still WITH YOU--even if serial number tracking technology is available--the device is still allowed to live for them, while apple provides them legal services. It should at least be disabled How tragic. Next time I own a THIRD iPod (which is not anytime soon), I'll have to chain it to my neck... oh the world

  • FCE won't accept my Serial Number

I bought a copy of Final Cut Express HD (version 3.5 universal binary) in August but waited to install it until I got my new Mac. I bought the new Mac last week (24" iMac with a Core 2 Duo chip) and tried to install tonight.
When I enter my serial number, the program says "The serial number you entered is not valid".
Yes, I double and triple-checked every character. I am sure I'm using O and 0 (and 1 and L) properly. I am using hyphens where indicated (though I also tried without). I am using uppercase (though I also tried lowercase). The format is one character followed by nine triplets as I've seen other people mention.
This is a brand new package of FCE. I don't want anyone else's serial number, I just want mine to work. Could it possibly be an incompatibility with the new 24" iMac???
    24" iMac   Mac OS X (10.4.7)   Core 2 Duo 2.33GHz
    iMac   Mac OS X (10.4.7)   Core 2 Duo 2.33GHz

I had a similar problem when installing FCE 1.0.1 on an old G3 iMac recently.
The problem turned out to be that the cursor was not at the start of the serial number box - for some reason it was one space along, which is too small for you to notice.
All I did was press the backward delete key to ensure the cursor was actually at the start of the line. Also DO NOT press the spacebar when you have finished the number.
    Ian.
    PS.
    1. ALL letters are upper case.
    2. Each triplet is composed entirely of either letters or numbers - not a mixture.
    3. The hyphens MUST be included and are all these kind - not these _
    4. There must be NO GAPS - either between the symbols or at the beginning and end of the serial number.
Here is what a serial number should look like (it's a fake of course!):-
    A-123-ABC-456-DEF-789-KLM-890-RST-SAS

  • Why won't my serial number work?

I'm trying to set up adobe photshop cs5 extended (student and teacher edition) and my serial number will not work.  It will take the numbers but not the letters so when i try to type it in I'm leaving two serial number boxes open and i can't move on.  I really need help with this because i don't know what to do and I need this in order to do homework for my college classes.

Can you ensure that you are trying to enter the correct number? For more information, see http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/152/tn_15290.html

  • Entered CS6 serial number. Now a serial number from a qualifying product is being requested.

Had to nuke my Windows 7 partition.  Did not deactivate CS6 (just learned about that here).  Now running Windows 8, reinstalled CS6, and now it's barking that my "Serial Number is valid, but..."
    What can I do?

    What can I do?
    You've entered a CS6 upgrade serial number.
Now you use the Product dropdown box and select whichever version you're upgrading from (e.g. CS5) then enter the CS5 serial number in the Serial Number box next to it.

  • Standalone LR5  serial No -repeatedly entered

I have purchased a Standalone LR5 licence and everytime I have access to it, asks me to provide serial No (which i already have). so every time I need to enter the serial no to get it work.
The first pop up screen has 2 options
    1. I have a serial no and I want to licence
    2. Trial
I enter option 1 by hitting next and then the serial no boxes appear where I filled them in, and it works.
BUT I don't want to do it every time.
    Appreciated your assistance
    Thanks in advance,
    Maria

There are a few different variations of licensing for a LR version, so maybe what you bought doesn’t match the version of the trial.  What type of LR 5 did you buy, and where did you buy it, and how much did it cost—all these would be clues about what variation you might have.

  • Wanting to deactivate PS Elements on Mac and transfer program to a friend. Is it OK to download a trial to my friend's Mac and use my serial number.  Also is the serial number the same for Mac and Win versions?  Many thanks.

Wanting to deactivate PS Elements on Mac and transfer program to a friend. Is it OK to download a trial to my friend's Mac and use my serial number.  Also is the serial number the same for Mac and Win versions?  Many thanks.

Yes it should work transferring PSE10 from Mac to Mac. There is a download link below for PSE10, which your friend could use. There is a formal licence transfer process but it’s not necessary for your friend to register the product (activation is sufficient) although he couldn’t benefit from future upgrade pricing without registration. Serial numbers typically can only be registered one time.
Boxed versions of PSE are normally multi-platform with disks for both Windows and Mac; so the serial number is the same. Downloads have tended to be single platform only although I believe the current version PSE12 will work on both Windows and Mac with the same serial number – boxed or download.

  • Message Box Output

    Hello to all,
I am failrly new to TestStand and have a question
Prior to begining the Test Sequence, I am prompting the operator with a Message box to select the part number that they will be using to test. How can I output this information out of the message box so that It can retrieve the correct file that I will be calling and also display that number on the Base Name of the Report, (where report options is located)?

    Hi FredTest,
So are you not using the default serial number box that is prompted by the PreUUT callback? Or did you override the PreUUT callback and create your own serial number popup? Perhaps you have an additional message popup besides the default one?
If you are using the PreUUT callback, you notice in the Parameters tab you have the UUT container with a SerialNumber variable. This variable gets set when you enter something in our serial number dialog box. This UUT container is a parameter that gets passed by the Test UUTs sequence. Because of this, in the Test UUTs sequence, you will have access to this variable (In the Test UUTs sequence, look under the Locals tab and then expand the UUT container).  Several of the callback functions fired off by Test UUTs are sent this container so you can use the information in there such as the serial number.
So, for example, if you override the TestReport callback (Edit >> Sequence File Callbacks; This callback allows you to change or replace report generation), you notice again in the Parameter tab, you have access to the SerialNumber variable under the UUT container.
If you are not using the PreUUT callback, let me know and we can discuss an alternative route.
(P.S. When using the Message Popup step, the data you type in is stored in the Step.Result.Response variable)
Also, this example, Including results of the PreUUT and PostUUT callBacks in the report may or may not help out. Also check out Obtaining UUT Information from within a Client Sequence
    File.
    Hope this helps!
