Serial upgrade not working

I just day's ago bought Final Cut Studio 2 to upgrade my Final Cut editor as I primerilly use a G5 as my main machine and a Mac Book Pro for on-the-go editing. So I decided to get a Legal Copy of Final Cut Studio 2 Upgrade.   However now as I go through the instalation I am presented with a bind as the Legally bought copies of Final Cut 2, 3, 4, 4.5 and 5.1 Studio's serial codes don't work with the Upgrade second part serial.  
I have been scowering the internet to see if I can find a reason why and have noticed a lot of places that are offering Real Final Cut Serials key generators.  What makes me worried is these services are offering REAL I.D.'s and I fearful that this is why my serial no longer works. 
I am also worried as back in 2006, Apple Support exchanged my former G5 from a dual prosessor 2.0ghz to a Dual Core 2.0ghz after a spate of re-occuring problems where not fixed when it was sent in to be repared.  Because of the change in system, I took advantage of the Upgrade service where I sent in my Legal Copy of Final Cut 4 with the Disc and serial to use the upgrade service.  However after a good few months I had not recived the upgrade to final cut nor had I recieved any correspondance to what the problem was.  I eventually got a check from Apple with the refund for the monies I had enclosed with the Disc and a polite person at apple explained how the disc had been lost and because now I had no master Disc I could not get the uprade through that fassion, but the serial would be valid.  
I am wondering if Apple has deleted the serial or has the key gen software created a clone of my serials?  
Can anyone help as I am in a bind as the Upgrade boxset does not suggest what I need to upgrade from and I have even tried my DVD Studio Pro 3 serials and Motion serials in hope to get some resolve.  Thank You

Most serial problems are caused by not entering the correct letters and numbers, mistaking 1 for I or O for 0.
Also ensure no spaces are left particularly at the beginning and end.
If the problem is caused because of your previous dealings with Apple you need to contact them as there are no Apple reps on these forums.

    Just had this issue.  I turned WIFI off and it connected fine.  Then turned WIFI back on and working as always.
    It had something to do with the WIFI conflicting with the exchange server.

    The most likely explanation is that you downloaded the Creative Cloud version of Lightroom instead of the standalone version of Lightroom (which you can download from here).
    If that doesn't work, you'd need to provide a lot more details, including version of Lightroom, operating system, and exactly what you are doing that doesn't work.

    The license is for two copies of Photoshop by one user on two different computers that can not be used at the same time.Contact Adobe customer service by phone.  Only they can help you.
    They will deactivate both copies of Photoshop.

    If you purchased an upgrade and it is askling you to choose the qualifying version, that would be the older version (CS5.5) that qualifies you to use the upgrade version.  You will have to choose CS5.5 as well as provide the serial number that was used for CS5.5 when you activated it.

  • Flash Player 10.2.153.1 upgrade not working on 64bit Intel-Mac in Safari 5.0.4

    I feel robbed! I want to use my Safari.
    The latest upgrade of Flash player does not work.
    I don't even remember downloading it, it must've been an automatic update!
    I can not play youtube videos nor can I play any games on Facebook.
    Who knows what is not working in my Avid!! I have not been working on that lately.
    The flash player still works on FireFox, but i have no intention on switching to that.
    The first aid has been run a few times.
    It will download the free flash player for Intel Mac and it says the install is successful, but it is not there.
    I have CS4 and it never bothered or disrupted the free flash player before.
    I uninstalled it just in case and nearly lost it! When I tried to reinstall Flash, it said my disc to was blank!
    Luckily, a friend in the business of fixing computers was able to get that back! whew.
    The flash player from the CS4 is showing up in a folder and will even open when clicked on, but it does nothing. It is version 10.0 r2.

    So the Shockwave Flash plugin in FF is Installed and Enabled. That's why Flash Player is working and why you were able to see the Flash Player logo animation. On the other hand, evidently the Shockwave Flash plugin is either not Installed in Safari or if it is it is Disabled. And that is why it's not working and you can't see the Flash Player logo.
    Yes, I know Flash Player can be Installed in any supported 64bit OS. Also I thot that the 64bit browser in Mac was the "default" browser and the "Compatibility layer" had to be used. Similiar to the PC IE8 or IE9, switching over to the Compatibility feature in the browser.
    Do you need to activate the Compatibility feature?  I have had other Mac users tell me that their problem was they were using the 64bit browser and found out they had to use the 32bit browser, so I thot it was something they had to do. I would think if it was automatic they would not have had to "do" anything. But like I said I don't use Mac so can only relate what they tell me.
    With Safari on either of the test sites, no Flash Player version was displayed?
    Look into the HD/Library/Internet Plug-ins/ directory and see if you have the below two files:
    Flash Player.plugin, flashplayer.xpt

  • Design Standard CS 5.5 serial number not working for Photoshop

    I am trying to install the Design Standard CS 5.5 but am having trouble with Photoshop.  All of the programs installed and open correctly except for Photoshop.  When I try to launch it, the Adobe Application Manager comes up saying that the serial number is "not valid for this product."  The serial seemed to work during the install and both InDesign and Illustrator launch without any problems.  I have also tryed uninstalling and then reinstalling Photoshop, but I still have the same problem.  I am running Mac OS X 10.6.8.

    Are you definitely installing Design Premium CS5, not a similar sounding Creative Suite? And not CS5.5?

    I just wiped my macbook pro harddrive and upgraded to Lion OSX. I bought the CS5 Design Premium last year (in a case). Unfortunately, my discs are unavailable, but I do have the correct serial number. When I downloaded the CS5.5 Design premium trial (to plug in my serial number), it says it isn't valid. Is there a place that I can download the CS5 Design Premium Suite so that my serial number will work? Help! I'm a photographer and I need PS to work immediately!

    Maddiewilbur have you lost your installation media or is it just unavailable for the moment?  If you will have access to the installation media at a later time I would recommned installing the trial of Design Premium CS5.5 and then remove it and install CS5 once you have access to it.
