Serial #'s and my account info

Hi, I hope I'm posting in the right forum. I uninstalled Photoshop CS and Pagemaker 7 from my main hard drive and reinstalled them on my external hard drive. My main drive was filling up. I could not log into my account with the Adobe ID, my email or the password I had. It was a few years ago that I registered and created my account. I've moved and closed my business since then. I tried all the suggestions, waited on hold on the customer service line and finally just created a new account. I can't access my original account that has my already registered serial #'s. I'd like to get all my info updated and in 1 account. Does anyone have any suggestions on how I can do this? I have Windows XP Professional. I appreciate your help! Thanks,

There is no need to uninstall on the old machine, especialyl if you plan on reformatting/ deleting al lfiles, anyway. All that matters is the activation which can be done through the Help menu. Downloads here:

Just be warned that there will be install problems with CS3 on the latest versions of OSX, no matter what... this may be an exercise in patience....

Stolen ipod on thursday. i have serial number and all other info

My ipod was 'stolen' this thursday at school. Today is tuesday. Is it not possible to track my ipod's current ip address with the serial number and such? And I did reported the missing ipod to my school. What else can I do? I can report it to the police. But how do I do that? And its rather late so I don't know if anyone will listen now. I'm already a couple of days late in reporting so the chances of me not ever finding my ipod is bigger. I also plan on contacting the Apple media helpline (408)-974-2042 and ipod technical support (800)-275-2273 tomorrow morning. Also, is the same serial number in my receipt engraved into my ipod?

I'll do exactly what you've said. To report it to the police. I will then have them call ipod technical support (800)-275-2273 because apparently if I give them my ipod's serial number AND someone happened to plug it into a computer, they can find it. Family sharing verification has an old credit card number to verify. I have updated the credit card info but it is still not appearing in the verification process asking for the security code of the card. How lng to have account info updated to cloud

I am trying to set up a family sharing with a new iMac and other Mac pro computer and other apple products. When I click to manage account and the add a member, I am told to verify the user by entering the security code from the credit card. The card listed is an old one and has since been changed. I updated the info on my apple account, but it is not getting to the iCloud for the family sharing. The number shown is the old card. When I enter a code it says invalid. How long does it take for the info to udate to all systems?

Happy Holidays! The resource below explains how to edit the credit card information for the Apple ID account that you want to use for Family Sharing. Once you've made the changes, I would suggest you sign out of your iTunes Store on all of your devices, and then restart them. The changes should take place quickly. There is a link to the iTunes Store support below if you need more help.

Click to open your account in iTunes. (You might need to sign in with your Apple ID.)
Alternatively, you can:
Open iTunes.
Click iTunes Store.
Click Sign In and enter your Apple ID.

From the Account Information page, click Edit to the right of Payment Type.
You can see the payment methods that the iTunes Store accepts in the Payment Type section. If you want to remove the payment method, select None in the Payment Type section. See what to do if None isn't showing or you can't select it.

Family Sharing

Lightroom 5.7 just installed, asking for serial number, not listed in online account info

My online account info shows serial numbers for versions 2,3, and 4 of Lightroom, but not 5. I've been using 5.2 for about a year, since I signed up for the cc photography bundle. My cc desktop app shows only PS cc and PS 2014 installed. How can I get a valid serial number to activate the LR 5.7 I just installed as an update?

I have the same thing happen to me. Every time I start Aperture, it asks for the license. Once I have entered the license key it lets me use the application. However, the next time I use the application again, i get the same problem. I have tried reinstalling the application, and am asked for the license key at the beginning of the install and again once the package is started. To no avail. And I get no other messages.
I called Apple Support, and after booking a call with a support person (a Genius?), I got one who, after reading the summary of my problem in the service request, said simply "this is for Aperture? Aperture is a Microsoft product, you have to call Microsoft". And that was that.
Please, anyone have any ideas?

Attaching Existing Contact and Account Info in Lead

While creating a new Lead, I'm attaching an existing Contact and Existing Account. But other than the name fileds, none of the other fileds like address, phone numbers are not populated.
How can I make the fields prefilled with the info when I select an existing contact and account?

I am assuing that the Contact and Account is known when the lead is created. So in such cases I soultion is as follows.
We make the Account and Contact fields Read Only on the Lead Page. I request (force) the user to navigate to the Contact and create the Lead under Contact. Then I use JoinFieldValue to default various fields
On Lead we use
For "First Name" Default value as JoinFieldValue('<Contact>',[<ContactId>],'<ContactFirstName>')
For "Last Name" Default value as JoinFieldValue('<Contact>',[<ContactId>],'<ContactLastName>')
For "Cellular Phone #" Default value as JoinFieldValue('<Contact>',[<ContactId>],'<CellularPhone>')
and so on
In "Account Id" Default value as JoinFieldValue('<Contact>',[<ContactId>],'<AccountId>')
In "Company" Default value as JoinFieldValue('<Contact>',[<ContactId>],'<AccountName>')
In "Annual Revenues" Default value as JoinFieldValue('<Account>',(JoinFieldValue('<Contact>',[<ContactId>],'<AccountId>')),'<AnnualRevenues>')
Address fields I have not tried and am not sure.
In case you do not wish to make the Account and Contact fields read only you will have to write workflows to monitor for change in ContactId & AccountId and then Update Values (maybe with a wait)

Passes will list any season passes you have purchased and still have some left to get.
Alerts is to notify you of new music from artists you select.
Go to the artist page in iTunes and scroll to the bottom and click on *Alert me*.

That's not the correct port. It should be 993 for incoming.
If you signed into iCloud from the System Preferences, it should automatically create the iCloud account for you in Mail. Sounds like it is an account you already had set up for MMe in Mail.
Open Mail preferences, open the Accounts tab, disable that account in the advanced pane.
Open Sys Prefs, open the iCloud tab, and sign out of iCloud. Then sign back in and see if a new iCloud account is automatically created.

A solution would be to use Apple's iCloud to sync instead of iTunes. This requires the latest operating system, iOS 5. Now backups will be done to the cloud, and you can choose what gets synced across your devices by turning them off in iCloud settings (i.e. turn off Calendars, Photos, etc.).

If you are unable to remember your password, security questions, don’t have access to your rescue address or are unable to reset your password for whatever reason, your only option is to contact AppleCare(or Apple ID Support), upon speaking to an operator you should explain that your problem is related to your Apple ID, this way you will not be charged for assistance, even if you don’t have an AppleCare plan.

You can view some account info by tapping on your id in Settings > Store and selecting View Apple ID on the pop-up - is that the info that you want to see ?

Thee if the gray indicates that there a Restriction set that prevent changing accounts. Go to Settings>General>Restrictions.
