Serialization/Deserialization Error

Hi..my aim is to serialize/deserialize my "SoapPair" class , that contains Axis MessageContext obj (SoapPair receives this from its constructor), not serializable object(when trying to normally serialize , it returns "axis MessageContext not serializable")..
How do I serialize/deser the SoapPair class?
Do I have to use SerializationContext/Deser context? How?
Thanks in Advance.

This forum for Networking and has nothing to do with axis Serialization.
I am not sure if I remember axis has a deployment descriptor for the web service and there you can define you Serialize/Dez your bean if you do not want to use the default one or you can specify for certain class a serialize/Dez factory serializer.

  • Deserialization Error while connecting to web service

    I am getting a deserialization error while connecting to a web service.
    Deserializing parameter 'ScheduleReceiveService': could not find deserializer for type {http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema}anyType...
    There are two methods ex
    UserDefinedClass1 methodA(java.lang.Object ) and
    UserDefinedClass2 methodB(UserDefinedClass3)
    And when i generate java files using WSDL2Java using apache axis the UserDefinedClass is generated as follows.
    public class UserDefinedClassA implements java.io.Serializable {
    private java.lang.Object _return;
    // There are other methods for setting the attributes,hashCode,equals etc
    Now when i try to invoke the method from the client i get this as an error ?
    Deserializing parameter 'UserDefinedClass': could not find deserializer for type {http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema}anyType
    Appreciate any suggestion.

    Hi Manohara,
    To download the file from SharePoint, I recommend to use the credential for a user who can access the file in SharePoint in the client object model.
    NetworkCredential credentials = new NetworkCredential(“username”, “pwd”, “domain”);
    ClientContext context = new ClientContext(“http://thesitecollection”);
    context.Credentials = credentials;

  • Deserialization error [Causes and Cure]

    Hi all,
    What is meant by "desearilizing error" ? Please provide information or links on this.
    And what should be done inorder to overcome it.
    I have a client proxy in SAP and i am trying to consume a WEB SERVICE from .NET.
    The services has 1 input parameter which is String datatype.
    But when i test it i am getting Deserializing Error as
    'CX_SY_CONVERSION_NO_DATE_TIME:XSLT exception'.
    Please help. I am on the end of my wits :).
    Thanks & Regards.
    Yats.

    Question: what is DESERIALIZATION ERROR
    Answer: When you get the replay from .NET server, it is an XML document that needs to be converted into ABAP objects. The ABAP proxy tries to parse that XML and populate the ABAP objects -- this is called DESERIALIZATION.
    The way ABAP proxy parses the XML response from a remote server depends on what is the XML "structure" it was programmed to expect. That "structure" is described in XSD part of WSDL. If you manually trim WSDL, the inner XSD (schema) definition may be compromised, and although you successfully create the proxies, yet those proxies would be expecting a slightly different structure of XML streams. Hence when the XML stream comes in, and the proxy tried to de-serialize (parse) to create ABAP object, it fails. This is called DESERIALIZATION ERROR.
    You mentioned that you could successfully get a single record, while when multiple records came from server, it failed.
    This happens because XSD schema is telling the proxy generator to somehow expect a single record, instead of creating a collection (Array) of records -- again a schema mismatch.
    Solution: You need to analyze the incoming stream of XML through a tool e.g. Altoa XML Spy. That way you would figure out if the incoming stream is according to the trimmed WSDL you used to create you ABAP proxies.

    Hi,
    I'm experiencing exactly the same problem as you ...
    The only fix I found is to use static invocation ... with static invocation, WSCompile generates a deserializer and everything works fine, no mure NullPointer exception ...
    With dynamic invocation as you are trying to manage here, I didn't find any way to tell the client to use the deserializer generated with wscompile ...
    Does anyone know how to do it ?
    Thanks,

  • XML Deserialization Error when calling WebService from WebDynrpo

    Hi all,
    when calling a WebService-method from my WebDynpro-application, I get the following error message:
    "Deserializing fails. Nested message: XML Deserialization Error. Can not create instance of class [com.karmann.ApplMan.dto.SoftwareKomponenteDTO] when deserializing XML type [urn:com.karmann.ApplMan.dto][SoftwareKomponenteDTO].."
    SoftwareKomponenteDTO is a class that I have implemented. It implements Serializable and overwrites the methods "equals()" and "hashcode()". It contains members of types long, String and java.sql.Date.
    The method I call needs an argument of type SoftwareKomponenteDTO. Other methods which return something of type SoftwareKomponenteDTO do not make any problems.
    The same error message appears when I test the WebService-method in the WebService-navigator. So I assume that the problem is not the way I call the method from WebDynpro.
    Thanks for help,
    Christoph

    Thanks for this hint, Amar. But this points directly to my next problem: How can I set this parameter. I know how to set flat parameters (e.g. of type long, boolean, etc.). But how can I set a parameter of a complex type?
    For example I can call
        wdContext.currentSaveElement().setIdFather(long id)
    in order to set the parameter idFather of type long for the WebService-method save(). But there is no method
         wdContext.currentSaveElement().setIdFather(SoftwareKomponenteDTO aKomp)
    Could you please help me on more time?
    Kind regards,
    Christoph

    Hi all,
    I found what my problem was. The complex type that I deliver to my method (i.e. SoftwareKomponenteDTO) must have a public constructor without parameters. I think that this is slightly confusing, because in the other direction (method delivers complex type as return value) this is not neccessary. Anyway, my problem's solved now.

  • SOS!Serialization/Deserialization in Web Services!!!!!

    Hello, I have done some serialization/deserialization jobs before which is just about JavaBeans, but when it comes to Object Arrays, errors occured when the problem become more complex.Suppose I have an Object Array called params, nd params[0] is a JavaBean instance,params[1] is a String, while params[2] is a Float. I have tried many times, but the serialization works still failed.So anyone having met and solved such problem please share your code with me(my email is [email protected]), thanks very very much!

    Hi
    Elvez,
        Thanks for answering.I have created the web service client jar file through the NW studio standalone proxy wizrd which creates a jar file so that external java application can invoke the web service outside of the portal. The web service is called dynamically by the following code ...
    TestService service = new TestServiceImpl();
    TestBindingStub port = (TestBindingStub)service.getTestService();
    Pip3A2PriceAndAvailabilityRequest   request  = new Pip3A2PriceAndAvailabilityRequest();
    populateRequest( request );
    Pip3A2PriceAndAvailabilityResponse  response = port.getInventory( request );
    If I have issued Netweaver Studio to both publish the service as well as to consume the web service, I think then the issue is on the client side wizard which creates the proxy classes for the web service client in the jar file. The wsdl specifies the xml namespace for the Arrays but the generated client code probably is not setting the name space correctly.

  • Got a Deserialization Error

    Hi, I get the following Deserialization error when I used a Custom defined class as a parameter in the Client class. I followed the rules stated in the JAX-RPC tutorial:
    To be supported by JAX-RPC, an application class must conform to the following rules:
    It must have a public default constructor.
    It must not implement (either directly or indirectly) the java.rmi.Remote interface.
    Its fields must be supported JAX-RPC types.
    The class may contain public, private, or protected fields. For its value to be passed (or returned) during a remote call, a field must meet these requirements:
    A public field cannot be final or transient.
    A non-public field must have corresponding getter and setter methods.
    And when I looked in the generated class files I saw that custom object's SOAPBuilder and SOAPSerializer classes were generated.
    Also, the WSDL file thats generated included the custom object's information (member names) in the complexType section.

  • Deserialize error JPA at LOB value

    Hi,
    I have a strange error and i am looking for a solution since one week. I use oc4j and JPA and try to manage a one to many relationship. So I have two entities job and jobargument. The jobargument contains an LOB.
    In the session bean I persist a job with argument. When I query for that job immediately, I get an deserialize error of the LOB, if I wait for at least one minute, no error occurs.
    The JobEntity:
    @Id
    @Column(name = "JOB_ID", nullable = false)
    @GeneratedValue(generator = "Car2x_JobSeq")
    @SequenceGenerator(name = "Car2x_JobSeq", sequenceName = "CAR2X_JOB_SEQ",
    allocationSize = 1)
    private Long jobId;
    @OneToMany(mappedBy = "jobEntity",
    cascade = { CascadeType.PERSIST },
    fetch = FetchType.EAGER)
    private Collection<JobArgument> jobArgumentSet;
    The JobArgument:
    @Id
    @Column(name = "FK_JOB_ID", nullable = false, insertable = false,
    updatable = false)
    private Long fkJobId;
    @Id
    @Column(name = "SEQUENCE", nullable = false)
    private Long sequence;
    @Lob
    @Column(name = "CLOB_VALUE")
    private Serializable clobValue;
    @ManyToOne(cascade = { CascadeType.PERSIST },
    fetch = FetchType.EAGER)
    @JoinColumn(name = "FK_JOB_ID", referencedColumnName = "JOB_ID")
    private JobEntity jobEntity;
    Then I have a session bean where I persist a new jobs with jobargument:
    job = (JobEntity) persistEntity (job);
    job.addJobArgument(newArgument);
    newArgument.setJobEntity(job);
    newArgument = (JobArgument)persistEntity(newArgument);
    job.getJobId();
    And the error I get if i query for some jobs immediately is
    Exception Description: Could not deserialize object from byte array.
    Internal Exception: java.io.EOFException
    Mapping: oracle.toplink.essentials.mappings.DirectToFieldMapping[clobValue-->CAR2X_JOB.CLOB_VALUE]
    Descriptor: RelationalDescriptor(model.entities.JobEntity --> [DatabaseTable(CAR2X_JOB)]); nested exception is:
    Exception [TOPLINK-66] (Oracle TopLink Essentials - 2.0 (Build b41-beta2 (03/30/2007))): oracle.toplink.essentials.exceptions.DescriptorException
    Because it´s a web application I can´t control when a query will be made or a new job is enqueued.
    Any idea?
    Any help welcome!
    Bye kumaro

    My guess is that deserialization always fails, but the object is normally in the cache, so the clob is not read from the database.
    Waiting a minute is letting the gc run aggressively and is collecting the weak or soft references from the cache.
    If you disable the cache, or set a refresh on the query, it should make the error consistent.
    Serializing to a CLOB field is odd, shouldn't you be serializing it to a BLOB column? My guess is EclipseLink is writing bytes, but the db converts those somehow to chars and the inverse conversion fails.
    Making it a blob instead of clob should resolve the issue.
    You can serialize to a clob if you really want to, but you must convert the byte[] output into a encoded String. You could do this in your own Converter, or have EclipseLink do it if you set the fieldClassification on your mapping to String.

  • Deserialization Error while invoking web service from JDeveloper 10g

    When we tried to invoke a web service from JDeveloper version 10.1.3.4.0.4270, we got deserialization error.Here are the steps that we did to invoke the web service.
    1. Using WSDL URL, downloaded WSDL file and associated XSD files into local machine using wsa.jar utility.
    2. Using JDeveloper, created web service proxy project by referring the local WSDL file.Proxy got generated successfully.
    3. Secured the proxy using "secure proxy" option.
    4. Assigned all required values for parameters for web method.
    5. When tried to invoke the web service, got deserialization error.

    We think that the exact cause for the problem is as follows.
    1. If we check the XSD file corresponds to response object, for one of the element, the type is decimal
    <xsd:element minOccurs="0" name="ParentValueSetId" nillable="true" type="xsd:decimal"/>
    2. In the SOAP response, this element is empty so during deserialization, the numer format exception occurred in LiteralSimpleTypeSerializer class.
    Any help is greatly appreciated.

    Hi Suresh & Mukesh,
    Suresh:
    I started the service by going through the following path System Administrator > System Configuration > Service Configuration > Application > <SERVICE_NAME> in system configuration of portal
    Mukesh: Here I don't have any proxy settings.
    Can you please let me know where I'm going wrong.
    Thanx,

  • XML Deserialization error while consuming Enterprise service in wd java..

    Hello,
    I am trying to build 2 webdynpro java webdynpro applications which consumes enterprise service for purchase order and another application for Busines partner.
    While i was able to successfully consume the PO service in webdynpro java and get the desired output for PO..i get XML Deserialization error while running appliation for Business Partner..
    These are the details/steps i followed for the Business Partner application:
    1. After creating the model using the enterprise service, i created a service controller from the model to the component controller..
    2. Out of many inputs/output attributes during mapping from model to component controller. i further mapped the context from CC to ViewC.
    3. In the wdDoInit() method, i added the follwing code:
        BPCreate model1 = new BPCreate();
        Request_BusinessPartnerERPCreateRequestConfirmation_In RequestC = new  Request_BusinessPartnerERPCreateRequestConfirmation_In(model1);
        BPERPCrteReqMsg_S CreateMessage = new BPERPCrteReqMsg_S(model1);
        BPERPCrteReq_SBP Cpartner = new BPERPCrteReq_SBP(model1);
    String Category = new String();
        String lf = new String();
        Cpartner.setInternalID(new String());
        Cpartner.setNumberRangeIntervalBusinessPartnerGroupCode(new String());
        Cpartner.setLifeCycleStatusCode(lf);
        Cpartner.setCategoryCode(Category);
        CreateMessage.setBusinessPartner(Cpartner);
        RequestC.setBusinessPartnerERPCreateRequestMessage_Sync(CreateMessage);
        wdContext.nodeBusinessPartnerERPCreateRequestMessage_Sync().bind(CreateMessage);
    4. When i comment this code and run the application, the aplication comes up but the input fields are non-editable..
    5. If i place this code in wdDoInit() method, i get the Deserialization error..
    Any idea about why this error occurs and which areas in the application can lead to these errors?
    I checked that the service runs fine in soamanager.
    Thanks, JVR

    Hi Kishore,
    This error is majorly because while executing this Webdynpro application you are not entering all the mandatory fileds of WS.
    Please try to execute this WS from WS-Navigator, check which fileds are mandatory and then
    appropriately instantiate it in wdDoInit and pass all the fields required.
    Regards,
    Vaibhav Modi.

  • XML message as input for webservice gives deserialization error

    Hi,
    jDeveloper 10.1.3
    BPEL PM 10.1.2.0.2
    Carrental example
    Problem:
    For the Business Rule Engine I did the Carrental XML example. Based on the java application that connects to the BR engine, I created a webservice in jDeveloper and deployed it to my localhost AS 10.1.3. The webservice has a testRule method that accepts a String buf as input. For now, the only thing the webservice does is return a 'do nothing' string. This works fine:
    When deployed the testpage generates the following SOAP message:
    <soap:Envelope xmlns:soap="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/">
    <soap:Body xmlns:ns1="http://carrental/types/">
    <ns1:testRuleElement>
    <ns1:buf>my xml message</ns1:buf>
    </ns1:testRuleElement>
    </soap:Body>
    </soap:Envelope>
    The SOAP response is:
    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
    <env:Envelope xmlns:env="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/" xmlns:xsd="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema" xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance" xmlns:ns0="http://carrental/types/"><env:Body><ns0:testRuleResponseElement><ns0:result>do nothing...</ns0:result></ns0:testRuleResponseElement></env:Body></env:Envelope>
    In BPEL Designer I create a new asynchronous process ValidateBR, with a partnerlink for the webservice, based on the following WSDL file:
    <definitions

    Hi,
    Reading only is not possible..
    I will be still more clear in my question this time..
    I have deployed my bpel. My receiveInputVariable is of type xsd:string.
    So when i run the bpel in my console, i will be asked to give input as string data.
    So when i go to the XMLView, it will be like this.
    <soap:Envelope xmlns:soap="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/">
         <soap:Body xmlns:ns1="http://xmlns.oracle.com/Sabari_POC_Appln/DOM_Parser/ConvertToBLOB">
              <ns1:process>
                   <ns1:input></ns1:input>
    </ns1:process>
    </soap:Body>
    </soap:Envelope>
    Now, i am going to give my input like this. --- which leads to error.
    <soap:Envelope xmlns:soap="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/">
         <soap:Body xmlns:ns1="http://xmlns.oracle.com/Sabari_POC_Appln/DOM_Parser/ConvertToBLOB">
              <ns1:process>
                   <ns1:input>

    *</project>*
    *</projects>*
    </ns1:input>
    </ns1:process>
    </soap:Body>
    </soap:Envelope>
    This xml is not accepted as string input.. so kindly suggest me some other solution.
    I also tried.. like.. making my receiveInputVariable of type xsd:anyType, it also dint help. same error occurred.
    Thanks,

  • Web Service: XMLUnmarshalException: XML Deserialization Error

    Hi,
    I am trying to use a complex web structure in web service.
    I am simply trying to display some data from that web service in my view.
    I am getting the foll error:
    <b>
    Service call exception; nested exception is:
         com.sap.engine.services.webservices.jaxrpc.exceptions.XmlUnmarshalException: XML Deserialization Error. XML is not valid. Element [http://www.siebel.com/xml/Account Interface]<Account> is required in <SiebelMessage> but can not be found.[Ljava.lang.StackTraceElement;@2fe4e7
    </b>
    I have gone thru most of the posts but they all have XMLMarshalException and not XMLUnmarshalException.
    Any inputs please?

    Hi Bala,
    I tried your suggestion but that did not work!
    I am not trying to test that web service via WSNavigator.
    Problem is my service does not come there once i deploy it.
    I am a newbie to WebServices so please correct me where am I wrong in these steps:
    1. I create a Deployable Proxy Project
    2. Then, i create a new Client Proxy Definition
    3. I enter pkg name, Proxy name, choose Local System. Then i give the WSDL location and finally press Finish.
    (It has created several files including ClientAPI.jar)
    4. Lastly, i chose Build EAR and deployed it.
    But i cannot see my web service in that list!
    Can you please help me in checking the request-response cycle for this web service.
    Regards,
    Dev
